I know about the whole animation delay issue but that's not something I notice really. I mean, I know the combat is a lot slower and less interactive and fun than let's say Champions Online but I don't think that's what people were talking about.
Forget it, unless you are a woman, have children hands, or have a pointy thumb, you won't be comfortable and won't be able to use it to it's full potential. The whole thing is just way to small.
Things that could put life in the dead worlds and actually make us feel we are in the Galaxy far away ? No way, that would hurt their precious story mood, the only thing they care about.
Like he said, come back in 2 years when they are done putting in the stuff that should have been there at release and fixing the bug we reported 6 months before release.
People hate SWTOR because we were promised much more and expected at least an improvement over the previous game, not a regression in almost every aspect.
It couldn't fit the mood of the story they wanted us to have so that's another basic feature that the game doesn't have. The time is frozen and with the lifeless, immobile and weather-less environment, it gives a dead world.
When you played Champions Online and Age of Conan you can't really be impressed by SWTOR's combat, they are way behind in that aspect too. And for the guy that says they delivered exactly the game they advertised, it's a mistake. They promised every expected AAA MMO feature and yet we don't have 1/4 of it.
TOR had his chance and seeing how 1.2 doesn't fix any of the critical problems of the game (missing features), people aren't going to come back. It just doesn't work, they put all their effort into one thing and everything else is dumbed down or nonexistent.
Game Booster is just a gimmick for people who don't know how to optimize their own computer. You can do all that in msconfig or other places. Just search the net and don't touch that thing.
