  1. Quesh. Because my basement is bigger.
  2. But according to this thread Marauder/Sentinels suck bigtime: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=300288 Ahh, the benefits of having a decent and enlightened community. Oh, wait....
  3. It's just like with the UI. Small problem with the GCD? Make all icons lit non-stop!! See the similarities? That's BW mentality for ya!
  4. ToR was new back in December, we're in 2012 now. Deal with it.
  5. Another noob. I don't care about your class, I'm talking about Accuracy in general. 2 or 3 (58) Enhancements, it doesn't matter, you're still at 108% and accuracy caps at approx. 109% - You don't need more because most bosses only have a 10% defense buff. But here's the fun part, you don't need accuracy at all if you know what you're doing. Either way, you created the thread, bumped it and then all you do is whine. Two enhancements "weaker?" What the hell does that even mean? Yeah, cause crit/surge/power is so much weaker when compared to accuracy. Go have fun raiding endgame with only Accuracy enhancements and no surge/crit/power, lol. Why the hell did you even bother to ask about accuracy then? Sry for "helping" ya.
  6. I'm a Sentinel and I don't care. Valor is useless anyway once you obtain your BM/Rakata gear.
  7. Disagree? Everybody with a brain know that the Annihilation/Watchman tree of Marauder/Sentinel is OP. If you wonder why feel free to Google it.
  8. 108% It pretty much caps at 109% With a 3% accuracy talent all you need is two of those +51 endgame accuracy Enhancements (58) to hit 108%. Makes you wonder why BW decided to add Accuracy to pretty much every single endgame Enhancement (58)....
  9. Noob alert, noob alert! Noob alert x2
  10. Nice to see that important bugs like this one still haven't been addressed....
  11. Not all classes are Surge-dependent, but you're too stupid to realize that. And what Pipda wrote: "The point is people are tired of nerfs when this game has so many broken abilities and talents. You can't keep taking away from your player base and expect them to stick around. Is the surge nerf huge? Nope, but when you add it to Alacrity being near useless and Accuracy being a joke it is pretty big. Further more when you are dealing with bugged bosses, loot and quests you just start to lose faith in the game."
  12. GW2 open beta is 3 weeks away, the press is actually testing it as we speak - NDA is up on February 20th, expect to read tons about GW2 on February 21st. If evertying goes well peeps say we can expect a summer release as ArenaNet has stated in the past that GW2 is going live shortly after the open beta. But to me that seems unlikely, a release in the fall is way more likely (who wants to play MMOs during August and 35 degrees Celcius?) TERA goes live May 1st in the states and May 3rd in Europe, with early access granted during late April.
  13. TERA has an aim and doge system, what they choose to call it is not my business, I just took the description feat. on their Features page and used those descriptions without editing them. Now, regarding TERA and its "True Action Combat" system: not the first time I've seen or tried it but it is still more innovative than what we have. Why under TOR it read: even if you like the UI, nothing new or innovative here. At least TERA has a decent UI, lol. World bosses being something bad is your opinion. I've played dozens of MMOs since 1999 and UO and I've never witnessed a world boss being removed from a game because world bosses "are a bad thing" lol. You must have played some weird MMOs in the past, ran by some weird companies. Take TOR as an example; guilds farm the Belsavis world boss nonstop, or at least used to. Yet I had no problem completing the magenta crystal questline and crafting the crystal on my own before I dropped Artifice for Biochem. So much for your theory. Not to mention you're still avoiding the issue, that most world bosses in TOR are useless to anybody done with the leveling process, whether you think world bosses is a good or bad thing is not on the table. Point is, it doesn't make TOR less lacking. Certain things are lacking - and things that are not lacking have terrible design flaws. How BW managed to pull that off in 2012 is beyond me.
  14. Who's biased here? "ToR the planets outside of some story missions are seamless worlds?" The story in TOR is everything, lol. If you do what you're supposed to, as in follow the story and level up, there is nothing seamless about ToR and its worlds. Why do you bring DCUO into the conversation? TERA has several endgame world bosses. How many endgame world bosses do lvl 50 TOR players in full BM/Rakata gear farm? Oh, wait.... I know the PvP ranking system is coming. Whether its based on valor or something else I don't know. Then again, that's not a ingame feature as we speak, read my sig. I also know that there is a GTN (although buggy) and mounts called speeders and achievements in form of the Codex and they all cancel eachother out, why I didn't mention them. The comparison was between the differences; TERA's advanced guild features and TOR's soon to come guild bank. Not so much as a guild embled, cloak, levels etc. - nothing. Atm, the only decent purpose of guilds in TOR is serving as secondary friend lists. Like stated earlier, TERA isn't even that good of a MMO, but do the comparison to any decent MMO on the market, be it AAA or F2P and TOR will fail. With that said, if you enjoy the lacking MMO that is TOR then all the power to you.
