Yes and the rate varies due to you being DEAD! It is a 15 minute match. How much damage can you do during the match?
If it is easier for you guys then simply take 15 times 60. that's the total seconds. Divide your damage by that and that is your DPS for the match.
If you got dead and had to respawn TOO BAD!!! you suck for dieing and your DPS goes lower for it.

Ummm you can't do math. Do you know what a fraction is? Do you understand the phrase 'damage per second'? Do you grasp that minutes are made up of seconds? Do you grasp that WZ's have a fixed number of minutes?

The OP claims that pure DPS is cheated because hybrid DPS out damage them in WZ's. This is an obvious truth.
Your failure to understand that doesn't change it. Dead damage classes don't do any damage. That is the crux of the argument. Pure DPS class unable to maintain pure DPS thourhgout a fixed timeframe vs hybrid tank/damage class that can stay alive and do MORe damage in the time frame. That is the complaint. Try to grasp it.
Damage per second might not equal Damage per match, but tank/dps hybrids consistently out DPSing pure DPs classes is a valid argument.
Anyone playing pure DPS is playing at a disadvantage.
I don't think they can implement cross server before they collapse all the dead servers into smaller chunks. Unless they are going to form really large battle groups with the intent of collapsing all the servers in each battlegroup so you never change battle groups.
I still think this is going to be problematic for them. They won't collapse the servers because of the bad press and implementing cross server before and after the collapse means double coding efforts ( I think).
Client server sync is a cognitive dissonance nightmare. Like Limibaens here states, you can't rely on what the pictures show, the text and symbols in the hot keys are more in sync. This is the big diff between this games engine and WoW's engine.
They have got to deal with the seerver populations before it is too late.
This blind hope that 1.2 will revive low pop is a pipe dream.
If the rated WZ's fall flat because they won't allow free transfers or merge servers they will effectively reduce this game to look like the WarHammer server selection screen within a year.
I think they are hoping to see server revivals with the release of 1.2, so that would forestall the server collapse needed to restore some populations.
I think that is wishful thinking.
Do you intend to just strike poses in this room or actually play? Cause this engine barely supports the number of people in a WZ. Oh nvm... you wold just DM with the same 8 people. Sounds... boring.
