  1. Yeah, the only problem is that damn stationary moment in order to cast CB/FA. I would love to gather some knowledge on assault actually (yes yes, I know, Vanguards do it better).
  2. As P-tech/Van you can deal a lot of damage and still be tanky ;o It's more about abilities than gear. The mechanics of shield/defenses didn't change, it's still the same old crap.
  3. Wow, just wow. Dear OP, no offense or anything, I don't think you're stupid/moron but...Storyline in this game is...So...Easy. They literally hold your hand through the whole game. No wonder people complain about PvP (Which is not competetive at all, go play DaOC and see what I'm talking about) if they can't beat the story mode. Anyways. I don't know...Gear your companions/yourself? Level up on warzones/space battles and come back later? Use your abilities to the maximum? People said what had to be said I suppose.
  4. I would never take a commando to my premade. It's too easy to shut him/her down. Even if you're the best player ever. You have no tools, simple. Sniper/Slinger on the other is much more promising, but you need a skilled, capable player behind it. In the end though, melee trains rule.
  5. Or, if you actually care about the performance and strength of your premade, reroll scoundrel or sage.
  6. They do. They need to cast charged bolts/FA for HiB. Assault is garbage for commandos, it works 1000x times better for Vanguard/Powertech. And about "monkey spamming"....They could nerf Grav Round by another 50% and people would still "spam it", because it's tied to many crucial abilities and procs.

  9. +100000000000 to this post. No one ever denied that KCs are strong in duels but tell me...So what they are? They don't bring as much to the team as Guardian (for tank part) nor Sentinels (For dps part). Tell me, are we talking about ganking half-asleep people on Lolum here or competetive *group* gameplay? As Japanese people say: Notodisushytuuagainu.

  14. Yes but you're a power hoe. Since my guild left this game I tend to pug more so I'm sitting at 650 dmg bonus, which was the price I had to pay to increase my defenses.

  16. Good boy ;o Exactly my point. We are jack of all trades (At least as KC), which works well in 1 vs 1 or pug enviroment, but for group play you want specialists. That's how it is and always will be in every MMO. About the FOTM part....Nah, I kinda like shadow where it is (granted I play KC 90% of the time, infil and balance could use some love deifnitely. My point is - Shadow is playable.) and I highly doubt they'll give us some flashy CC/better defensive cooldowns anytime soon. I don't think they have any idea how to design this class. It's some sort of weird combination between stealthing tank (da***) with pretty unreliable self-heals (Okay?), bad survavibility and okayish damage+CC. Balance is stealthy "semi-kiter"/skirmisher type with mixed abilities' ranges. Infil is the closest to typical rogue archetype (And when I rolled shadow that's how I imagined it - A freaking WAR:AoR witch elf) with laughable survavibility and backloaded melee burst. Note that I'am doing well on my Shadow and I wouldn't mind if they touch it or not (eventhough changes are needed) as a experienced PvP player I'll adapt to anything. It doesn't change the fact though, that they could sit down and think for a while, what the hell have they done to this class ;]

  18. Before you slur all over our "amazing utility", try playing guardian first. Then come back here mate, realizing how wrong you've been. ;] Shadow is an amazing 1 vs 1 class and...That's it. For group play there are better dps and better tank classes, period.

  20. You want power for certain situations. Like for example when you're specced KC and rely quite heavily on autocrits, you don't need to boost your critical rate that much.
  21. +1 If you want proper dps, there is nothing better than sentinel in competetive premade.
  22. it doesn't count but who cares about pretty numbers, it's an amazing ability as it is ;]
