  1. With the increased level cap, will you extend the skill trees, add new skill trees or neither? And when will we find out more about the new abilities that are coming up?

  3. I'm very excited too, but remember that the subset of players who complain in the general discussion forum is rather small, although very ungrateful and malicious.
  4. They probably just wanted to gauge the response to different offerings. Most of them were just ridiculous, though, but they probably provide useful information about the importance of different parts of the offerings.
  5. There will not be an expansion for this. If it were an expansion, it would have been much bigger, and they would have said that it was an expansion.
  6. As seen in the E3-trailer, there will be new abilities for all the classes. What do you hope that we get?

  9. Encouraging trial is a basic strategy when trying to achieve a build objective. Also: it has been over five months since it was released.

  11. And oh, GW2 was a huge disappointment. Those who believe that GW2 is the messiah of MMOs are in for a cold shower...
  12. Firstly, a month ago 1.2 had just been realeased, so there were lots of people online all the time because they wanted to play the new content. Now, they have played it and don't stay in for as long, thereby reducing the server populations. Secondly, you assume that the forum is representative for the entire player base, which it is not. For example, I play in a hardcore guild, but I'm basically the only one who uses this forum.
  13. They probably just want to have a ton of announcments on E3 to make it all more exciting. This game is not dying. Even if more people have left, they probably still have over a million subscribed players. Furthermore, you know nothing about business. There will be expansions released, along with other new content, because the main criticism of this game is that it lacks end game content, which would be fixed by an expansion and a few 1.2-like patches. EA and Bioware has an MMO with over a million subscribers, and it is way too early to harvest it. They want to build it up, because if they manage to stabilise the population around or over a million subscribers, they can make an incredible ammount of money, and they won't let that opportunity pass.

Sounds very good to me. We'll probably also get dates for transfers and 1.3 then, which would explain why they are currently keeping us in the dark.
  15. Energy management when using Lethality is no problem at all, and from Ops dummy tests I can verify that it has the best sustained damage. As for burst, MM is probably the best, but TA + Power Relic followed by Cull, SoS, Explosive Probe, Ambush and then another Cull is a rather sweet burst, so don't underestimate Lethality's burst capabilities.

  17. What you two pointed out was correct, but now that I have tried it, I can say that energy management was the biggest issue. Sure, I could do insane burst damage on one enemy, but after that, I had basically no energy at all. However, not bursting wasn't an option because the sustained damage was lower than for full Lethality, so I switched back.

  19. In the interview on DarthHater.com, Austin Peckenpaugh stated that there will be improvements made to the Marksman and Sharpshooter skill trees in patch 1.3. Can you specify what those improvements are?
  20. I'll stay. I'm having a blast when I play this game (especially when I do it with my guild), and I might as well level up a few more characters to lvl 50 for when the transfers and ranked warzones come.
  21. Given that Pyrotechs get 90% armor penetration on their Rail Shot, which doesn't even have an activation time, it wouldn't be completely unreasonable if they increased the Ambush armor penetration to at least 50% instead of the quite modest 20%.
  22. Could there be any truth to what torhead claims to have found? http://www.torhead.com/guide/leak-1.3 If it were true, we should probably have heard something about it from the swtor-team, but on the other hand, torhead is also a pretty serious site.
