  2. What is the deal here? There are 2 sets avail on Kia whatever his name is, and one is for Synthweaving with an Armormech set bonus, and the other is for Armormech with an armormech set bonus. Is one of these a misprint?? 2ndly, the First set for Synthweaving and the 2nd set for Synthweaving are BOTH Head, Chest and waist. What is that about? I go tthe first set, and it's head chest and waist. The 2nd set also says that. Does anyone proofread these descriptions? What am I actually buying??
  3. Gyromaniac, that's not how chance works. 5% chance is 5% every time. Not stacked by the number of tries. Statistics. If you buy 10 lottery tickets with a 1 in 500 million chance, you are not getting 5 in a 5 hundred million chances. You are getting 5 tries at 1 in 500 million. Much lower rate. There is no compensation for number of tries yes, I personally know people who have achieved the Gold, reusable medpacs. I am stuck at purple an d tossing a lot of mats out to try for the gold. Purple ones are good. Gold is the goal. Success is ... fleeting
  4. A. There is no such thing as an armortech. It's confusing when people do that. There is an armstech and an armormech. B. Armormech has made resistive armorings for a long time. Synthweaving makes the dps /heal one. Mod and enhancements are both made by cybertech now, and artifice doesn't. These changes predate my 2 year break by a long while, and I've been back 6 months So at least 3-4 years
  5. Everything with Turrets or Walkers is totally out of balance. I have complained directly and sent in bug reports. the number of issues that cause unplayable game areas, I'm beginning to want a free cartel coin grant, or a free month, or something. this is exactly why I unsubbed for 2 years. Now I'm back for 4 months and here we go again. What, Devs, don't you WANT customers???
  6. Parsing is usually a fools errand for healers. Dummies dotn' stand in stupid And your dummy isn't on a level gated area where you get bumped down. I have parses from 2014 (and i was okay) that are better than what I can do now. But my tank has 100k more health to restore. Medpacs heal for 26 to 4xk each now. But my healing hasn't gone up communsurate with the amount I am supposed to be replacing. it's stupid. Mathematically it is. I left for 2 years, I came back 3 months ago. I may just unsub again because this isn't fun. The crafting isn't fun. Conquest is no longer fun. It's all become a grind. The gear I get isn't for my class, no matter what spec I choose. My force users are getting barrels and my gunslingers are getting hilts. That goes way beyond not getting class gear. But my sage feels like 3.3 all over again. or 4.5
  7. When I came back 3 months ago, the Commander level system helped me gear up so I could raid with my guild. I have not gotten ANYTHING worth keeping from renown. It may as well not exist, it's just taking up room in my inventory. If I err, I might have gotten one thing, one time. Maybe. But it is so rare, as to be not worth notice. Renown? Why? Why bother? So many of these changes in 6.0 seem to be a real waste of time. Anyone ever heard the saying "if it isn't broken, don't fix it? Well, I believe the devs need this written on their walls. And if it IS broken, don't TELL US you are fixing it, and then fail to do anything. And then repeat the same fix in the next patch notes. God help me if you guys nerfed slicing (grade 11) again in 6.0.1 after the really hard nerf 75% if 6.0.a I have a real question. Who is working on this game? Where are they getting their direction from? Are you just using temps or something?
  8. If there were no security key vendor, the security key would still be worth it. 2 Stage authentication is way safer than password only.
  9. The "public service messages" heard on Republic Fleet randomly also sound very much lik e the same voice as the one for Lana Beniko. Accent changed, but otherwise, sounds like her.
  10. It is now Nov 9th, Most of what was patched "last week" (your next week) did not fix anything. Except your extraordinary nerf to slicing nodes on Onderon. That went swimmingly for you. I am trying to do this partciular fight, and last walker and friends took me out 3 or 4 times this morning. I gave up. I did this 3 times on other chars this summer before 6.0 went live with no difficulties. Yes, almost every character that gets to Kotfe is already 70 becasue they actually do content and the game overlevels us. What do you suggest we skip so that we can get there before? We will lose that story content by your own admissions when we skip it. Or we can skip everything and have decisions we don't want made for us. Or we can sit on our hands and not use our characters until YOU GUYS ACTUALLY FIX THIS! It seems you are ignoring yoru player base again. I unsubbed for 2 years last time, after another such disaster. For 2 months I was happy then 6.0 came out. Your patch didn't fix content. Maybe it should. Communication needs to be far superior. -such as a single mention of crafting in patch notes after a complete overhaul. PLEASE FIX THIS MY CHARS ARE STUCK UNTIL YOU DO.
  11. It's more like a dumpster fire with Santa Ana winds blowing it into the next block. And the next town. Bioware, this is STUPID. It is madness. You need to dial all the way back to 10.0 Why did you even institute this system? What was your point? To discourage 75% of the people 99% of the time?

Given the list of mats required to make one step up, and the number of steps to get tot he top, not to mention the amount of mats to just make an item once you know the best schematic; add this to the utterly ABSURD requrements for rare mats, and the low RE %, and BIOWARE WHAT THE BLAZES WERE YOU THINKING??? This isn't a credit sink. It's a RIP. Can't get enough greens Can't afford augments Not enough hours in a day to farm all this What ARE you thinking?? Of how much we're all going to hate this? This is RIDICULOUS. I do raid. I do conquest on multiple characters I do farm it doesn't matter, the requrements are STUPID. They just are. People won't be able to afford this stuff once I can finally make the better stuff. And they claim we crafters are ripping them. We're not. It's costing us a FORTUNE to get to the point where we can make a serviceable item. You guys really need to re-think the number of mats and the % of RE returns. For crafters (and augments don't drop, nor do Aug Kits or some other things) and a schematic for a tacital that uses 20 of those round mats you get from conquest (not couonting all the other things) ARE YOU MAD?? Play the way you want? AT what cost?

