It's viable but shield rating does so little that it's not optimal. If you just dont want to respec cause you have a raid later no big deal, but you are pretty short offensively

Even choices among the board. Don't shoehorn me into a set because im a certain class or spec, but dont give me better gear because i keep beating people. I don't want to beat people because I outgear them. The reward for being good at pvp should not be removal of quality opponents.

Ideally I'd actually prefer these, but they come out of Rakata warrior chest/boots so I only have 2 of them.

progressing in pvp shouldn't give you a smaller amount of worthy opponents like gear currently does.

2 sorcs, 1 other healer (maybe op after a buff), 1 tank (powertech cause it's my team but a jugg would be fun), 2 maras 2 snipers.

BM gear is a joke on purpose
Playing a lot of PVP shouldn't reward you by taking away quality opponents. BM gear is more of a "HA! I'm BM!" than it is anything else. Those of you that want more pvp to = more stats should just play pve.

Not if it's only for ranked wz, you can't have real competition on one server since the population of good pvpers is so small. You really need it for ranked, but same sever pvp can still be kept to unranked.
Speak for yourself. My server has 4 or 5 premades rolling at a time. Cross queues might not be so bad since they limit it to a select group of servers (i think?) but the single server community will still take a hit.

I've recieved one piece of "gear" since the change and opening two bags a daily + weekly + 2+ extra bags daily (from commendations)
who cares though, because you get blessed with commendations now.

Cross server queuing kills server community. I wish it were never coming.

Would help a lot ... it happens way to often that people say east and mean west and so on
not something bioware needs to fix, something education needs to fix.
