  1. According to Fight you are over exagerating. I have the "New" battlemaster with the 100 expertise on it, War Lord boots, Gloves, and Weapon and still get face ***** by smash........
  2. /shrug I assumed when I said about, around, or average that you would understand I was not using exact examples. I was wrong on the timline of events when it came to 1.2 and 1.2c and for that I apologized. I am tired of the pissing contest and trying to figure out whos dad can beat up who. I wanted to convey my thoughts as to why the Commando was a waste of space. I hoped BW during there tireless effort to fine people using profanity and telling people they suck they might take the 30 seconds to read yet 1 more post as to why the commando class sucks.
  3. You are still shadowing the fact that a commando is a waste of space in an operation. I know this and I have played a commando since day 1. How do you not understand this?

  5. Like usual someone is missing the point, but thats ok . You see Mr. Iknoweverythingthereistoknowaboutcommandos the point of the post was not to be 100000% specific. The point of the poste was for simple reasons really. 1) Most of the skills that we have other class's have and, and usuallly its a better version 2) If another class has some of our same skill sets, plus do more damage, then there is no reason to have a commando in raid. 3) In no way was I asking you or someone else question's. I know and Knew everything that you "answered" on the forum. However its ok, you got to show your arse a bit and it satisfied you. Do I really really really really really really really really need to break everything down for you. It seems that the 3-4 people before managed to understand the train of thought, however it seems the train didnt stop at your station.
  6. We all know that Bioware reads these forums, if not only to scan So Bioware the question is what is the reason for having Commandos in the game? PvE - Operations Do we bring DPS to the raid? -- No. Compared to gunslingers, sentinels, and shadows we are always towards the bottome of the damage output. -- If we spec for Gunnery we can not go full bore all out on dps since we will be so depleted by mid swing we will be casting hammer shot for 2 min. -- If we spec Assault its twice as bad with a lot less dmg output. Can we bring AOE dps the raid? -- Sure. If by AOE dps you mean Mortar Volley on a long recast timer and a very tiney aoe bubble, or Pulse cannon that has a small cone and a hefty ammo cost and it requires you to stick your body inside the mobs just so u can hope to hit 2 or 3, or is it Hail of Bolts that has a large ammo cost and a small aoe bubble. ------Force in Balance hits harder than mortar volley, half the recast timer, and gives power back plus heals the shadow. That is just one example of a far superior ability. Is it our amazing Grav Round Debuff? -- Well it could be but a Gaurdian brings a similar debuff to the raid, its insta cast, and it feeds the guardian power. -- Grav Round was nerfed, which I 100% agreed with from the PvP standpoint. However you nerfed Grav Round and doubled the cost of it, and to top it all off we have no choice but to cast it. Everything proc's off Grav Round. So Bioware what is the point of bringing a Commando to the operation?? PvP Grav Round -- Got kicked in the teeth now does about 1k less dmg. Makes sense and it stops all the grav round spammers, you know who u are. Demolition Round -- 1.2 was supposed to increase Damage to Demolition Round by 10%. For 24 Hours Demolition Round did 10% more dmg and you did an emergency nerf taking it back to pre 1.2. WHY?? Everybody and there brother is doing Force Sweeps for 6k. Force Leap -- Force Sweep 6k booooom done. Commando Demo round to hit 6k Stop moving, Stand in Place, locate target, Grav Round Grav Round Grav Round Demo Round. During this time the opponent can force sprint away, Stealth, LOS us (thats line of sight btw) stun us, and everyones favorite interupt us. So again ............. One of you have the "______________" to asnwer the question
  7. I honestly hope that most of you understand that Grav Round had to be nerfed. Other than Inquisitors Commando's were the easiest 1 button class in the game. Hell there was a mock video of a guy with all 4 hotbars open and nothing but Tracer Missle in each spot. As a commando I was embarrassed to play the class and being put into the same category as 90% of the players that play the class. To everyone upset about the class you need to do as follows: 1) Fix your gear. You are not going to do will with the gear that Bioware put on the merchants. Accuracy doesnt do a damn thing yet everything has it on there. Get rid of it. Spend your hard earned money on Oranged (augmented) gear and mod it out. 2) Fix your casting order since you are probably still spamming Grav Round thinking thats how u win. 3) Get rid of the tunnel Vision. Your not going to grav round people to death so dont stand there hoping to grav round someone to death. 4) Fix your gear. I am saying this again because it is the single most important thing you can do. Whether its Assault spec or Gunner you need to min max your toon. If you dont know what that means its probably why u are failing.
  8. I scanned through some of your posts and noticed mentioning of your min / max dps of Demo Round. I am wondering if maybe you are doing something wrong. Naturally if you hit Demo Round everytime it is up and on targets that have no "grav round vortex" debuffs it wont do anything. Pre 1.2 I was able to get Demo Round to hit for 4700 at the very max. That was my highest hit. Average hit was 3500-3800. The only time I would hit for around 2k was when I just wanted to finish someone off and not care about the high hit After 1.2c I my highest hit is 4200. Every match I get at the least 2-3 4k hits. Average hit is 2800-3k even. So not only did they nerf Grav Round by 10% when calculated out over crits and surge is about a 500-1k hit but they also nerfd Demo Round even though they said they were increasing the dmg by 10%
  9. then your not playing against someone who knows assault spec, knows how to pvp, and knows how to los. Bottom line is Gunnery gets shut down. Hard. Interupt whether u want to admit it or not greatly effects your casting order and routine. Los screws you since verything is 2 sec cast. Assault is almost all insta cast
  10. Assault spec is great. You are not planted to the ground like you are with gunnery. The problem is most people in assault spec want to spam something becuase they just came from gunnery, in other words they are used to spamming grav round. -assault lets u run and gun and use LOS to kill people - you cant be shut down from an interupt like u can with grav round. - its actually a better 1v1 spec since u are not having to stand there and be a free target the only thing i wish they would do is change the plastique to an aoe..... especially since it shares the timer with the grenade

