    I know that it is difficult, but those calculations (especially War Hero ones) are essentialy worthless without taking dailies/weeklies into consideration. If you are an average player with 50% win rate, playing 6 games/day (or as long as needed to win daily;)), than you get about lets say 600 WZ comms for playing (I think your average/WZ is a bit to high assuming 50% win rate) + 99 WZ comms + 99 ranked WZ comms, so almost 400 WZ comms equivalent, which in turn speeds up process of getting war hero gear for about 60% (+weekly as a bonus;)). Situatuation changes with your win/loss ratio, amount of WZ/day etc, but assuming 13 hours per WZ piece while totaly ignoring dailies/weeklies is not correct IMO.

  3. Yea, and since there is more imps than pubs, then statisticaly speaking there is highest chance of bad players on imp side. In 8v8 warzone there is always balance, with exception of servers with so low pop that they cant support even 1 full 8 man pary. My server is imp - heavy, but republic wins a lot of warzones. Why? Because those who stayed republic and do pvp are good, determined players, mostly from 2 guilds, so often either in premade or able to communicate well. Imps on the other side are bunch of ranodms very often and I consider warzones agains other imps easier than warzones against republic. TL DR amount of good players is not dependant on population proportion.

  5. Hmm..you were beaten by half of enemy team for 20 seconds straight (and people complain that TTK is to short now lol). This mean there was at least 1 your teamate around (healer that kept you alive for so long). With white resolve you were just rooted/snared so you were able to use your abilities. Your team mate decided to not position himself correctly or you decided to not pass ball to him. Then you come here and complain about resolve while documenting your obvious lack of team work and/or skills. Good job.
  6. What you do not understand is resolve, CC, damage and basicaly everything in SW TOR is not balanced around 1v1. It is even not balanced around your average PUG (ie. bunch of solo players without any cooperation). It is balanced around party where tanks switch guards to focused targets and taunt enemies, where healers cleanse roots/slows/mezzes, where dps remember they have cleanse too and when they should use it etc. Guy was jumped by scoundrel from stealth and killed in 6 seconds (this is how long scoundrels stunlock last now). Did you check gear disparity between them? Isnt this jugg in centrurion mostly and scoundrel in full BM? Especially if video is made post 1.2 patch? What exactly do you expect in such situation, win? This jugg would die regardless of stunlock - if somebody kills you in 4 GCD then you have no chance whatsoever. If you have 16k hp, heavy armor and 1100 expertise, no class in game can single handly take you down to 10% in 4-5 GCD (especially if 2 of those GCD are CCs). No way. Of course, it is sometimes hard to notice gunslinger/commando pounding on you from distance...

    Reaping out mods from 1 BM piece is around 110k credits, from weapon almost 150k credits. 4 pieces - around 500k:)

Juggs - 1 ability with 10-30m range (2 to be honest, but you cannot charge while rooted;)) 3 inherent abilities with 0-10m range. 2 abilities you can spec to with 0-10m range (maybe 1, because I dont think you can use obliterate while rooted, can be wrong thou). On top of that, ability to generate rage without hitting target. And ofc taunts as an added bonus. "I am useless if you are not standing next to me". Well, you maybe are. Juggs are not. 1. I already told you that I was mistaken and trooper mirror of aoe stun is neural surge, not carbonize. It is an aoe stun. 2. Awe cause people rolling on the floor, intimidating roar has different animation. Anything else you missundestood/you are not willing to spend 5 minutes using google to check?

    IMO, buy recruit. Getting BM gear will be much easier and much more pleasant eperience then (you dont even want to know what BM geared char can do to zero expertise target;)). Then get your nice looking orange chest, legs and head, craft augmented versions and put mods from your BM stuff inside. Keep BM gloves and boots - first tier of marauders set is great I think and you cant get crit crafted non-bm boots or gloves (or I and anyone on my server dont know how to do this;)) This way you will have unique look, boost to stats and you will loose only 5m range on dispatch - nothing big.

