  1. Circle strafers, find another game. In the meantime, I laugh at you as you try to run circles around others and end up dead.

Guess you will have to use skill instead of exploiting a game mechanic. Oops, maybe that is the problem

MFW you call circle strafing an exploit.:cool::cool::cool:

Isn't that something you would classify as "skill"? Or is skill to you just memorizing a "rotation" of skills and never deviating?

  2. I played very very high end PVE, very high end bg pvp (high warlord grind at 60) and a little bit of arenas in wow. I got my *** handed to me in arenas.

Arena matches were the most adrenaline filled activity i did in the 5 years I played besides killing m'uru/kj pre nerf. I wasn't even good at it. It was awesome.

I know there are balance issues etc etc etc but seriously, nothing can match rush of arenas.

edit: I take that back. Playing huttball premade vs premade is REALLY FREAKING COOL. Everyone complains but huttball is awesome when your team is working together calling plays, throwing on the run, dekeing the other team into going right and passing cross-court to an open guy for a 40 meter run. Put in more "sports" like this and it will be AWESOME. Encourage team play instead of just RTSing like civil war/voidstar (both of those are fun, but in a different way.

  3. as a dude that rolls in premades, no one will care. When you leave, we will either win faster or someone else will queue and come in. Sometimes you will get in our game multiple times.

    This won't do anything.

But for the millionth time: why are you complaining about team play in a team game? You can still go play KOTOR if you want solo play

  4. Gotta say this again:

Biochem doesn't give you ANY EXTRA STATS. The stims and adrenals are exactly the same (the tooltip is bugged) than the boe ones. The only upside is that you don't have to spend cash on them.

Armormech/Synthweaving are the only professions that are actually BETTER than the others. The BOP belt and bracers are a stat gain over rakata gear.

  5. They nerfed their melee dps two patches ago, and last patch nerfed Surge for everyone, which further reduced their dps as a crit-damage focused spec.

Yeah but they are still a very capable melee class, at least in pvp. In PVE I admittedly don't have a spot for dps operatives, but that's because I roll with an extra marauder. I would bring one if a quality one apped and I had the spot, but that's neither here nor there.

This is about the healing tree. Did they intend some trees not to be viable? Like launch wow and the feral druid tree? If that's the case, and the spec is just for lolz, i'm disappointed, but I understand. Just at least tell us! It's frustrating having a sorc be able to sing "anything you can do I can do better" with no explinatiuon as to why. I guess the answer is energy is infinite, but that's one of those things that work on paper but not in practice.

  6. The idea of an energy based healer is so awesome and different, I had such high hopes. My operative alt is sitting at 14 because it's the most ignored, underdeveloped class I've seen in a game in a long time. I want it to be good (only in pvp! I'm fine with sorcs owning pve, that's kinda how mmos have always worked, pve healing = priests/clerics which is what a sorc is), but it's just not in the cards.

    Q_Q

  7. I raid lead nightmare mode ops. Basically HAD to drop our operative healer in favor of a sorc healer. They just can't compete in PVE.

So here I am hoping that the operative is the pvp healer. Not every class can do every thing, and that's a good thing with a game with 8 classes.

Except the problem is operatives can't do pvp either. Or rather, they can, but when I zone in (powertech tank) with my sorcerer healer, we can tank half a voidstar team no problem for a long time by ourselves. I've been running with an operative healer lately and can't do anything close.

If they're not viable for PVE or PVP, what are they viable for? Just melee dps?

  8. i can't believe i'm going to agree with lab

but this is the most ridiculous thing i've ever heard.

Join a pvp server, wipe the republic guild trying to get pink crystal patterns so your guild can get them instead. ISN'T THAT THE REASON YOU JOIN A PVP SERVER?

Come on team, if you wanted to just slay dragons while the opposing faction watched, you would join a pve server.

Here's a question though: If you're on a PVE server and are pvp flagged while fighting a world boss, does the same thing apply?

  9. damn.

I mean I know sorc's are above and beyond the best, I was just hoping that op healers were good with a lot of utility for a trade off....bad players don't usually make use of utility/good classes that are hard to play are usually called bad (see: marauder).

Damn. Pretty upset that operatives seems to have no place in the game, time to roll a sorc.

edit: I mean, this is my alt. I have a BM powertech tank, so a class with a few extra headaches MIGHT be okay, i just really want some extra buttons. We shall see. Thanks for the input team

  10. Pretty basic question here. I'm trying to decide between Sorc and Operative. Everyone is a sorc, and looking at the trees/playing in pvp matches with them it'a because they're powerful as hell. I just don't know any operative healers, so I come here for info about em.

If sorcs are so powerful, do operatives have more utility? I've heard they are bad, is this the truth? I've only heard they were bad from people without operatives so....yeah.

TL;DR: I just want to pvp heal. Sorc or Op? I like utility.