  12. Personally I dont think they have enough tools. I mean come on look at the bigger picture. A "ward" that mitigates 2 hits at the least, 150% run speed for when things get thick, an interupt, a stun, a force lift, a mez, there maine attack actually regens there power and not uses power, an AOE that hits for 4-5k on insta cast and is almost always up, and I feel like i missed something. However there is no way this is enough. What they need is an insta cast AOE mezz with a 50 meter radius. How Biowared missed giving them this ability is on me. How can they possibly be effective without an AOE unbreakable mezz with a 1 minute duration.........
  13. you really honestly beleive that spamming grav round over and over and over is a good idea.......... combined full auto does more dmg than grav round, demo does more dmg than grav round, high impact bolt does more than grav round. The issue is there are to many tools that think "if i spam grav round i can kill atleast 1 person before I run outta power or die, but hey I am L33T because I killed someone.
  14. The class is not designed to be played by spamming tracer missile. It is there to supplement the other skills that the class has. The commando for example you hit Grav Round till full auto procs and thats 33% more damage. 3 Grav Rounds and Demo Round, then 2 more Grav Round for Impact Bolt. If you are standing there spamming Grav Round then you are not playing the class at all. Really you shouldn't use grav round or tracer missile more than 50% of the match. Other wise you look like that ******* that gets interupted mid cast or tracer/grav and literally has no idea what to do. So you back peddle for 6 seconds not even taking the time to hammer shot until you can tracer/grav again.

    Im not going to say any 1 class is OP or not, however stop to look at what is relevent. 1) Most of the IMP side is playing a Sorcerer. There has to be a reason doesnt there? Every game is the same. The strongest class gets found and the "herd" follows suit and play's said class. This case it is the Inquisitor. Is it OP, no idea. 2) Watch the end game stats. I dont see any other class with the ability to do 2-300k dmg and still do 150k heals. Thats a lot of healing for a class that is not spec'd into heals. I can understand if a class is Heal spec'd, since our guild leader is a Heals Sage and he can do up to 700k heals as a Battlemaster. However his dmg is almost nill. I play a Commando in a very reputable guild on Canderous Ordo and for the most part dont really have to many issues until you see 3-4 Inquisitors in a single warzone. At that point its just over. You simply cannot do enough dmg to take them down. Again, common sense will tell you there is a reason Most of the game plays an Inquisitor. Is it OP ? Is it the strongest class for PvP??
