  1. We expect improvement over the previous game or at least an equality in features. They said it would contain every expected AAA MMO features and yet we are very far from that.
  2. It has the potential to be a good Star Wars experience.
  3. I want SWTOR to have the good parts of SWG, that's the least they can do, upgrading over the previous one, not dumbing everything down.
  4. Unfortunately that's not an option for a Star Wars fan who wants to live in that universe.
  5. It was good until you finish your story when you realize it's really where ALL their resources went. I won't stick around for more than 3 or 4 months to wait for them to add basic features because I won't pay to log and do dailies and raid once a week. This game needs THINGS to do and they need to add most of the good features of SWG and other stuff like: - housing like in SWG with every item of the game being droppable and movable anywhere in the house - complete ship customization like in Galaxies (interior and exterior) - real space combat (with atmospheric) - city PvP raid - PvP perks and bases - social things in cantina like pazaak, sabacc and casino on Nar Shaddaa - complete racing setup on many planets with vehicle tuning and customization - complete character customization including post creation - appearance tab with clothing over the armor with dyes, etc - swimming - day/night cycle - add life to the world by giving adding hundreds of NPC in the cities and give them movements and animation instead of the current awful 24/7 frozen empty worlds - redo cinematics so they aren't so stiff, laughable, awful and poorly made - reason to go back and stuff to do on the previous planets - guild emblem on armor, identification, ship (with complete customization like SWG) - environment interaction - more diverse skills like in Champions Online with skills interacting with other skills - GM event, dynamic event and RP tools like in SWG They have a lot to do because at this moment, the game is too shallow.
  6. News at 12, SWTOR needs MMO elements or people will quit.
  7. If you want KotOR, go play KotOR. We want a MMORPG at least as good as the previous one.
  8. Yep, that's the problem, it should be half the game.
  9. They can't remove it but yeah, they must quickly add freedom, exploration and multiplayer to it. They have to take a look at SWG maybe. At 50 it's pointless, useless and boring. People are not going to wait 3 months to live an actual Star Wars experience, they will quit.
  10. Did it 2 days ago and they all did, except for the aim one in bottom right, which they are fixing this week.
  11. Must have been a bug because all datacrons have a galactic history entry.
  12. Yes all datacrons make a codex entry.
  13. I'm using this guy for late datacrons http://www.youtube.com/user/yoshihumpjon. You can get help for earlier ones in about 5 sec on Google. For the rest of the codex entries, the game is actually too bugged and many entries are unobtainable for certain classes and the way to get the working entries just make no sense so I wouldn't lose time with yet another of their broken system.
  14. They can't seriously hope to last with the actual few things to do.
  15. I don't think this game will go F2P but I won't stick around for more than 3 or 4 months to wait for them to add basic features because I won't pay to log and do dailies and raid once a week. This game needs THINGS to do and they need to add most of the good features of SWG and other stuff like: - housing like in SWG with every item of the game being droppable and movable anywhere in the house - complete ship customization like in Galaxies (interior and exterior) - real space combat (with atmospheric) - city PvP raid - PvP perks and bases - social things in cantina like pazaak, sabacc and casino on Nar Shaddaa - complete racing setup on many planets with vehicle tuning and customization - complete character customization including post creation - appearance tab with clothing over the armor with dyes, etc - swimming - day/night cycle - add life to the world by giving adding hundreds of NPC in the cities and give them movements and animation instead of the current awful 24/7 frozen empty worlds - redo cinematics so they aren't so stiff, laughable, awful and poorly made - reason to go back and stuff to do on the previous planets - guild emblem on armor, identification, ship (with complete customization like SWG) - environment interaction - more diverse skills like in Champions Online with skills interacting with other skills - GM event, dynamic event and RP tools like in SWG They have a lot to do because at this moment, the game is way too shallow and I have little incentive to log.
  16. Too many standard features are missing from this supposedly AAA MMO so you'll find yourself logging in to do nothing while waiting for raids or dailies.
  17. The design of the game (go to a planet, do the quests, leave and never come back) doesn't really allow you to PvP anywhere else than on Ilum at endgame. But even then, it's pretty bad with the big red neon sign above everyone's head that prevents any form of strategy or tactic. Thanks to BioWare's stupid decision to limit everything, you can also forget city raids. You could go to earlier planet but everyone will hate you for being a douche and killing lowbies. We are far from the fun of the world PvP in SWG.
  18. I do miss the day/night, the housing, the customization, the real world PvP and the liberty. In the current game, I only log for dailies since there isn't anything to do while waiting for raids.
  19. Indeed, Nar Shaddaa and Coruscant are very poorly made and don't give justice at all to the real place. It's a shame they didn't actually made it like in the movies and books.
  20. It's true they said it was only for the first planets and that it would be removed from the game shortly after release but since they also removed search, we can't look for it.
  21. I reported that in each build in beta since July. They said it was going to be fixed. I also hate seeing my trooper with a blaster pistol during cutscenes but the worst is when I used a shiv to kill a guy... It's like they didn't even think before designing the cutscene.
  22. We can see the sky just fine on Nar Shaddaa and Coruscant.
