  1. 1. About roots and resolve - look at my sig, offcial dev info. Never seen any BW statement that they plan to add roots to resolve. 2. Rolling on the floor - it would be Awe from jedi knights I think. Frozen in place - troopers carbonize.

Harpoon (400 points) + cryo granade (800 points) = white resolve (and probably dead target if you pulled him into hazard) Hidden Strike (400 points) + whatever OP 4 sec stun is called (800 points) = 6 sec of stun and white resolve. If you dont have CC breaker saved for scond stun, you may die. But hey, isnt this all OP can do? Jump on someone, burst and hope it was enough;) 16 sec while taking damage? Impossible. About roots and slows affecting resolve - you have official dev explanation in my sig. Since there is quite a few skills granting CC immunity to certain classes, possibilityhaving a sliver left of white resolve (possible to just miss in the middle of combat) and fact that all CC skills can be parried or resisted (depending on type) I am not going to continue discusion about target not affected by CCs whithout videos. You can be rooted all the time, this has nothing to do with resolve. Lifted and spinning as I understand are mezzes, they break on damage - I dont believe in your trolling attempt.

First, Darth Pillar is right, longest possible period of being unable to act (ie. pass the ball) is 16 seconds, and you cant take damage during that time (and ofc your CC breaker has to be on CD). If your healer is trying to keep you from dropping all that time, possible period of stunlock drops to 8 seconds. Second, operatives knockdown is affecting resolve, it is worth 400 points. I tested it and I call enyone who claims otherwise a big fat liar. Roots are not stuns, you can pass the ball. Fact that you dont understand resolve does not mean it is not working. CC is out of control in WoW for example, here it is not so bad.
  4. I am not an expert on healing, but isnt expertise boost for healing only for incoming healing and generated healing is multiplicated by damage increase value? Someone tested that?

  6. And what exactly changed? Please tell me, what new defences marauders now have? They have 1 less (no more 100% dmg reduction in force camo). Why you cant kite them? Annihilation is easier to kite because 80% run speed in predation was moved from anni tree. Maybe because they are carnage? I have news for you - you NEVER could kite carnage, but no one played carnage before and it is still weaker than anni (I tried it for few days and while it is easier to play, it is significantly less powerful because of lower survivability). You people act like whole class was buffed, but truth is, spec that was killing you before 1.2 was nerfed. It is still killing you of course, because it is a powerful spec. But it is WEAKER, not stronger. It is way weaker than during relase, and then, in december/january people like you claimed that marauders are weakest class in game. Now it is even weaker, I dont understand what are you talking about.

Difference is way lower than you try it to make, especialy considering secondary stat distribution. I felt competetive and contributing enough since my first WZ in 50 bracket. On my first char who hit 50 (assasin) I felt so weak before I got my first 300 epxertise.
  8. Maybe because they see not only strenghts, but weakness of their class too? I laugh at every single "mara/sent are OP after 1.2 patch" because spec most marauders use (annihilation) was nerfed hard - removal of 80% run speed predation and 100% damage mitigation from force camo is a serious nerf. Additionaly, removal of quick recovery talent nerfed them too (not much, but still). Ravage buff is meaningless, because annihilation spec rarely use it - in its previous form it was a dps loss to use it (because it is not building rage/fury). There were no other changes to this tree. Question - if you think marauders are OP, why didnt you cry for nerf at the relase of the game? They were (anni spec) stronger than now, much stronger even, because of bug in their talent tree, that instead of increasing crit damage of their dots just increased their dots damage. But to make things funnier, marauders were considered weakest class in game then.
  9. I am currently playing marauder, for weaponmaster set secondary stat distribution on recruit is much better than on BM. Sure, BM has advantage over recruit, but BM is a new...I should say champ stat-wise, but considering time needed to get it it is rather new cent. I won 12 games since hitting lev 50, lost around 20 (estimation) and I am mostly BM now. It is very easy to get.
  10. Not really, becasue every single BM piece, regardless of class, is full of accuracy+something. While you can customize a bit, you cant just get rid of accuracy without getting rid of expertise (using BM pieces). WH gear has much better secondary stats and this is IMO its biggest advantage over BM.

  12. OMG they will nerf relics, this will increase your precious TTK so much!!!!!!!11!!! Those 2 marauders killing you in "2 GCD" as half of pvp forum claims will seriously suffer after changing stacking debuffs, because you know, they dont have even 1. Now seriously, they read forum ,see all this whinning and decided to write something. Cant blame them, I do not envy their job. Nerfing relics will not change much (2 min CD, they are not responsible for much) and stacking debuffs from merc were already taken care off partially.
  13. My issue is fact that I dont see this TTK issue. Sure, healers were nerfed, god-mode turned off, some of them rage-quitted or rage-rerolled/specced, there is less healers in WZ, people die faster. But when you were focused by 3 dps before 1.2 you were toast if you were not guarded, enemies not taunted and healer didnt take care of you. Now - you are toasted more or less the same. People ARE throwing TTK out of their butts, this is the problem here. Seriously, what has changed besides healers nerf? 1,76% increased damage thanks to expertise change? Damage buff to 1 (one) marauder ability (if said marauder is anninhilation ofc, most of them are)? Bugged heatseekers (which was fixed now)? What else increased damage so much? Oh I think I know what else has changed. Instead of being full BM with 700 expertise against people with 0-300, even fresh lev 50 now have 900 against your 1200. So, maybe gear gap was partialy closed + less healers = faster kills? Basicaly, when I read those TTK threads and later play some WZ I seriously dont know what are you people talking about.

