  1. BW already decided to kill Ilum in 1.2 by having Warzone efforts count towards your daily and weekly quests anyway, lol. So yeah, what the guy about me said. Feel free to add FFA Warzones too, that could be fun. At least for future players, I'm going back to Aion now that it's gone F2P as soon as Gameforge get their act together. Until GW2 is out, that is. I logged in today for the first time in days and couldn't get myself to finish the Warzone, that's how bored I am with SWTOR. It took less than two weeks without rushing to hit endgame. Most of my friends have already moved on. And while BW had the chance to improve things and say, bring other crew skills up to par with Biochem or certain classes up to other classes and make things fun, they decided to just half-arse it and nerf the s*** out of everything instead. Not wise. Fact: Players don't like it when you nerf the s*** out of everything. And I'm not QQing, my Sentinel is OP, even without Biochem.
  2. You got it all wrong, the trinity is still there. It's just not that set in stone, as with most MMOs. There are still tanks that tank better than others and DPS that DPS better than others and healers that heal better than others. And since perfect class balance is impossible to achieve one will never get entirely rid of the trinity anyway. Personally I like the fact that players will have to take responsibility for their actions and cooperate to win. Players will all have to take turns at tanking and healing to achieve victory, at least to begin with. Which is a nice change from the current design of players repeating the same class pattern and mechanics over and over.
  3. Not major AAA MMOs, not so soon after release. Please get that through your head. An hour later and 4 servers aside we're still looking at Light and Standard server populations. During primetime. Light Standard <-- Current server population state of SWTOR two months after release -- Heavy Very Heavy Full Not very promising, is it?
  4. SWTOR really made me appreciate Aion. Did I just say that?
  5. I want fun, repeatable content. Something to aim for. Guild functions other than acting as a secondary friend list. Player customization. Some may say I demand a lot but those are all basic things that most MMOs feature at launch. In less than two weeks and without rushing I went from being a total noob to Sure, BW will introduce more chapters but they will be brand new. I have nothing to aim for or achieve. Guilds have no function in this game, so much for the MMO in MMORPG. And the player customizaation is severely lacking. I still can't believe SWTOR launched with the current features. Or lack of. I would go back to Aion in a heartbeat now that it's F2P if it wasn't for the fact that Gameforge are even more useless than NCsoft. Perhaps in a couple of days when they get their s*** together.
  6. I dunno. There are several MMOs out there with companions. They may or may not affect your storyline directly or craft for you but that's about it. I played a MMO once that had companions that gave you both quests and loot(!) but can't remember its name. ARGO Online alone had companions that acted as tanks or DPS companions or even healing companions. You could choose which one to use. You had to level them up (own level bar), micromanage them and even buy skills to them. Or you could program them using (what I think was) 3 hotbars worth of macros. They also evolved while leveling them, and went from tiny cute pets or creatures to savage beasts. I'm pretty sure ARGO Online is far from being the only MMO together with SWTOR to have pets/companions whatever to interact with you and pull stuff that benefits you - the player. Yes, SWTOR gave us some innovation when it comes to cutscenes and companions but at the same time is lacking tons where it really matters.
  7. Your point being? A MMO as new as SWTOR should have heavy server populations be it weekdays or weekend. Since when is primetime considered weekends only? Heck, there are tiny F2P MMOs out there with a total population of 1000 players that have more population activity during the night than most SWTOR servers.... But fair enough, feel free to check the server population during next weekend, I did last weekend, servers were far from full...
  8. Nah, voice acting is one thing but the actual quests are all meh. The only decent moment in the Jedi storyline was when Sure, more content will follow but it will be brand new chapters. If you ask me I don't think BW know how to do storylines at all.
  9. It's 7pm GMT +1, primetime and all the EU servers have a population of Light or Standard. GG BW!
  10. Devs just changed it so that DoTs no longer prevent you from interacting with objectives, so much for emphasis on PvP. I don't think the devs care about PvP at all. I give it another month before advanced classes like Marauder/Sentinel are dumbed down to 1-button win classes.
  11. Yeah, so guilds can have a go at each other when they lose.
  12. Always use Pacify, it alone is a freebie kill.
  13. Only class that had a decent chance at killing a skilled Watchman/Annihilation Sentinel got nerfed to death (Operative).
  14. Not really, but I guess one can argue whether or not the cost of the summit should be poured into development instead. Or patches that don't require emergency downtime. Or decent art design. Anything but duplicates of orange gear. Different dungeons instead of the one that is repeated 30 times (at least) throughout the leveling process (it gave me FF XIV vibes). Stuff like that.
