This is, in fact, incorrect. You can harvest any node in your line of sight no matter how far. The cursor does not need to be yellow. click on it and your companion will go over there eve if it's halfway across the map. I see people doign it all the time, and I do it.

Funny. that last post looks like it was made by a Harbinger person. I have toons on that server, and my guild is dead. The pop is there, but the troll factor is high and the juvenile factor is high. Amen. This. It's a huge disaster. Try doing almost any op where you have to be positioned in a particular grouping to do the fight... (Master/Blaster on Ravagers comes to mind) and then obliterate all the enemy circles by our overlapping team member circles. WHAT THE HECK WERE THEY THINKING??? Oh, yeah. Nevermind. They weren't. They don't actually play the game, you know. So, bioware, big stupid flaw this. Revert them back to the little icons. Make them purple, green, black whatever. They used to have servers for pacific/asia. Then they shut them down. If someone who was on those can weigh in as to why, that'd be great. But yeah, they used to.

And as for the 500 credits each for grade 10 mats, are you kidding me??? I wouldn't pay that much for a 5 credit mat. I can literally collect in one hour enough to last me 2 weeks or more, and it costs me an hour. I don't have to rotate through my toons every 10 minutes i can play when I'm done. And it costs less than 5 credits per. So if you want to pay 100 times what I do, by all means. Not my problem. That's why I gather my own. Because I won't pay those hyper inflated prices. Not ever. If other morons do, that's their problem. When I'm not actually playing, I'm living real life, not dialing in on my phone to craft. Again, I was not even talking about gtn. That's a different kettle of fish. But I'm trying to scavenge grade 10 scavenging mats so I can make mods, and enhancements for my multiple level 70s. 228's or 230s. And I don't want to pay 10,000 per mat. So I spend a bit of time, and then for a week, I'm set. Unless I am competing against farmers, who exist to do nothing else. When a companion is looking straight down at the floor, and the player is not visible, but the companion is, and then they disappear, then they reappear, ad nauseum, for hours on end, yeah. If the companion is looking straight down, and nobody should be able to be under the floor, then there's a problem. The companion looks where the player is. Also, using target of target, I can see who the companion is looking at, even though I cannot see them. The video is close, but there aren't as many. They are looking at the floor like that though.

Phone support can't help me with in game issues. But we're not supposed to say anything about cheaters here, and putting in tickets does nothing. HOW THE HECK CAN I GET BIOWARE'S ATTENTION????!!!! The cheating on Zakuul in the gathering areas is ridiculously bad. People (gold sellers) have figured out how to play and move outside the environment. I keep my companions at under 10 until I hit 50 or so... but that sucks for crafting. It does, however, keep them from being op while leveling. As for making everying easier for the disabled, I'm disabled and I don't like it. I want things the way they used to be. A challenge. I bought technology that helps me with my keyboarding skills. So I don't want the game in ez mode. I'm sure I'm not alone along "disabled" people. We aren't all the same, just saying.

I appreciate all the replies. I'll try doing the boss fights with an appropriate level character, tho that is difficult considering I leave coruscant 5 or 6 levels too high, if not a lot more. It's gotten to where we outlevel all content on our starter planets and it jsut gets worse and worse. I have a scoundrel who is still on Taris for story, who is level 62. Becasue I ran a few flashpoints and 1 raid. That's ridiculous. I would stop all this xp as soon as possible. But instead, they give us more. I have no idea how they will fix it so farming doesn't happen, and still satisfy regular players, when they keep increasing xp (the only cheap thing they can give away). I also don't seem to be able to get a devs attention no matter, and people are cheating their hearts out in other areas like Zakuul. Since most of their names have some verson of asdasd in them, I am sure they are gold sellers, but cheating as they are, without any action from bioware, is incomprehensible. after subbing since launch, and finding less and less in the way of rewards for any efford, I am not questioning why I would want to be loyal, when they aren't. Well, that went off topic. but it's like everyrhing else. They changed it supposedly to help us, and we get screwed but the gold farmers are still working out just fine. *sigh* They don't listen.

