  1. What he mean was when you hit 50 there are other classes that will make your "awsomeness" less awsome. You become powerful which is true but every other class will have a lot of end game powers that will just make you cry and fustrating. You will be grinding gear to compete with them for awhile. Trust me, if your not 50 now you will understand when you get it. Definently possible to dominate at 50 but if you don't have a team to heal and guard you, your gonna get ganked 6 v 1. Trust me. Holding two lightsabers is like a flag for "please kill me" and they know it.
  2. That is so subjective. First off as a competitive Fighting Game player who uses an Arcade Stick over a fighting game pad, we in the community have this same debate, however there is no significant differences other than access to specific techniques. Let me elaborate. So in fighting games an Arcade Stick is considered the default natural way to play fighters, most fighting game players at high levels use these for all their games due to access to techniques they can't perform on a pad. Now today we have some pad players who run circles over some Stick players. In Contrast, the Naga is a lot like that Control Pad. It's easier to use and very responsive to difficult moves (Like shoryuken motions and 360 motions, fighting game junkies would know what im talking about). My point is that the Naga is simply a tool to do the job. Mastering a Naga over a Keyboard does not make you a bad player it's a matter of preference. Some like the keyboard, some like the gaming mice. You choose what you want to succeed. Our philosophy in the Fighting Game Community is that it's all about what happens on the screen, if you can't adjust to whats happening on the screen, it does'nt matter what you use to compete, you need to learn how to play the game, period. I use a Naga.
  3. I don't think you know exactly how hard it is for us to stay on the catwalks. If I don't have full resolve im almost always knocked back down after a force charge. having said that I do agree that the wz needs to adjust to level 50 game play, make it tougher.

The knockbacks are a real problem, perhaps the developers feel that because of force charage we can close the gap again. problem is that since resolve needs to actually be built, force charging back may result in his team mate doing another knockback, once again putting you at a disadvantage and force charge on cd. If you try to chase you get kited to death before you can get your rage and damage output going. this is most noticable on Huttball wz's where getting knocked down really hurts. Doesn't help that we can't force charge people in cover. Resolve is a bit fuzzy but it does work but you just got to know how to use it. The trick is to wait for the purple bar to fill up and turn white if your caught in a CC like a stun at the time it turns white, you hit your cc breaker, you have to use that moment to do all your damage without interuptin. this is how you beat people who spam cc's. The problem is not the stuns and knockbacks but the roots and snares. they are immune to Resolve so even if you nail the resolve game, snares and roots will keep you floored and unable to do anything. And since you have to be close to do damage they hurt. Range doesn't have this problem because they can still shoot while snared. I think marauders/sentinels need some sort of natural immunity to roots or snares via a buff or built into our existing buffs because if we ain't moving, we losing. Agents have the ability to resist interupts and force charges while in cover. I don't see a reason why we can't resis roots and snares in certain situations. So even if you know how to play the odds are really stacke againts you because we don't really have a "get out of jail" free card in most scenarios.
  5. Kiba, what about this thread that talks about building your Marauder (Annihlation Spec). It's interesting seeing his direction and guidance on the system but I find it near impossible cuz it involves grinding very hard to get PvE stuff to boost specific stats. it also did'nt get a sticky but it sounds interesting.   8. There is no kill trading but there are a lot of carebears that shout /say "Don't kill me I know so and so". And both reps and imps farm armaments all day togeather. I even got yelled at by my own IMP ally because I sparked an all out war on Ilum againts the republic because I disturbed their Armament farming. One time I got ganked by a fully geared BM while two imps just watched and did nothing, he did'nt attack the other guys. Really ticked me off. ******* PEACE IS A MUTHAFUGIN LIE!!!!!!

THIS ^^^^ I did everything I am suppose to do in Huttball reguarding resolve, as soon as it hit White I used my CC breaker, activated Predation full speed. and jetted, as SOON as I touched the empty firepit, I got rooted. No breaker full health, seconds later, I get burned, lost the ball, end of my hail mary. This happens more than once in the same Huttball match. They need to make this immune to ALL cc abilities, knockbacks, snares, whatever, no exceptions. Force players and teams to use CC smart and it will be a much interesting game each time.

