You must not play well if you think that. Anytime I play my Pyro PT I'm usually in the top damage IF I'm not number 1 in damage. My wife plays the same spec and has damage higher than me (Pyro has been her main since she retired her Assassin for about 6 months now and I just got mine to 50 a few weeks ago and 55 last week) It's all in how you play and what your goal is. My goal is to harass healers, the ball carrier and people in general who come after me because they think Pyro has been completely gimped . If your goal is solely to have the highest damage in a WZ then you're doing it wrong. Doing all those things I mentioned above and being a general nuisance I can put out some awesome damage in WZs. I've seen other Pyro specced players who can do the same as well.

By the time this update is released most people should already be in Arkanian level gear or higher so that when the content IS released you will be ready for the next tier of content and you will have to grind for that. The only people who really benefit from this are those who are not yet 50 and above right now or when the update is released. As it stands right now tho...we ALL have to grind to Arkanian gear and higher and the only way to get level 72's (without set bonuses which really make a difference) is to have millions of credits.

Not true...I have 3 toons with slicing. Of those 3 toons I use 1 more often than the others because I am constantly running PvP matches and FPs with her (My Gunslinger). My one companion that has slicing (Riisha) I don't have even close to max affection with and yet I get returns from her and my ship droid at least twice within a 24 hour period. The other 2 (Bounty Hunter and Sorc using Mako and Andronikus? to run the missions)....I ran missions with them yesterday after doing a few WZ's to get some credits and both critted at least once yesterday allowing me to get enough Thermal Regs to make an overkill augment and an advanced resolve augment. Before it would take me days, and I really mean a whole week could go by and I wouldn't get a single drop. Now, I get them on a more regular basis.

I had a Magenta schematic drop in Black Hole section on one of the War Droids (whatever they are) that patrols the little narrow bridge/hallway between the Imp and Pub side. There's also a Strong droid and a standard/weak nps close by guarding a chest.

Agreed. Bounty Hunter and Trooper early on are awesome especially with the AoE they get early on. My other suggestion would be a Gunslinger/Sniper. Smuggler doesn't get a good AoE until 40's but it has great damage up to that point with a slew of other abilities that hit hard and it's done from ranged. Knight, Shadow, Sage and their counterparts come into their own 30's to 40's IMO.

Do Xeno SM and HM and you should have a total of 10 after that. Do both the world bosses and that should give you about 5-6 more. The Heroics and PvP content give you a few more Grey Helix components. And then there is a mission where you go to different worlds and that should net you 7 from the total quest. For the rep grind just do it on 2-3 toons if you have them and you should be Newcomer within a day or so. Otherwise, yeah it does suck. I was hoping to get the Speeder this go around but I got 1 lightsaber and a blaster last round so I'm hoping the World Bosses nets me enough to get it before the weekend.

As a courtesy I normally oblige until I notice a DPS constantly stealing aggro at which time I just throw a guard in the middle of the fight on whoever steals aggro. Most healers will not know the difference anyway.

I know Guilds (not saying any names ) with level 55 people in full 66 gear and above and cannot clear SM/HM EC. So for 2 people to do it is still a cool feat. I was happy when my wife and I started clearing level 50 HM FPs by ourselves

I see all these different responses which are all correct and offer the right way of knowing if an Orange moddifable armor is good for you...so to recap... 1. When you want to purchase something either with Comms or credits, hover your cursor over the item and the stats will display. If all the stats are red...its a no go. Not worth it unless you like the look and want to rip mods out. if all stats are green and the primary stat (stregnth, willpower, aim, cunning) is a stat you need go for it. It some stats are red and others are green...look at the endurance and primary stat. if they are green go for it. if not keep moving 2. Is it just for looks? Go for it...you can rip the mods out and equip your own. 3. Is it for a companion? If it matches their primary stat, go for it.

Didn't you know that each toon has a 'side profession'? Weapons dealer, clothing vendor, waste disposal, dead animal pick up including waste...yup we do it all and still make less than the Bounties we have on our heads Hell, my Jedi is a drug dealer selling stims, adrenals and illegal compounds to others...

1. Make your own augments 2. What you have left over sell 3. Sell crafting materials (If you are making augments you have slicing and can sell thermal regulators on the GTN) 4. Sell thermal regulators on the GTN (they sell well) I really don't see a reason that crafting cannot support PvP if done right. I have a few toons I haven't done any pve content on in probably a few weeks or more. In fact, I sit on the Fleet, Makeb, or my ship crafting, making stuff, selling stuff and PvP on at least two of them and have dropped below the 100k mark a few times from so much crafting only to sell a few items and get back up to 800k within a day or 2.

I dropped DF for full Sab (a few points in other trees) and have not wanted to go back. It performs well in PvP and in PvE. Great DoTs, Burst and consistent damage.

In the movies, cartoons and comics Blue, Green and pinkish (tan maybe?) is pretty generic. In fact, in the movies blue is the most common and green would be next and then any variety of other colors.

GTN will be the best place to get it now. I can make the Battlemaster Smuggler hat but you have to be valor 60 (Battlemaster) to wear it.

This is the only reason I keep supporting the Cartel Market and remain a paid subscriber. I'm hoping any funds I pay into the game will go back into more class story content so that they can pay voice actors, writers, developers and everyone else needs a piece of the pie to keep this game going. More class story, better and improved pvp content, something to do on the side like playing pazaak in cantinas, swoop races, gambling, off the rail space content...all stuff that can keep the game going in a healthy direction and keep players happy. And please don't say macro-binoculars and that side quest. Just poking around in an area waiting for something to pop up is not fun. I did that until Corelia and stopped after that. I like the game and want a reason to keep playing.

/cosign First time I went to Ilum I was lagging so badly it was almost unbearable. I enjoyed it nonetheless. I would go on every night to see if people were recruiting for Ops with only Champion gear or less on. I'd get spanked quite a bit but it was nice seeing all my achieved objectives for the weekly flying across my screen. I miss that and wish they'd bring it back. Now all we have is people crying when they get ganked IN the pvp area of Ilum during the Gree event.

With so many changes in the Star Wars universe (movie and EU) it is more than possible. Everything can be retconned.

I'm getting bigger returns on Thermal Regs now. I've gotten 8 in the past 24 hours without slicing missions.

I'm hoping they add a new speeder. The current one looks cool, and I should be able to get it within a week of grinding grey helix but enough people have that one already. Add a new pet, new armors and weapons. Either way...I know what day I'll be calling out of work

I won't lie. I went up against a Sorc Healer/TankSin combo in VoidStar the other night. Could not kill either of them no matter how much I focused the healer and the tank was good at peeling. We probably had half of our team trying to kill them while they stayed near the doors the whole time guarding. They had Snipers, Operatives and Bounty Hunters making it hard for us too but this duo knew what they were doing. Now I may not have been able to kill them because I was balance spec. I did it for sh*ts and giggles since I normally spec for Infiltration when I go DPS in matches or Tank spec. But we had good healers as well and I came out with 690k+ damage and maybe 3 deaths. I won't chalk that up to a healer who was OP, but rather to a good team dynamic who knew what they were doing and were geared to the teeth, fully optimized, fully augmented and knew how to play. The tank had the healer guarded, taunted at all the right times and had team mates who made it hard for dps to kill their healer. Nothing else.