Love? ahahahaha There has not been a new event in years. It is extremely difficult to get beyond all the gatekeepers to let bioware know there is a problem. And nothing changes when you do. This is sad, because Bioware didnt' used to be this way.Now they are behind the corporate wall. I think the only way toget their attention would be to buy stock and show up at a stockholder's meeting. They sure listen to that.

What the title says. I haven't seen one in over 6 months. And I do heroics all the time. So where did they go?

AT random times, the mouse cursor just goes straight to the side, instantly or to the top. It's extremely disconcerting and if it happens in a difficult fight it can kill the entire group, because I dont' know where I was. Somteims, like right after launch of the game, clicking anywhere on the screen will instantly move the camera so I am facing straight up. This used to happen to all Razer users and then it was fixed. Now it's back, since 5.0 Can you guys (bioware/EA) please stop breaking previous fixes??? And fix this again? Thanks.

Last post, great tips. My sentinel beat her 2nd try. When you need to get away, remember every class has some sort of speed boost. Or troopers have hold the line. I don't know if it works in this fight but it works in nearly every other fight in the game. Gslingers have the one that keeps from getting knocked back too. Learn to use: Adrenals, stims etc. Be adequately geared, and repair your gear. You should have a repair droid by 55. Buy it. It's worth it. Level it to lvl 3 and you'll always have whatever crafting supplements you need, wherever you are. Use everything the game gives you. Respec for the best breakaway skills. You can respec your skill points to have 2 or 3 ways to clear debuffs. Most characters can. They're great for pvp, and they're great for this fight. If all else fails, respec completely. If you ever do any raiding, you'll want field respec anyway and learn to play other specs. I used the healing bubbles about 50% of the time, and kited her through them the other 50%. JK is a melee char so I did have to fight her inside that bubble. But they also have a speed buff. And I did NOT use Valkorian, ever. Or the other guy. Just a straight up fight. And yes, heroic moment. I've also beat her on heals, and that was easier. Always, always always repair your gear if you die more than 2 or 3 times. It erodes and dosn't protect you if you don't. Familiarize your self with all the ways the game gives you to help yourself. Now, all this is being for story mode. I hate to see this fight in master. That woudl be...ridiculous.

Ever since their mega-nerf, (after which they never explained, apologized or said a word) I have never gotten a single one. Only rep for a place I'm already Legend on. I actually quit playing for 8 months after that, I was so angry every time I logged in. There is no viable, reliable way to get those certs now. On top of that, I believe all the datacron decos have stopped dropping on planets, too. I haven't seen on in 6 months or more. Just love how they do that.

I am happy for you. And I won't call you priveleged. But some of us tried* to do what you did, and then we got struck ill (disabled) in the prime of life. Cannot work at all now. Poverty sucks, especially when it's forced on you, and perpetuated by greedy pharma who suck all your money if you ever get any. But I can still afford to sub to the game, so long as I have fun playing it. I don't pay for tv tho or anything else I don't really use.

Exactly. Healers don't need any more nerfs. If you can't kill one in pvp, you're not very good. We've been nerfed enough, so that pve has become a challenge. Granted, it used to be too easy. But it isn't since 4.0. All I can say is if you can't kill a healer, learn to play one so you know what they're doing. It will help you to know how to defeat what theyr'e doing.

I have gotten (regularly) purple mats from Rich missions. I rarely run any others. I do prefer the missions that you sometimes get from wealthy missions, one time drops. They give: regular mats, purple mats, and most often a companion gift and a schematic or another mission. I get them fairly frequently (the one time wealthy missions) slicing, even in my stronghold on the nodes you get from completing your personal conquest goal. LIke has already been said, raise your companions influence level. When leveling, if your new level only has moderate, instead of those, I go back one level and do the Rich missions. Next time I'll have more than moderate on the new level.

This has been an ongoing thing for this game. The removal of incentives to do content. They start well, then they remove chests, remove loot, remove any incentives for bothering. for the first time ina long time, I spent a few weeks this winter playing a single player game, just to be reminded what it was like to be REWARDED for what I was doing. I don't know what their idea is, but the removal of incentives to play...well, the consequences of that are self evident.
