  1. Great, don't get me wrong, TOR wasn't an innovative as I hoped either. It's still fun for now. It's a game, I'm here to have fun, once TOR is no long fun I'll unsub.
  2. then when Tera doesn't meet your expectations you can switch to waiting on GW2. Then when GW2 doesn't hold up switch to......
  3. The second iteration was hard to tell on longer cool down abilities if it was off CD or "almost" off CD. So it was annoying in that respect but otherwise worked fine. Take a good idea from the third iteration and just have it "flash" when ability comes of CD only. I'd suggest something like: Icon border = Range indicator (Change color when out of range) Grey Icon = Lack of Resource or position (ie: behind target) Countdown timer & flash when CD completes = CD (mix of version 2 & 3 system) GCD = Like the 2nd iteration, a quick swipe over the icons.

  6. I'm on month-to-month for now but I still plan on at least one more month to see what 1.2 brings. I took out the big ones from Shizu's list: - I want ALL my warzones to be 8v8 OMG Yes, this. If a team is down by two or three people - WAIT and fill in the slots BEFORE starting the match. It does little good to fill the last three slots when we're already four-min into the match. - ... Not 4 sorcerers, 3 mercenaries and 1 something else Yes that too, however, it's probably PowerTech's not Merc's I see more. I do agree with the rest of his list too, especially about Ilum.

    getting sick of "PVB"

^^^- That happens mostly but sometimes when the numbers are more even there is some good fights -laggy as they are- to be had. The Empire players hold mid 99% of the day so yes, most of them get their daily done where we have to fight much harder to get it and usually takes me two-nights to get it done.
  8. That I can agree with, Ilum has been getting worse each time they touch it. I never thought I'd see the day that I miss the tank trades, at least we could get our daily done and people worked in smaller teams at the nodes for good-fights.
  9. Ah, you can't run through someone's avatar to interrupt their casts... you poor thing. Everyone has CC's, knockbacks, etc to compensate.
  10. I can work around MV's delay, it's annoying that it's not fixed yet and it is more difficult to use in PVP situations than the BH version. It does in-the-end still fire the volley. That Full Auto still fails to work is much more annoying. Not only does it put FA on CD, eats a GCD, and a proc (if spec'd), it applies ZERO damage to the enemy. I'll admit it's rare so I can understand it wasn't on the top of BW's bug list, but when they can fix things like emotes on speeders it seems priorities are backwards. I realize some bugs are easier to fix than others, however, that is where COMMUNICATION with your player base comes in. Tell us what the two or three bugs they are working on for classes, or even per-class.
  11. I've seen kill trading and I play on a PVP server. It's not as often as on other servers I guess by the amount of people reporting it on their servers. The fact that BW has kept silent about Ilum's issues and many other PVP issues speaks volumes.
  12. Agreed. The OP's example shows that people that want to PVP for the competition will do so and they don't need a gear-carrot.
  13. Interesting read, I've just started to level my Shadow and was planning on going with Powerr's tank setup http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=225827 I'm still sub-level 20 but I did pick up a Focus OH and was enjoying the increased DPS for lowbie WZs.
  14. Are you going to address the terrible Ilum FPS issue? Most people get sub-20 (some into single digits) frames per second on Ilum warfront, lag spike when nodes swap sides, lag from large fights (16v16 or larger). Ilum becomes a headache inducing slide show.
  15. None of the matches take that long, they all have a timer these are not the old-school hour-long WSG. You desert a WZ you shouldn't be able to queue for another for 30min. I've had matches that started bad some leave then we eek out a win. Happened on Void & Huttball this week alone, OK not so much on Alderaan as it's near impossible to recover. Now, I've seen teams just farming kills, especially in Huttball (throw the ball to the opposing guy who's being mobbed for more metals ), so I'm in full agreement with a "surrender" type option or some form of anti-farming tool. This would end the match quicker and you would not incur a deserter penalty. Perhaps for every player that surrenders it takes 30sec off the clock to end the match quicker. BW also needs to fix the remaining bugs, hacks, & exploits in the WZs.
  16. I invite you to try Black Prophecy for a good example of a space fighter combat game. It's a much more accurate idea of what many want in improvements to space combat. I can't dis-agree with the OP more, space combat is nothing but a single-player rail-shooter. There is *zero* multiplayer aspects to it.
  17. Great to hear Gabe, I hope you guys can start to communicate like this more often. It's great to see you guys jump in to clarify quickly. Can't wait for 1.1.2 now.
  18. This sounds very encouraging! I'd love to see a player driver economy and meaningful crafting.
  19. Agreed again, like every other class you gotta pop your adrenal+expertise buff+relic+insert buff to boost your attack and that lasts all of about 12sec. Meanwhile you can still be interrupted, LOS, stunned/knock back, CC'd, or just focus fired.
  20. Agreed. And no, we can't just sit back and spam Tracer/Grav It does not do as much damage as the whiners think, usually when you see yourself die insanely quick from it, it's because we have already got 5-stack debuffs on you and weakened you with our other shots that are now on CD. Yes our damage is good but it takes time to stack.
  21. ^^- Plus 10000000 to that.
