  1. Nope, cause not all classes are Surge-dependent. And that's a fact. And even though the fix for Searing Saber and Plasma Blades was just that - a fix, there really is no reason to call it a damage buff in the patch notes when in fact, it was a nerf. Point is, devs doesn't seem to play the game at all, nor do they succeed at something as simple as 5th grade math. You wanna call that promising? Good for you. I call it worrying. There are 150 other bug/hack/exploits they should be fixing first, many of them who predate beta. Most patches so far have all been f***ups, introducing new bugs instead of hotfixes, not fixing half of the stuff the patch notes claimed to patch etc., and that really says it all. Edit: and regarding your endgame mods, good for you, so did I. But they all come with accuracy and anything beyond 108% accuracy is utterly useless. Pro tip: Go grab some of the endgame Power mods from non-JK gear.
  2. Wrong. The so-called "damage increase" last week was a in fact a damage decrease. The statement in the 1.1.2 patch notes about it being a damage increase was a flat out lie. Please, learn your facts.
  3. Well, they keep nerfing the class, now Surge is getting nerfed on Tuesday. The only thing that is left is for BW to make Sentinels a 1-button class.
  4. Most stealth classes can pop Shockwater during stealth and insta-heal themselves during combat, nothing new (my Sentinel can't). That's just one of 150 bug/exploit/hacks in TOR. For a full list, google it. BW doesn't care.
  5. If people don't see or recognize the difference between what used to be always lit icons and subtle hotbars versus the cluster**** of flashing hotbars that we have now then I recommend they go see an eye doctor.
  6. GW2 open beta is 3 weeks away and TERA goes live in May. Just saying...
  7. Here is a game that I enjoyed tremendously for 2 years straight: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DqctEMLFoM No lag yet the game is almost 3 years old and offered superior graphics when compared to TOR. It also only took 3 years to develop. I could do 300 vs 300 running a single GTX 275 and still experience little to no lag. See the differences? Aion is far from the only MMO that could handle mass PvP - despite it too was developed using a licensed engine (CryEngine). Why BioWare went with HeroEngine is beyond me. Oh wait, HeroCloud, that's why. Once again, laziness triumphs over true development! TOR will never handle mass PvP, that's the reason why it is so instanced to begin with. That's what you get for using a 10 year old single-threaded engine, lol.
  8. They're nerfing the **** out of all JKs now that they're nerfing Surge. That comes on top of last week's Sentinel/Watchman damage nerf. Just goes on to show how little clue BW has.
  9. Go read the Dev Tracker, we gotta wait till Tuesday 21st for BW to fix the UI. **** BW and screw this.
  10. Incredible, another useless patch. Anyone read the 1.1.3 patch notes? They're nerfing Surge, hotfixing some useless companion stuff and there is no mention whatsoever of reverting the cluster**** that is the new UI. I've said it before, GW2 open beta is only 3 weeks away and TERA goes live in May, talk about shooting yourself in the foot...
  11. Two nerfs in a row? What the f......
  12. I wouldn't assume anything based on two duels and, Watchmen did get a DPS nerf indeed. "Think they might have been nerfed" is just a bad choice of words.
  13. I still prefer Watchman by a mile although our DPS got a significant nerf with the last patch, Combat has little survivability and I dislike Focus and having to spam Slash <-- Where's the fun in that?
  14. Newsflash; several stick to a single MMO class and don't do alts.
  15. BW could have reverted the change earlier today when they took down the servers to patch Ilum but didn't bother....
  16. Clearly a 1-button class. Or even better: attack, pause, attack, pause, attack, pause. And let's not forget tunnel vision as he can't perceive 4 hotbars flashing every 1.5 seconds... The end.
  17. I'm tired of saying it but BW could have reverted the UI earlier today when they took down the servers to patch Ilum - you know, two whole days after that dreadful mess of a patch. But they chose not to....
  18. It's the flashing, yeah. I don't look at the hotbars, I keep my eyes on the action. Meaning my peripheral vision is constantly picking up flashing hotbars every 1.5 seconds from left, right and bottom parts of my monitor. As a melee character all hotbars flash nonstop during combat, every 1.5 seconds. If you google it up, you'll find that constant flashing in ones peripheral vision is a health issue and can result in headaches, seizures and in rare cases, even the loss of sight. What I don't get is how people are not affected by the new UI. Either people don't use their abilities nonstop (fair enough regarding some classes) or they have the mother of all tunnel visions and no peripheral vision. Here is the video of my gameplay and the new UI: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZulDrYZ4CY0 Please look at it in full HD while you take a step back from the monitor and stare at the middle of the screen, as in, on-going action. Tell me you don't see constant blue lights flashing every 1.5 seconds from both left, right and bottom parts of your monitor. If that's the case then I'm afraid you have no peripheral vision. To make things worse, turn off the lights, while not ideal, it is a wellknown fact many enjoy playing in dark environments, be it their bedroom or private office. And as a final word, The Civil War is a pretty bright environment/warzone, the flashing effect is ten times worse in, say, dark instances. And that's even not mentioning the hideous design that is the constant GCD flashing blue every 1.5 seconds over mostly blue icons (if Republic). Or the fact that melee characters never get to the point of having their icons lit at all during combat as the icons just stay greyed out.
  19. Poll says otherwise. Either way, BW could have reverted the UI earlier today when they brought down the servers to patch Ilum, yet they chose not to. Why they didn't do that until they can provide a better UI - and now that they've admitted the new UI is not working as intended, is beyond comprehension and just a big FU to everybody affected by the constant flashing in ones peripheral vision resulting in headaches.
  20. I know how you feel, wish I hadn't given away my Aion Gladiator back in September. Then again, two years with nothing but PvE patches was enough. Kinda the direction TOR is heading towards right now, dumbing everything down.
  21. Well, GW2 and TERA are both around the corner and TOR is not a game peeps return to, that game is called Pandaland. If anything, MMO history has taught us that as soon as a new and anticipated MMO goes live players tend to dump their current MMO. There you go.
  22. GW2 open beta invites will go out in 3 weeks time and TERA goes live in May. Personally I don't care much for the latter, still... I'm pretty sure it won't take long before TOR numbers start to decline. BW's lack of experience as a MMO developer (fail patch after fail patch) and their total lack of communication and/or crappy customer service doesn't help either.