  14. From Patch Notes: "Characters who did not receive their Conquest rewards with Onslaught's launch will find them waiting in their inventory." Well, they were not. You do realize that there were certain goals and conquest threshholds we were all playing toward, then when Onslaught went live, the limits all changed. So all the people who earned conquest according to the limits that were in effect when we did it, were not compensated because you moved the goalposts. Then you said you'd make sure we got them. We didn't. You need to make sure the guild were credited with conquest at the old level too, for people to make conquest at all. I can come over and walk you through it if it's too complicated!

  16. Yes, and the Renowned Crate I got today for my Sentinel, was a Versatile Barrel 75. Why on earth can they at least see that I'm playing a lightsaber user and not give me barrels?

  18. First they got rid of class stats (strength, et. al) and made it all master. Because ppl couldn't understand. Then they got rid of multiple mats for the same crafting level because it was confusing then they put all the mats into a single node becuase ppl ... what? too complicated to look for shards vs crystals? They got rid of multiple trees. Then they got rid of advanced classes. You want them to maybe just give you one button, one attack and come over and click it for you too?
  19. Are these the same devs from 3.x and 4.x? Or did they hire new ppl who don't remember how things were? My point: there are only 2 NA servers anymore. There used to be.. a hundred? And we still had to wait if this becomes a grind, a job, just to do things, what, they think we like grinding? No. We don't. At least, most of us don't. I'm beginning to think politics will be more interesting.
  20. well, 8-10 are avail on the Jawa vendors. BUT, the decos you can place in your stronghold, that drop as rewards for hitting your personal conquest goal, that are harvestable... THOSE stop at 7. It would be nice if they upgraded those. How very sad that everything has gone back to reverse engineering. Only raiders used to get those, if they raided enough, in an honest guild with people that didn't ninja loot, and then the rate was abysmal. How very sad. Going back to the bad old days is not upgrade from 5.x -- it's a step back. More like a leap off a cliff. I'll be going back to ESO if this game goes back to the state it was in 2 years ago.
  21. 3. That Artifice has not been gettiing schematics to make new hilts, nor have they gotten new dye colors or new color crystals in forever. You can pick up new schems for biochem, for cybertech, (slottable items, not just entire, non moddable pieces) but nothing for Artifice. Please make sure that Artifice stays relevant in some way. 2. Conquest drops of collectible material items has stalled out at grade 7 mats. Why not add grade 8-10 items to the loot llist? Some things seem to get updated, like having them on scrap vendors, while other things are overlooked. I'm sure other people can think of other completely overlooked areas in recent updates that I hope will be remembered. If you cannot obtain grade 10 mats except in one place, and you have to break the story to just go there, then maybe it would be good to make them available as placeable decos like grades 1-7 is so that crafters that are returning, or new, don' have destroy their story to craft.
  22. This is sad. The top tier mats for Ossus recipes are sellinig ont he GTN for 550 Million. as I have returned from a break, I have no hope in hell of being able to afford them, before 6.0 drops. Or maybe ever. Making things this expensive means the only ones who will EVER be able to afford them are those who have been sitting around amassing wealth non stop for the last 8 years. But for one of the years I was gone, Bioware wasn't even updating their own website, or their content. THAT is why I didn't return sooner. No NEW anything. Now they punish players for their own lack of interest? That's just wrong.
  23. I just started to download the update, after many months. The login screen "news" is mostly from 2016. I have no idea where bioware is, but the news page on the update screen would have one believe the game died 2 years ago. Oh, there was one from 2017. Nothing from this year.
  24. This has been a constant problem. They should address the balance issues for pvp in the bolster system, instead of farting around with class balance with nerfs and buffs. That way the balance for pvp could be maintained without the negative affect on pve. The problem with nerfs with pve is that the bosses are tuned to one level, and 3 or 4 nerfs means that you can't make the dps checks because the bosses are tuned for pre-nerf numbers. So they are making pve harder to balance pvp. They actually have to separate the changes for the 2, and the best way to do that is using the pvp bolster system to change things. Or to change classes only in pvp areas and pvp instances. Then things revert to normal when they leave pvp. That would be the best of both worlds. Yes it would be more work for them, but in the end it would cause less detrimental impact to the game and please the most people, most often. and I do hope they read this. I'll take the job of analyzing the numbers and figuring it out of they don't have the staff for it.
  25. Many of the problems appear to be using automated checks, automated tracking etc. What this issue really requires is manpower. In ESO I lead a dev around from bot to bot to bot. As soon as he could see it really was a bot, he deleted the entire accout. Ban. And he did it all day. (I didn't). But they got serious and they used actual humans, who can see and react right now. And this is what Bioware really needs. To get a real task force of actual individual GM's and get in there and physically see what's going on, and take immediate action. In ESO since that time, I have NEVER seen a spam from a gold seller or gotten one in the mail. And it's a buy and play game. Zenimax is a shining example and I really hope that Bioware/Ea can reach out and find out what they did. Whatever it was, it worked. So they have the answer. At any rate, I don't think we need automation. We need manpower. It's expensive but far more effective, because they can *think* My $.02 worth
