  1. My thoughts are in the link in my sig (http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=216855). To that post, add this: - No day/night cycle - No swimming - No housing - No Pazaak, Sabacc, Dejarik, races, casino, etc... - Dumbed down character creation - No post-creation character customization - No appearance tab/outfit system - No high res textures - No environmental interaction (chairs, walls, doors, etc...) - Simple combat with static enemies - Unconvincing and stiff animations - Empty dead worlds with not enough NPCs moving around - No collision detection - No stats on resources - No crafting customization - Restriction in choice of starship - No ship decoration - Dumbed down space combat - No multiplayer space combat - Removal of many races - No faction change/neutrality - Restriction and instanced planets by faction - Less planets than announced - Planets rated by levels with no reason to go back - No GM events - Removal of choice to kill companion - Removal of possibility to talk to other faction at all times - No RP tools - Nothing to do post-story - Endgame consisting on waiting in fleet
  2. Once again, all arguments that were countered a long time ago or simply lack of comprehension of the problem.
  3. Sorry, this was all refuted years ago. Good thing you didn't lose time by doing the rest.
  4. The entire planet of Balmorra (as well as Taris) is faction instanced and you can't interact or see the enemy.
  5. If you start another character, you will do 98% of the same things. You could try just doing your class quests and getting XP from boxed PvP but that's if you don't get crazy before 50. Daily space combat can help at lower levels too.

Oh and UI fix-attempt #14.
  7. Current boxed warzones are already anonymous. World PvP is absent because of the way the planets are designed.
  8. What is see is more flashpoint, flashpoint, operation, flashpoint, warzone, flashpoint... Looks like they don't have a clue of what will keep people in. They dodged the question (that they selected) about the housing. They even think of Ilum as a success. Completely disconnected from reality. How long will it take them to get to 2012? No hope.
  9. Well, the new Q&A further shows that they have no plan to do anything else than add flashpoints, flashpoints, operation, flashpoints, warzones, flashpoints... They even completely dodged the question (that they selected) about housing... And they seem to be unaware of the problems of Ilum. Seems we'll have no chance.
  10. People will realize this soon enough and BioWare will have to start upgrading their game so it's up to today's standards. Every day we see more and more of the people that were previously ok with the game and on BioWare's side hitting 50 and realizing how empty and lifeless it is.
  11. Tell people in charge of communication to actually communicate.
  12. It's really not much impressive when you played games with great combat like Champions Online or even Age of Conan. It's pretty old and un interactive.
  13. If it's what it takes to wake them up and make them start communicating with us.
  14. They made it clear that it would contain every expected AAA MMO features and it's not the case so it's normal that players that paid attention during development are disgusted by BioWare.
  15. Exact, I don't understand why "story people" or raiders are against adding features that wouldn't even change their experience.
  16. I don't think that anyone believed that 200h part even before the release. These numbers are always boosted and the devs lie a lot on these things.
  17. I assume you have finished your story. Crafting has no link with endgame. PvP is no different than before either. If you are into raiding you'll be busy for a couple of days. If you are into RP, you'll see that there is nothing to help you and no interaction possible with the world so you won't do that. Dailies will keep you busy for about a week and a half. Then you'll stop logging in and start waiting to see if BioWare care about the future of the game.
  18. An early unlock as in Jedi? I stayed as far away as possible from Jedi at that time (just like now).
  19. Completely agree. The dead poorly designed world is what makes the game not interesting enough for me to stay.
  20. As other said, it's not how it works anymore. People have a lot of choices with all the games and they expect some basic things and more importantly, they expect an evolution over the previous game, not a regression in many aspects. BioWare said a while ago that they had two teams working equally on bugs and new content but the last news said they were now more working more or bugs so expect content to be really rare. The March update is far and the lack of content at this moment will not help people wait for that long.
  21. I wouldn't trust the codex numbers, many lore, characters, etc are not obtainable at this moment either because of the faction or the class so it kinda prevent players to start working on completing the codex since we can't trust it and could lose a lot of time looking for something that doesn't exist.
  22. I don't know what happened but the code of your post is messed up and I don't know what to read
  23. Good read Goreson, but as you can guess, it was all refuted in the previous discussions
