I would say the best starting strategy is to see what the opposing side is doing and act accordingly: -if they zerg middle, go zerg their side -if they go for your side turret, go for middle and their turret -if your team is plenty of sorcs/sages, get your team to face their zerg Anyway, Alderaan is a no-brainer. The team with most healers wins, no real strategy needed.

The point OP is making is that people only "works" for gear. People should play for fun, and rewards should be cosmetic stuff ( mounts, titles, pets, social gear and stupid amounts of cash) That also would boost the 50 bracket, wich most people give up because they get destroyed like wet paper