  12. Sorc can have roots on their knockbacks or as top tier talent in madness tree. Anyway, as it was offcialy stated - roots and snares are part of the kiting game and thus are not affected by resolve. Your (guardians) functionality in 4-10m range is not so bad, you have 2 ranged damage skills and ability to generate focus without hitting anything. You can spec to have another 10m range skill + you have 10-30m range attack. Because there is virtually not a single class unable to fight while rooted or to defend themselves (by defensive CD, medpacks etc), roots are not part of resolve.
  13. Actually, most roots in game belongs to jedi knights/sith warriors. Force leap for everyone and 2 additional 3 sec roots for combat/carnage spec for sent/marauder - no other class have access to 3 roots. Also - official statement of devs about roots, snares and resolve - link is in my sig.
  14. And trolling is trolling... Both sith warriors and jedi knight have 6 sec mez. I was mistaken on skill name (used memory instead of this: http://www.torhead.com/ability/alu0sVd/neural-surge Conspiracy theories and tinfoil hats are not good arguments in any discussion.
  15. Your points 1 and 4 do not work with each other well. Either you recognize that your connection is not a bug or you state it is a bug. Make up your mind please. Sure, your spells have 100% accuracy. Point is, everyone has 5% defense and inq/consluars have 10%. As long as you dont have 110% accuracy on force attacks you may miss. It is harder to notice on damage-only spell, becazuse seriously, do you always pay attention to numbers popping on your oppontes head? And not-working CC spell is easy to spot;) About agreeing on disagreeing - no problem on my part:)
  16. 1. What bugs? 2. White resolve diminishing immidiately is a mechanizm that encourages wise use of CC breaker and is a part of balancing of immunity timer against type CC used. 3. "Resists" you see are an effect of wide-spreaded myth that accuracy is useless in pvp. You can miss/be paried/dodged/reflected on CC abilities and it happens. Why it should not? 4. You are getting stunned with white resolve? Video please. I have 34 pages long thread where I asked for such proof, didnt get a single link. Your connection problems are not resolve bugs.

The reason why people scream about being stunlocked is that they rolled current FOTM sent/marauder and they are leaping alone into 1v4 situations because they think they are invicible (because they read on forum that marauders/sents are OP), then they get stunned, after that rooted (and ofc knowing difference between root and stun is way below their dignity), focus fired and then killed. This really is not funny anymore - same "I was stunned for 20 seconds straight and my resolve last like 5 seconds" nonsence over and over again. No knowledge about resolve, minimal knowledge about game, classes and their abilities, only the same old trolling over and over....
  19. Yea, like the guy above, who never seen white resolve for more than 8-10 sec when it is impossible to white bar to last less than 12... There will be NEVER DR system that treats all the CCs against the sime timer - they tried it already in this other big MMO - this leads to just trowing away all CCs. About your made up story - resolve (before turining white) starts to drop after CC ends, so lenght of your mezz is irrelevant. Where you mezzed him, under turret on the other side so he run for 25 seconds for you to mez him again whithout giving him white resolve before second mez so he could actualy be stunned by this additional talent? I could believe in that if one of you was operative, but since you said 2 assasins.... And best part - 2 madness specced assasins in 1 party (ie. x/x/31 to get this root talent)? You really want anyone to believe that?
  20. Roots do not affect resolve, knockbacks give 400 points. You would not reach immunity in yor example. Resolve bar last 12 sec minimum, 25 sec theoretical maximum, around 20 sec on average. Get your facts straight.

Yea, with diminishing returns you would be mezzed for 8 sec, then mezzed for 4 sec, then mezzed for 2 sec, then stunned for 4 sec, then stunned for 2 sec, then stunned for 1 sec, then rooted for 5 sec, then rooted for 2 sec, then your DR for mezz would be over and we can start from the beginning! That would be REAL fun!!! Seriously people, you dont know what you are asking for... PS. You lie - after mezz nr 1 you have to wait 25 seconds before you can use whirwind without filling his resolve, and white resolve protects from stun if you break talented WW with damage. I tested that, I know how it works and I know you just made up this story. Go troll somewhere else. PS2. To make your story even remotely possbile you should have used some other class than assasin as example-only sin spec that has any roots is madness, and they have 2 sec root on a long CD, you cant chain-root anyone with that.
  22. You can start buying ranked WZ comms at lev 40. Dont tell me you have 4000 ranked wz comms (since ranked weapon cost 3600, I am certain you can have at least 4000 of them) and 2000 comms before lev 50. 4000 ranked = 12 000 normal ones. Around 120 warzones, maybe more depending on your win rate. If you manage to gather that, you can be half (or even a bit over half if you will avoid most expensive pieces) BM before you even step into lev 50 warzone. Rest recruit and difference between you and full BM will be like 3-5%. On my server there is 1 guy I am aware of who is queuing for WZ in lev 40 blues, he bought himself BM gun or 2 now. I can 3-shot him if there is no healer backing him up and I am only half BM/half recruit.
  23. I just love how you people work hard to prove you have no idea about resolve, invalidating your own complains and arguments... Resolve before turning white starts to drop only after CC ends. Resolve after turning white starts diminish immidiately. Amount of time when you have white resolve depends on how many points you had before being hit by last CC and how many points last CC was worth. It is designed this way to make wise use of CC breaker more rewarding. Good advice - find out how something is working before you complain on the forum, it will make you look less trollish.
