  1. So I have played all the way through the 9 available chapters and have noticed a couple things... #1 - My legacy class abilities are gone. I was pretty happy to see the heroic moment cooldown up until I realized that my legacy abilities were gone anyway. #2 - I claimed Nico Okarr when I first logged in with no problems..however once I started the story he vanished, and even after finishing it he is still gone, so...that sucks. If anyone else has found solutions to these issues I'd greatly appreciate it!
  2. You are right and I certainly support giving slicing more meaning. In the end, I'll deal with it..just a bit frustrated over it, but I'll get over it.
  3. I don't think I've ever crafted Augments, so I'm not familiar with that, my apologies. Artifice is one of the only crafting skills I've worked on because I love being able to make color crystals, but now being forced to use 2 characters to make color crystals makes it much more...tedious. I really don't think that any Crafting should require more skills than you are actually allowed to have.
  4. That's very obnoxious..guess I'll have to use an alt as a mule for 3rd-hand gathering skills.
  5. While I haven't done much outside of Artifice or Synthweaving, I don't recall being unable to craft with a single character and being required to have 3 Gathering skills when you can only have 2. I could be wrong, but I have to say, it's awfully frustrating.
  6. I've been very happy with KotFE so far, but this is one change that is kind of a thorn in my side. Why do color crystal now require Sliced Tech parts, along with crystals and gemstones? I've only been playing through the story so far, so perhaps I'm missing something..but up to this point I haven't been able to craft any more crystals because Color crystals apparently require the use of 2 characters to make. If I have missed something here, please let me know! If I'm correct, I would ask that you please change it back Bioware...I would really rather prefer being able to craft on one character, rather than having to move back and forth between 2 just to make use of a single crafting skill.
  7. May I ask about the color crystals in Artifice then? Since they aren't really affected by Mastery changes and could be considered to have important cosmetic appearances, does that mean they'll be completely unaffected? I'd hate to lose my cyan and purple schematics or be unable to learn those that I haven't yet (black-red, etc.) once the update drops.
  8. Musco said it was Class + Main Planetary storyline, so 2 missions per area on each planet, as opposed to 1 mission in each area. It's not that much more work in my opinion; far less than doing upwards of 4 to 5 missions per area.
  9. They have stated that you will be able to get companions from other classes in the expansion, so honestly, keeping your companion number at 5+ shouldn't be too difficult. If a character dislikes you so much that they leave, just get a companion that agrees with your ideals more and that you actually like.
  10. So, the level-scaling is the only thing I'm worried about with this expansion, but let me explain: I don't get to play all the time. The bits of time I do get to play, I enjoy being able to run as many dailies as I can to build up some money and reputation (still not a single maxed reputation). My fear is that this will now become much more tedious and time-consuming, meaning that I get to do even less in the game now... However, after seeing the stream, I was left with the impression that we will be scaled to the highest possible level to still be able to get credited for the missions (i.e 6 levels above lowest level mission). So, does that mean we will be scled to 56 for Ilum, Black Hole, etc. and 61 for Oricon and such? If this is the case, then that isn't actually too bad at all and would be a big relief for me personally! So if a developer would be so kind as to please clear this up for me, I'd be incredibly grateful, as I'd be able to be utterly enthusiastic about this expansion as a whole! Thank you in advance!
  11. I've seen a lot of complaining on the forums today about the update and, while I too have my own negative thoughts on some things, I wanted to give praise to those on the development team that I think really pulled through. Ziost Design - Kudos to the Art Director (or whoever came up with the design idea) on Ziost, I love the way that the planet is designed, I think it's very unique. It's certainly a matter of opinion, but I think the very smooth, clean looking city built within this obsidian looking area is really awesome. Extra kudos to the rest of the art team that were able to pull it all together and actually make it look nice and flushed out. Outfit Designer - I had concerns when I first tried it out because it costed 35k on my main, which isn't a problem, but I didn't want to have to send 35k to my new characters for outfits and, for some reason, your outfits only unify with outfit pieces, so if you only have a chest piece in the outfit slot because you want to keep the look of all your equipment, they won't unify with each other properly, you have to put your equipment in the outfit slots; however, it turns out that the credit cost scales with your level! So even my newer characters can have outfits! So super, crazy kudos to the programmers that thought ahead and set the costs to scale. Ziost Story - I have really enjoyed it so far! I will say that I'm sad it is pretty short, but I have really enjoyed it so far, I think it's much more exciting than the story of some past planets like Makeb, so I hope the rest of it is this great as well. Thank you SWTOR writers for making something that feels very important and serious! TL;DR - For the most part, I've really enjoyed the update, please keep up the good work!
  12. Welcome! It's always nice to see more people joining the team I hope you have a better time here than some past Community Team members have! EDIT: Didn't even realize this was a month old before posting xD
  13. Pretty much this. I thought that was the point of guild ships? Although, if you wanted to gather all your guildmates in your stronghold, I suppose that would work as well.
  14. I would love to have this, but I can't really say I'm expecting it :/
  15. Well that's why I wasn't planning on playing any Ranked or Level 55 PvP stuff, because I know that stuff is pretty serious and I'd just be causing problems for my team.
