So, I was watching Conan O'brian tonight, and the first half of his show usually consists of recent news followed by a joke. It just so happened he mentioned a "Popular Star wars game having a ****-sexual agenda" (Swtor being the only recent one i know to be popular. Please correct me if i'm wrong) He then followed by a joke that wasnt(to me atleast) offensive about there being a "brad vador". (I actually thought it was kinda funny.) My point is, IF this game was the one Conan was refering to, why would anyone say this? And if it WAS this game they were talking about, who would be able to make this noticable enough for conan?(Obviously not headline news), And why would it even matter in the first place? (I don't intend for this thread to offend anyone or start any type of malicious uneducated bigotry.)

My foot is still in the doorway.. just so i can peek in to see if the party has gotten any better. I haven't lost all hope, i'm just a little upset in the direction of the game right now.

After defending this game whole heartedly i have finally hit a wall. I can no longer bring myself to play this game. I will keep an active subscription until i find a better game to suit my needs. But honestly i can't even bring myself to log on for more than 30 minutes. I so badly want this game to succeed but i have no fighting arguement to convince anyone(or myself) to stay. The only reason I get on the forums anymore is the hope that maybe one of these weeks you will have an actual RELEVANT Q&A.(Do even need a sub for that?) I think the reason I am posting this is because I anticipated this games release and its ability to succeed so badly i was blind to all the problems this game has. The fact that i can log onto FFXI, a game that is damn near 11years old and pick up a group with a better community and playerbase than swtor has currently is quite sad... I shouldnt have to reroll on the fatman to enjoy my gameplay. (I SHOULDNT HAVE TO PAY TO TRANSFER FROM A DEAD SERVER EITHER) PVP: From being a very active pvp'er I didn't expect to have 10 different warzones at launch and i REALLY REALLY enjoyed huttball, but i can no longer ignore the server imbalance that 90% of the servers are experiencing. I will fight republic maybe 1/5 games, and most of the time we destroyed them... So I defended premades 100% and i'll admit it... But i soon realised that i cannot even pug without facing a premade every.... single.... time!!! And I apologize for not realizing both sides of this argument... Premade vs. Premade (fun), Premade vs. Pug (awesome!), Pug Vs Premade(not fun at alllllllllllll.) And the fact that if you pug, you get a premade 9 times out of 10 is real ******... PVE: This i really don't do a whole lot of(end game wise).. But the fact that i cannot pick up a group unless i'm in a guild with people is *********** rediculous... Heroic +2's Maybe... but everything else is a joke... I played both pub and emp side of assassin and wow.. what a difference... No wonder most of the community is empire... I can't disagree with my master(republic side) without saying some ignorant whoosy preteen response? Not to mention the gear looks rediculous.. Awesome i totally want to play republic now... One question for BW: WHY WONT YOU JUST ADMIT YOU WERE WRONG AND IMPLEMENT A SERVER MERGE? So thats my drunk two cents.. I'm upset with the direction of this game, but i will put hope in its ability to succeed so i will be here monitoring forums until.. i dunno more than 8/10 posts arent bashing the game. (I know those are high hopes but w/e) Eh, i'm over it... que the "Ok bye" and "can i have your stuff?" trolls... bottom line is I wanted this game to be my new MMO. But it's hard to call yourself an "MMO" when 90% of the time i'm playing by myself... So, for now, It just didnt make the cut...

I stopped listening after he said "most viable pvp class is 8 focused sentinels." It's absolutly rediculous how many people will fall in line with whatever class dare I say "Proffessional PvP'er" will complain about... People will believe anything they hear these days... i guess that why people still watch fox news.

Either you were one of the lucky ones that picked a good server off the bat, or just had the strength to reroll. But the only problem with rerolling is its a very thin line between a korean grind fest mmo, and a 2-3 weeks blast through content mmo.

Most of the forum goers are aware of the current problems going on in SW:TOR, so i wont go in depth with every problem(i'll just touch on the most common ones). We players know what we want, and you need us to succed in making this a great game, so why not listen to us? First off, why is it when every week you post a Q&A thread, most of the questions answered resemble "why can't i toggle my hood on and off?". That "would" be a great feature and all... But why not even hint as to why we can't have very usefull certain aspects of other MMO's to make this game awesome? Admit that you overcompensated for the amount of servers you needed, and consolidate them! the players won't be mad for the most part!(except maybe for the nitpickers that don't get to keep their "XXDUNGEONMASTERXX" legacy names or w/e.) Sure the "Doomsayers" will say that "OMG their shutting down servers!!! the game is really dying!!! LOL AT BIOWARE!! (or whatever the content sharks say.. but those players are bound to leave anyways.)But the people that really enjoy this game, i'm sure will be ok with the fact that they get more people to play with. And most new players won't have any idea.. Cross-server PVP/PVE: Now this one is a little more difficult because it COULD be solved by possibly consolidating servers, but hey, whats the downside of more people to play with? What is the REAL reason for not wanting to have cross server PVP and PVE? Pride? You don't wan't to be like any other MMO's? There is a reason they implemented these tools.. BECAUSE THEY WORKED!!! I'm not asking to make every wish on the forums come true..(PVP would be MESSSSSED up if that were the case.) But really... man up, bite your tounge, listen to your players(ON SERIOUS SUBJECTS!) And address these problems that can make a so called "dying game" an very successfull MMO!!! (BTW on a random note... I havent seen a SW:TOR commercial since about a month after launch... I still see WoW commercials...)

Who said I don't do that? I like how the automatic assumption is that we're "noobs" I'll say it once more, if you don't like pvp don't roll a pvp server.... ( pvp is player vs player, just thought I'd clear that up cause some of you don't grasp the concept )

Still don't think you get the fact that it's just a game. Regardless of what you think, the way people play a GAME doesn't directly relate to how they act in the real world. I am neither a bully nor criminal. Just because someone wants to make it a challenge for other people to level, or do whatever else they're doing at a generally lower level, doesn't mean those people thrive on making someone else's game experience hell. If you don't like getting killed by players at their discretion DON'T ROLL A PVP SERVER. But you must be the kind of person that gets really upset when you get ganged up on or focus fired on warzones cause you didn't get a fair 1v1 fight.

Nice generalization of people you know nothing about. You stray from the fact that pvp is pvp, it doesnt matter who you're killing, what lvl they are, and how "lame" or "stupid" you think that it is. It adds a new element to the game. If you think or anyone else thinks it's "disgusting" or "morally wrong". Go play a single player game or better yet DON'T ROLL A PVP SERVER. It's really that simple. ( not all of that is directed towards the person that I quoted)

Or they could roll A NON pvp server.
