  2. On the other hand, it's not like there is a high level of competence on PvP Plenty of scrubs to roll with any spec of any class, gunnery commando included.
  3. The biggest problem is that shield does not mitigate "yellow damage" (force + tech attacks) and it doesn't mitigate crits. Also, with new expertise changes you get more benefit from stacking dps stats. Me and my premade melt assassin tanks (even the ones stacking def stats) with ease. Juggernauts are more problematic, but mostly due to their abilities (40% red dmg for example or minor self heal), not passive mitigation.

  7. I have to laugh at people saying "I did 600K in Voidstar, zomgz!". What part of this dmg was a burst dmg. What part of this dmg was a filler dmg. It's easy to generate numbers if yo uspread dots. In my premade, dps sages and commandos are considered a liability. Of course you can still steamroll scrubs.
  8. *Outheal* the dmg? That's some bad competition you have on your server ;o Pretty much. People in survivor's are gutted even further, considering how bad defensive stats are in PvP.

  10. PvP wise: HS still increases the dmg of TTK. ST is effective always, even if you hit 1 target. Let 1.3 be introduced and then judge. They re nerfing burst in general = less dmg received in total. So maybe you won't even notice the diffrence in survavibility. Maybe you will. ST got actually buffed as it won't break CC now unless its your priority target. Nerfed healing from TTK is negligible. So is nerfed healing from Combat Technique. It helps but not so much as... ...Armor value. Bottom line - Give it some time and see how it goes. I'll start by using my old 31/1/9. Don't get me wrong though, FiB is an amazing ability.
  11. Nice analysis. 1. I prefer the telekinetic throw over insta-force lift. Do you? Why or why not? I used to prefer TTK over instant force lift for most of the time. However, with upcoming nerf and change to tank's aoe abilities (some of them won't break CC anymore, unless CC'ed person is a primary target) I think I'll stick to 23/1/17. Also, they're nerfing adrenals and whatnot, so no more 2K+ ticks from TTK. 2. If anyone has tried or will try this spec: How did you feel about force regen with double strike. Was it do-able for you? Without double strike did you notice improvements in force-regen and quality of life? Well I was never a DS spammer in a first place. Usually, if it doesn't place PA with 1 use I'm all like "<shrug> well, f*** it." Bottom line, I use DS but scarcely. 3. How comfortable are you with the assessment time aspect? Do you find it similar to other builds and even classes? Do you feel more challenged playing this build? It's something in between. FiB is great but so is ST. Tbh can't say much until new patch hits. In 1.3 insta force lift will be even better, it's hard to give it up. 4. Burst - potential problems, opportunities? We will have general burst problems in 1.3. As for this build, it's more of less classic KC when it comes to burst setup. It's actually better for that purpose, cause FiB hits harder than ST. 5. Slow time verses FiB. Which do YOU think is better? Do you like the additional self-heal potential of FiB verses the reduced AoE potential? Which do you prefer? Ok, so, for the most part I prefered ST due to almost non-stop AoE slow and dmg reduction. Serves your team well. FiB on the other hand is invaluable when you want to quickly detect some stealthers who are far away from you or when you want to interrupt some bomb planting or whatnot. Matter of preference, but since I'll probably be using 23/1/17, I'll run with FiB unavoidably. The healing part of FiB is negligible. It hit's up to 3 targets, thats TOTAL of 540 returned HP if you have 18000....And if you actually hit 3 people with it.

  17. Actually, nothing will really change with Kinetic playstyle, they didn't encourage diffrent rotations or anything. This is still going to be good, old kinetic, only worse. Imo.

  22. Sentinel's damage is not an issue in my eyes. I mean they are MDPS, fine, they should be tearing people apart, why not. Their defensive cooldowns however...
  23. What do you mean they didn't touch them? They buffed them slightly I think the message is clear "Kinetics, always choose stalker set. Yes yes, we know, it's not itemized perfectly...But pick it anyways and grind the balls out of yourself to get the right enhancements and mods. Oh and survivors?....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA"