  15. I'll use these descriptions taken from the TERA Features page, a MMO released in Korea back in January 2011 which I betatested more than a year ago - for the record, it's just ok as a MMO, I'm looking more forward to GW2: TERA: CHOOSE FROM 7 RACES AND 8 CLASSES "The unique world of TERA is home to many different inhabitants. A combination of seven playable races, each with a different culture and history, and eight playable classes give you freedom to shape your own history, in a way that you choose." TOR: Several races, 8 classes and innovative and fully voiced story driven MMO TOR 1-0 TERA TERA: MASSIVE SEAMLESS WORLD "Explore an enormous world full of diverse terrain and beautiful landscapes, without loading screens and zone transitions. Explore open-world dungeons and fight roaming bosses." TOR: Instances, phases and more instances. TOR 1-1 TERA TERA: BREATHTAKING VISUALS POWERED BY UNREAL ENGINE 3 "Feast your eyes on cutting-edge graphics never before seen in an MMO." TOR: Hero Engine... and no high-res textures! TOR 1-2 TERA TERA: TRUE ACTION COMBAT "Keep a steady hand and know your arsenal, combat in TERA requires a quick finger and nuance on the battlefield, as most skills have to be aimed and can be dodged." TOR: Clusterf*** that is the UI. Even if you like the new UI, there is nothing new or innovative here. TOR1-3 TERA TERA: GROUNDBREAKING POLITICAL SYSTEM "Players in TERA are able to run for election in the groundbreaking political system. Choosing a province or continent, players can make a move to take over the mantle of either a Vanarch, the ruler of a province, or Exarch, the ruler of a continent. Doing so will grant the player prestige, glory and power." TOR: Have fun standing in the fleet looking like a dork. TOR 1-4 TERA TERA: COLOSSAL BOSSES "The enemies in TERA range from small animals to giant, towering demons and monsters. Fighting those colossal creatures is a completely different experience!" TOR: You can always summon that s****y world boss on Tatooine... TOR 1-5 TERA TERA: EXCITING PVP BATTLES IN THE BATTLEGROUNDS "Team up with a group of friends to battle other teams in organized battlegrounds. Prizes, glory and conquest awaits the most skilled warriors." TOR: I'm actually gonna give this point to TOR as I enjoy PvP in TOR, even though it deserves zero points due to the clusterf*** that is the UI, the lagfest that is Ilum and the lack of PvP objectives/prizes/ranking system. But I'm in a good mood. TOR 2-5 TERA TERA: SOCIAL FEATURE "Advanced guild system, auction house, mounts, achievements... everything you can expect from a complete social MMO experience!" TOR: Guild bank coming soon! TOTAL SCORE: TOR 2-6 TERA See the difference? TERA is a MMO developed with less funds by a new and smaller studio, developed in less time and released a whole year before TOR. Yet it provides a richer MMO experience. I could compare TOR to Aion which I played for 2 years straight (released back in 2009) and it too would humiliate TOR. Even F2P games like Runes of Magic and/or Allods Online give you a richer game experience than TOR. Or the still running strong Flyff or EVE or apparently WoW (which I've never played) or any other decent MMO out there for that matter. See a pattern?
  16. Considering we win most matches? Good. At least those I participate in. But with that said, except one imperial guild that I don't remember the name of, there really are no exceptional PvP players on Bloodworthy - if I could transfer my Sentinel to another server I would do it in a heartbeat. The only fun part atm is soloing my Ilum daily, but even it is utterly boring when you go up against peeps 1v1.
  17. You know what the most funny part about that is? Peeps still cheat. You know what's even funnier? BW doesn't even permaban peeps. Go read some of the underground gaming aka cheat/hack/exploit sites, they all report how they only received a 3-7 day ban for using the miscellaneous speed and telehacks, space/crafting/affection/warzone bots, duplicating credits etc. Ahh, the irony.....
  18. I want to wear black like Luke, you know, the main protagonist in the original trilogy. But no, according to BW I can only wear white and different shades of brown *sigh* And that's when BW chooses to introduce full gear customization, atm I'm stuck with the BM armor and those hideous cyclone eyes...
  19. Closer to cannon? Off-topic; I wanna wear black, you know, as Luke did, the main protagonist in the original trilogy. But no, BW says I gotta wear white or brown, or that weird looking space suit that looks nothing like the orange rebel alliance suit but something closer to Dave's spacesuit in 2001: A Space Odyssey. Because BW know best. Instead of giving us simple industry standards such as gear remodelling and color dye tools they just had to "innovate" the gear system. Atm. it is both clumsy and lacking. GG BW!
  20. I would like a GCD in a color other than blue. You know, cause all my icons are f***ing blue.
  21. I like ranking in as no. 1 but there is no ranking system in place. Oh wait, valor system. Oh..... Ilum is a lagfest and the three current warzones are starting to become utterly boring, you can almost play them blindfolded and still come ahead of most PvE noobs. You have fun repeating both Ops 100 times when the reward is useless to your toon, most will such a thing boring. No prograssion = no fun. And did I mention you can only pick between two Ops? lol As said, a secondary friend list, that's all guilds are useful for atm. Not even a guild bank or a simple guild cloak, lol. Cool story bro.
  22. Fixed. Then, after a month at level 50, when you have full BM gear mixed with some Rakata gear - you realize there really isn't much to do in endgame at all other than to enjoy soloing your Ilum daily quest. But even it becomes boring after a couple of weeks. There is nothing to aim for, nothing to achieve, nothing to do, period. PvP is useless once you get your BM gear. Ops are useless once you get your Rakata gear. Even guilds are useless and have no purpose in this game other than serving as secondary friend lists, rofl. And LOL to the guy that mentioned crafting as an endgame activity.
