  1. Thumbs Up, I see no reason why this couldn't be implemented with minimal effort. I am not even that into dueling but I see this as a great immersion element.
  2. He is not saying he has problems with solo content. He is trying to say that the class is not as fun to play because of the amount of abilities and hotkeys he has to use to acquire the same functions a trooper can do with only a few abilities.
  3. I would love more Puzzle type quests... if not quests a lot more puzzle content, as in unlocking chests for cool custom/Artifact gear or what not.... really anything like that would be awesome.
  4. No... the idea of a complete MMO is what is killing the genre. Its not a single player game. They are working on fixing the game currently and coming out with new things for it. I get that you feel that it should have more, and you are right, they should have had a lot of the quality of life options that make games run smoother. I for one wish they would add macros. I like the game enough to play it with out them but I think it would improve the gameplay.
  5. That argument doesnt hold well to something that is constantly changing.... you cant go buy a car and have an option to pay a monthly fee to keep getting new content for your car. Do you expect that dealerships are going around and saying, "Oh the engine wasnt as powerful as you expected, well damn how about we upgrade you from the 4-cyl to a 6-cyl for $15 a month." Didnt think so.
  6. way to go name the one game I didnt try.... damn you!!!
  7. I completely agree that the PTR is not being used as complete as it should be. I do believe that Bioware is trying to get fixes out at a rate that doesnt allow for proper testing. I believe this because I think that Bioware is afraid of becoming the next CO, STO, DCU, etc. They want to make sure they are getting fixes out the door at a speed that shows they are trying to appease the people. Sometimes too quickly.
  8. Of course because I am too lazy to create a post thats not a wall of text means im young..... How about the bug with Warriors chance to hit.... Or the bug with Shamans Windfurry.... Thats just a few... and the UI in the begining wasnt completely top notch... They allowed for addons that many people eventually used because they liked them better. I never said TOR was perfect. I didnt say that they did not leave bugs in that should have been fixed before beta. What I said was that you should give them constructive feedback and not predict the doom of the game every other post. Give the devs some time to implement the things you want and if its not fast enough or you dont want to spend the money on the game, then no one is going to fault you for leaving. I do however have to wonder at the people who unsubscribe and then still come to the forums to rant.
  9. I totally agree that you have the right to be heard. Most the posts that I am talking about are the ones that go: I ******* hate this game BW and EA are ******* going to burn in hell cause its not what I expected. I just want people to be constructive and not always tout the doom of the game based on how they hate huttball, etc...
  10. Hey thanks for the feed back and I agree with you, except im not quite disgusted in the developers. However, I really just wanted to quote you for your post in your sig. It is filled with great feedback on what I think are some of the major flaws in TOR. I agree that they should have had a lot of this stuff implemented in the game already, but as my post says, ill give them some time to work on it.
  11. I dont rely on buying games because of their reviews. I do rely on knowing as much as I can about the game before spending my money on it. It sounds like you have a problem with informing yourself before you buy things. So sure, go on the forums and complain that this game was nothing like you expected. But you shouldnt complain about the price of a game if you just throw your money away on it if the guys producing the game says its awesome. I dont know if you realize it but I think they get payed for it....
  12. Well sir, I agree that this is far from the most innovating MMO. However, I new that going into it. If you took the time to read any review of the game before it came out, you would have seen that all of them complained that this was a WoW clone with a Star Wars skin... so if you bought it then I guess you did pay full price for an old worn out car with a fresh new paint job, but atleast it has a new talking GPS system.
  13. I agree, the player base on the forums is large and I would prefer if not everyone packed up and quit. Thats the reason why I am saying give it time. Every MMO has its rough edges, its a matter of time that smooths it out. You shouldnt stick with it forever if you dont like it though, my only argument is that if you enjoy a large portion of the game but see dramatic flaws tell them whats wrong without being a doomsayer and give them the time to fix it.
  14. Actually, im not living in 2004, name one MMO that hasnt started out buggy and needed work....
  15. You will always have a right to say what you want changed and to complain. You are a paying customer, however, if you want a finished project then I suggest you go play any other genre of games because MMOs are never a finished project. Thats all I am saying.