Well to me it seems like your more upset about the overal state of the game than losing PvP warzone matches but using that as an excuse to quit Warzones early is cowardly, selfish, and above all detrimental to your factions cause. Instead of being an example of true dedication and strength, having gain 63 valor; something to look up to, you quit your warzone matches early like a coward and humiliate not just yourself but your whole faction/team. You demoralize the group and therefore tempt more to quit because all hope seems lost. Soon the team is outnumbered and the match is as good as over. Instead of sucking it up you abandon ship because you can't have it your way. You sir, make me sick. your the very reason why there is gonna be a penalty for leaving wz early, and for that im thankful. I hope they make it as harsh as possible. If it wades out losers like yourself from the game, and im sure me and many others won't miss you. For the record I do get mad at the game and get mad at losing cuz of the state of the game, but I stay in the game and play my hardest, I may seem hard on my team but im just pushing them to think and play smart. I know because stratagy works. When you lead by example, the right people follow. Maybe you should lead by example by being a leader and not a quitter.
  11. The problem with everones argument here is that you are playing within the system of the game. If you are allowed to roll greed OR need your not gonna get lets say, "banned" for doing something that ws intentionally in the game. So if a sith warrior rolls need for agent gear, no matter how mad you are at them, it's fair game. Because of this, your only solution is to group with people who are a part of a guild with set rules and boundaries in order to stay in that guild. This way you don't have to worry about "ninjas." If you roll with a non guilded group he/she has no boundaries he/she can do anything they want. Play with people you trust if it's a problem. You can also blacklist the player on that server as a Ninja, just let people know who they are and it should make him think twice about proper grouping ethics. One thing we do as groups is let folks know how the looting is gonna work and who has priorities and who has needs from the get go. This way if there is a conflict we can kick/boot people who are not cooperative. From that point we start the quest. Communication is everything, i've been in a ton of groups where people just don't talk/type at all. Talk to your people.
  12. Just so you know in the Development Q & A's these couple of weeks they mentioned that they are working on Server Transfers. It's just a matter of when so be patient we ARE getting it as the developers say.
  13. Bioware needs to play Champions Online. It's not a great MMO at it's meatiest but they can a learn a thing or two about UI custom configurations (Create a character code is gdlk too). Specifically speaking their tab targeting is gdlk you have like dozen different tab targeting options. You can select it to tab target center, center right, center left or simply the closest person or farthers person. Then you can choose the order from farthest to closest, then from left to right. So your tab-targeting works the way you want. It's actually a fun game it just does'nt have enough for hardcore and is too easy. PvP is great though due to no real restrictions on skill respecs (pay monlthy only) and selecting powers and it's free to play. Try it and play with their tab-targeting I think everyone should vouch for this system cuz it solves everyones problem reguarding tab targeting.
  14. This is probably how "a certain guild" which will remain nameless for now on the Thana Vesh server was doing us. It seemed like we always appeared with only 5 or 6 pe ople while they had a full crew. Now only were we outnumbered but we had 120 seconds to make a difference. Happens early in the morning usually in Warzones. I have not proof but when I heard of this exploit it was the only thing I could think of why their side always had numbers over us.
  15. The problem with Marauders and I've seen this argument in other post is that Marauders are at a major disadvantage on the battlefield because they don't fight on their terms. Troopers/BH: Knock backs, Stuns, Kites melee. Sloweed when you try to escape. Sorc/Sage: Knockbacks, Stuns, Cast/Kite Melee - Force pull when you try to escape. Agent/Smug: Stun/Stealth/Stun Im not familiar with Shadow and Assassins role as much but they seem to blend melee with Casting and still have more benifits then Marauders. Unless your fighting another Marauder your not fighting on your terms. Even Juggernauts have a force push that puts you at a disadvantage while they prepare for an attack. Most of the classes here also have meter at the start so they can start off with their most powerful alpha attack while marauders have to start with really weak energy building attacks and high costing attacks they have to wait for CD to keep rolling. Interfupted by consistant stuns that dont' fill resolve fast enough to make it worth using unleash. Take into consideration that Annihlation is the only spec that is reliable at all and the fact that ranged can do better dps than your class, have a really gimped melee dps that can turn from fun to sour every WZ match. I don't have any quams about PvE except you may get picked over ranged dps due to better abilities than you that keeps the group alive. Give us abilities that when available forces them to fight on our terms. Force Scream should mute abilitiy casting, intimidating roar should not be a wake on hit. These are only my opinions but this is what I assess as a marauder now before you start the lame 12p argument, when teamed with a strong viable team, obviously I shine, but that means im just pure support who adds to the damage, I can't make an impact enough to be a game changer, thats not fun. My only use is team bloodlust and Predation. Lame.
  16. man I got super lucky, found one by the crashed ship and in another they spawned in teh same spot 3 times. Found the last 3 in 3 minutes. Crazy.

