  2. I play a level 49 Juggernaut. When i was specced rage a couple levels ago, and stacking relics+pvp buff (72% surge geared) my full Shockwave Smash didnt even reach 4k+ on level 2x players. That was BEFORE surge nerf, so bring screenshots or **** Edit: ****= G T F O

Im amazed (and outraged at the same time) on how bad are several WZ´s teammates who cant realize the mechanics of specific WZs, specially: -Lured away from turrets/doors while someone ninja cap (stealth) -Not passing the ball when under 25% HP or passing the ball at all -Not even giving a damn sith about the ball carriers, being friendly or enemy -Charging alone to groups of opposing faction thinking they will accomplish something (regroup please) Seriously, its 2012 and people should have learn from other games the most simple mechanic of defending a node and poke cappers. I hate leaving WZs but sometimes my group dont even try. [/rant]
  4. I noticed this as well (Tomb of Freedom Nadd) on the evenings all we find are a mix of troopers+consulars with the occasional sentinel Even with such a devastating team, they lose miserably
  5. Not really, 1v1 sorcs are not that great... just you dont find them alone like never. Sins are harder 1v1
  6. Troopers are the same as Bounty Hunter. Commandos sacrifice mobility for damage
  7. Sorcs ofc: -You have better resource system than IA or BH -You have utility without needing to spec for it (sprints, knockbacks, shield, stuns etc) -Your heals are worth the cast when dps specced, unlike Merc ones The only tradeoff are the ugly looks
  8. In Rage PVP Ravage is awesome, because executing it in the right time prevents knockbacks and some cc. I read about people who skips the last tick of Ravage, thats bad to me. The last hit is the most damage so i always finish it (other skills are usually in CD anyways) This is my priority -Opener: Saber Throw, FCh. If boss knockbacks, repeat 1-Vicious Throw when possible 2-Sundering Assault 3-Shatter 4-Ravage 5-Impale 6-Force Scream 7-Smash(filler) 8-Force Choke (if soloing adds)
  9. With my Jugg i eat sorcs/sages 1v1. The problem is that they are never alone So my vote goes for Juggernaut. I can handle any class (given the same gear) and win the encounter. There are a couple classes able to vanish away, but that counts as a win in my book
  10. Yes, mercs have no interrupts other than talented Rocket Punch (knockback). But when all logics apply to "why mercs dont have an interrupt", you wonder why Sage/Sorc has a 8 sec, 30 METERS RANGE interrupt
  11. I am level 47 Vengeance spec, and Lt Pierce fits my needs
  12. As long as you are not outplayed or outgeared, Vengeance destroys almost every class 1v1. And its less squishy than Immortal. All specs of jugg are viable, just have different roles: Immortal: guard teammates, taunt, stunlock (charge+backhand+choke) Vengeance: pick a target, kill it, go to next one Rage: stay unnoticed within your pack and lolsmash Anyway if you are fresh 50, you will feel underperforming because of gear with any class, jugg is fine Edit: whatever spec you play, dont pretend you are a Mortal Strike warrior trying to solo like a hero. Never go alone to a battle, because no matter what class you are 2>1

  15. Level a Merc yourself and learn how wrong you are. Id trade TM/Power Shot any day for Flame Burst, but that´s just me
  16. Wise words from a true PvPer. Wake up guys, PvP always been about GRIEFING other players... make them suffer on their seats and rage like the german kid, its a reward itself. Thats why Minecraft became so popular. Its not about YOUR progression, but hinder other´s progression. "Conan! What is best in life?" Difference between DaoC and SWTOR: Daoc- PVP Based SWTOR-RPG Based Thats it folks, SWTOR is like Diablo2 (on a massive scale), where all you have to do is the story, leveling to 99 and get gear. You have no pvp other than duels there. Enjoy SWTOR for what it is (KOTOR 3 Multiplayer) and not a PvP field, while you wait for greener grass
  18. In other games it is for 3 things: 1-Hitting on the back negates the chance to block/parry/dodge incoming attacks 2-Certain casts requires your target to be in front of you. Getting on his back cancels opponent attacks 3-Certain attacks must be done on the backside Neither 1 and 2 are valid for SWTOR. Tank classes shield/parry no matter the position and hardcasting skills autoface targets. Bouncing babies tears are tasty here
  19. Those saying Pyro PT is better than Pyro Merc should take a deeper insight of Pyro merc. Fusion Missile is awesome and makes up for the loss of ArP% and elemental damage bonuses the PT has. To a non expertise geared character, FussionM+TD+ID with dmg buffs up means death or pray there is a healer on the neighborhood
