    They need to get back to basics. If your class is tank you are 100% tank. If you are 50% tank and 50% DPS, then you shiuld only do 50% of a pure DPS damage and only be worth 50% of a pure tank. Hybrids classes in this game have far too much utility in each characteristic then they should have. This leaves no reason to be a pure class of anything. Hybrids should be as basically as useless as a red mage.

    Once you see the opposing teams comp and see your comp, you know right away (99% of the time) who is gonna win. The only down side to all those healers (had 4 in a WZ last night) is that they have no DPS. The match was a virtual pillow fight with almost nobody dieing for 15 minutes.

    The last boost to the pure DPS class of gunslinger helped a bit, but a tank/dps hybrid class like Shadow will still give you better overall performance in a WZ. (not every time but on average over a lot of games). Sure a GS can occasionally run up a ton of kills and medals, but just as often they run into 5 tank comps that will shred them. and lock them down the entire WZ.

    If the marketing bozos continue to defy the logic of server merges they are all gonna be working for another game soon because the populations will hit a critical point of no return. Then merges will be unable to salvage what is left of the player base. They bite the bullet soon or they lose the whole enchilada. You would think the any members of the team that came from WarHammer would know this intimately.

    Yeah but the problem really gets magnified when you put it under the microscope that is a 3v3 arena setting. Then ll the imbalances rise up and the dev's go nuts trying to 'herd the cats'. Without arena's the larger scale PvP will mask a lot of imbalances.

    Which only works if you gaurantee balanced groups pop in the WZ's. Which is hard when a server is nothing but glo-stick rave classes.

    WoH has the distinct advantage of only having to balance for the arena, not balance for the arena AND for regular play. As long as you have a separate game for the arena it would work just as well. Once you try to make it so the players use the same character in both scenarios you have the failure that was WoW arenas.

    I saw some wierdness with my hotkeys for qucikslots after the last patch. I thought it was lag. Not sure though. Had the same issue though... hitting hot keys and nothing firing off.

    Now that I maxed an alt for cybertech I was beginning to wonder if I am at a disadvantage not having cybertech grenades in PvP. Is it worth dropping other maxed out crafting skills for? Is it a bigger advantgae then biotech?

    The only thing this patch did was add broken healer classes to the DO NOT TAKE list gunslingers are already on. 5% means nothing when you spend your time dead or running.

    No one is going to ban anyone over misunderstandings. I have never seen the rakghoul disease proc on ANYONE in a WZ. I have been doing nothing but WZ during the event for about 6-8 hours a day. I highly doubt anyone is getting the proc and I am not seeing it (during WZ's)

    Completely agree. Have to give them credit when they do something good so we can scream that much louder when they screw something up.