  19. Personally I think it's wonky, it may need tweaking. kid you not I was thrown the ball and was wide open and dead center standing still doing nothing. My opponent was way outside the circle and he intercepts it from the outside ( I don't think he was trying). I just sat their wondering what the hell just happened. Another time I stood dead in front of the reciever and he still caught the ball anyways. Really trying to figure out whats what. And lastly an opposing team threw it to a person in deep coverage (Like 6 of us in the circle and he still caught it. So yeah it's buggy I think, maybe a little too random. Needs some tweaking so it's more predictable upon reaction.

    That is beside the point. Farming players in that fashion is griefing and in actuality it hurts your team than helps. If you and 5 other guys are running around Huttball chasing the easiest target, what is your other 3 pals doing? Farming medals is a distraction from the actual match and it needs to be changed because it's not fair that I work harder to get and obtain points for the team but not rewarded for it because I did'nt spend 10 minutes killing pugs. Imagine in football your on defense and as soon as they snap the ball everyone on the team charges the quarterback (not just the lineman) but does'nt cover the zone. QB passes to the reciever and he is wide open and free to score all because they wanted to score an easy sack. Now maybe they get him and maybe they don't, but stupid plays like that is gonna get your team a loss. Now who needs to l2p? How about l2p correctly. Point is Medals are a distraction to the main game and rather than reward for performance you reward for damage, basic stuff, you don't even have to have the least deaths just do enough damage and you look like a pro. Big deal. You did'nt win the game because you spent more time on easy targets instead of killing the ball carrier. But it's all good cuz you got all dat valor. Pfft.
  21. Medals should be rewarded to those who actually work to win the game. In it's current state it mostly rewards damage and healing at most but hardly rewards you for completing objective (I know defending counts as one but standing around doing nothing is hardly worth anything to me if no one is ATTACKING!!!). Also, it really bugs me that when our team wins I was the only one scoring in Huttball or defusing and planting bombs in voidstar but I don't get enough medals because I did'nt spend time running around farming medals via damage/healing? Thus I don't get MVP votes because I don't "LOOK" like I contributed. If Bioware rewards for completing objectives more than the basic brain dead stuff, then maybe pugs will focus on actually learning how to play the friggin warzones and maybe I won't get ganked by 5 people because im a squishy easy target to them.

  24. Interesting, I never thought that my buffs can't work with anyone other than my group (Which seems dumb but whatever.) Did'nt know there was resistance to cc's outside of resolve, i'd like to know what classes have that, the person I fought in my last case scenerio was a Guardian/Juggernaut.
  25. Ok so the freezing UI is fixed and so is the nasty mouse 5 button but an issue that seems to still be a problem is this. If your like me who combines mouse binds and keyboard functions to get the job done you may notice that if you hover your mouse over the ability trays you cannot use abilities bound to the mouse button. Give it a try. It usually messes up my rotation because I click on the abilities with the mouse but don't move the mouse from the tray then try to use the ability bound to the mouse buttons and it does'nt work at all. One possible reason for the problem is because since clicking and dragging items and abilities work on all 5 mouse buttons it disables the abilities bound to the mouse clicker when it's on the tray so the mouse ignores one job and does another. This could be fixed by allowing you to click bound abilities to the mouse while the tray is locked even if you hover over it. Hopefully the devs fix this because im not always looking where the mouse and it's mostly for clicking abilities and moving the camera.