This tell me that people are sheeps following anyone who even remotely resembles leader and are ready to QQ about everything, it is enough to throw them a bone. 1 guy post article with TTK term and suddenly TTK is in every other thread in pvp forum. Seriously, people should play more and post less.
  15. What gear you can have if you dont have BM/WH? Before - chap,cent. Now - recruit. Is recruit a great set. No. Is it way better than anything but BM/WH? Yes. Was I able to kill people right after dinging 50 with my recruit set and 3 BM pieces bought for saved comms? Yes. Was some of them Battlemasters? Yes they were. I dont see a problem. My set boni is 15sec cd on undying rage and 5m range on execute. It is a worthwile trade, especially considering really low amount of surge on this set. 15% crit chance on 1 ability against something around 8% crit damage on everything? I take surge any day of the week;) (of course it depends on amount of surge you have already). Well, I recently joined a Voidstar in progress. Complete rofl stomp, enemy was farming 2 of us under our spawn. I got my 1 medal (2,5k hit) just fine, got 40 few comms for this 3 or 4 minutes (and I play dps, tank could just guard the other player for 3 quick medals for example). I remind you - 2v8. If you are not getting a single medal, then there was NO contribution on your side. You shoud not be rewarded then.
  16. Actualy they do. You can for example pass the ball when rooted. With roots as part of resolve system, any half-competent JK/SW will score in huttball in around 10 seconds after getting hiw resolve filled. Only thing that may stop my marauder from doing that are roots. White resolve - leap to enemy nearest to your goal line - predation (carnage spec) - undying rage when in fire/heavily focus fired - score. Take 2 of me, repeat the process overy minute. Game over after 6 minutes. Boring. BW knows pretty well what are they doing with resolve system I am afraid.
  17. If you wear your old cent/champ set against new BM instead of recruit then I know source of your opinion about gear discrepancy. Sure, stats on recruit are pretty weak, but it is around 900 expertise. Old champ has how much? Around 600? New BM - around 1200. Which exactly set bonus can outweight 300+ expertise? I even will go 1 step further - I put my BM mods into orange crit crafted gear and add augments to get about 700 more hp and 100+ surge instead of my set boni. 300 expertise is uncomparable to that.

Recruit set is in 10% range from BM set (even closer, because BM has a lot of accuracy, I personaly will loose a lot of surge by getting BM instead of recruit, I am going to compensate this with augments;) ) I said that you can get your BM gear without winning a single match now. You only need to get 1 medal (preferably more). You cant get 1 medal? Seriously? It is not so hard. Before 1.2 you had to win to get BM (yea, you could buy BM comms for 1000/1000, but it was like 6-8 times more expensive). You will with time decrease gear discrepancy, because you will get your BM stuff easily (even losing everything). What will not decrease is skill/communication discrepancy. Of course, there is this abnormal idea to call some friends, use voice communication and queue as premade yourself...
  19. This is a point where you lost all creditibility. Currently, if you just get 1-3 medals you still get 50+ comms for a lost game. If you are so roflstomped, it will take how long? 5 minutes/match? You can buy BM gear by losing every single match you are in. Before 1.2, you had to win games. Now it is not necessary. In 2-3 weeks everyone and their mother will be in full BM sets. Difference between BM and WH is how big? 1,76% from expertise, some small amount of main stat/end and different secondary stat distribution. As a whole, maybe 5% difference, not more. If you are losing every single wz you play, it is not because opponents are better geared. They are just better than you and your team. Sad but true. Only with introduction of cross-server queues you have a chance to avoid them and play people on your skill level, but in the mean time, you can get full BM set by straight up losing. Youst get your medals. It was never easier than now.

Do you know that annihilation marauders are designed to be healer - killers? 6sec interrupt, no min range 12sec CD charge (another interrupt), 2CC than can be used *** interrupts, good damage and respectable self healing. They were able to crush every healer BEFORE 1.2. Patch didnt changed anything in that regard (anni dont have time for full ravage anyway). 1.2 nerfed anninhilation by removing 100% damage reduction force camo and taking away great 80% run speed during predation talent, but those 2 changes are not affecting healer-killing potential. Against good anni marauder you would be dead before 1.2 and you are dead now. Cant see any difference.
  21. Oh, so how long immunity you would like to have? Half an hour? Difference between 8 and 12 is 50%. Quite a substantial one.
  22. 2x 8 sec mez = 2000 resolve, which mean 20 seconds of immunity. After second mezz you are left with 12 sec immunity, not 8. I am not going to comment rest of your post, because it was the only part I was actualy able to understand.
  23. It is interesting..some people now say that operatives are weak now, some other post videos like this one: Poster claims it is post 1.2. Taking both opinions into consideration I guess that operatives are balanced now;)
