Maybe the new guy will actually interact with the community and post news.

Because devs don't know how their game works.

BW another broken promise. No rated warzones.
Dreossk replied to Leskit's topic in General Discussion
Seems like it's just about you then. Not a universal truth. You don't want them to develop PvP because you want PvE. I understand. When you get older you'll understand the rest of us. On the PvP part, I never cared about ranked PvP and never will. I care about world PvP, not boxed PvP. -

So it's there, ok... Why do you tell people to go back to WoW to PvP then...? -

Ranked PvP is not the main problem. Just having actual PvP is a pretty huge issue. Anyway, the forum doesn't show any big bias for one or another. -

Sorry, I meant proof that people want more PvE than PvP. -

Ok. Now post the proof for that affirmation please (poll I assume?) -

You believe yourself when you say that? -
I didn't resubbed... I left in February. Or January? I don't remember. We have a lot to complain about.

I never really liked them. KotOR had an OK story but the gameplay and level design was awful. Mass Effect was great but again, it was really lacking in the gameplay department and was far away from the great TPS. Dragon Age had a very boring MMO-style combat and I couldn't play longer than an hour. Now we get this SWTOR, which can't even beat the previous MMO in many aspects and actually regresses in most of them. Nope, BioWare never impressed me and I don't think it will. I'm grateful they invited me to visit their Austin studios for 4 days but it didn't make me respect them more.

And they are wrong since it's not.

Is has potential, but too many features are missing
Dreossk replied to Dreossk's topic in Suggestion Box
I already said it. Hearing that the game is going to contain every features expected for a AAA MMO is hard to believe and that's what happened when they said it, we didn't believe it, and we were right. It doesn't contain half of the features of the previous MMO let alone many other important features from other great MMOs. -

Claiming that pretty much indeed ruined them before it even started. Expectations were too high and we already knew they were lying. At release (in beta for others), we got the proof. As for the rest of your list, a game with space and land combat already existed: SWG, the game that SWTOR should have tried to improve upon instead of copying another one and dumbing down everything. -

The problem is they specifically said the game would contain every expected AAA MMO features and they couldn't deliver 1/5 of that so it's not wishful thinking, it's failed expectations and lies from the devs. -
I did the Agent during beta and I liked it very much. I had to restart it multiple times tho for each phase of test so I can't really stand doing it now. After the release, my character was a trooper and I completed the story and liked it too. I tried starting a bounty hunter but I couldn't get very far because the character is really a dick with others and I can't stand him and his stupid mentality and way of life. I didn't try the others as I don't want to do a Force user and I can't stand the crappy decade old cover system of the smuggler. What I liked with the agent and trooper is that I really felt a part of the intelligence/army as I was sent on missions in various places.

Hello Anyone Home Hellooooo *Knocks on BioWares Door*
Dreossk replied to Lord_Karsk's topic in General Discussion
They should just stop this game so a good company could start working on a real successor to SWG. -
I was spoiled by the great combat system in Champions Online and it made SWTOR very boring but then, after I unsubed from this and went back to CO, I missed the voices so I quit that one too hehe! No MMO currently deserves a monthly fee. Anyone that played SWG was also spoiled by the freedom and possibilities compared to this but that would require a topic on its own.

Probably an event with an invasion of ships piloted by zombies. Tunnel Space Zombie Shooter. -
Theme Park vs Sandbox, What Do The Players Think?
Dreossk replied to Hendrickson's topic in General Discussion
Theme park is like this game, you go through the content in a specific order and worlds and linear, straightforward and you can't go out and explore. You have little to no liberty in the game. Sandbox is like UO or SWG if you played it when it came out. No order, you can do anything anytime with no real limit. It also gives a feeling of living in the world instead of playing in a dead world like SWTOR, where everything is frozen and there is no life in cities. Dunno if it can be changed but I doubt it because of the reputation of the devs being so lazy and their communication department being really bad and full of liars. Come back in a year or two if the game is still around. -
Leveling a snuggler for the legacy 5% crit buff
Dreossk replied to Heezdedjim's topic in General Discussion
They have to do that so you are busy while they design actual content. Good luck with that awful cover system.
