  1. The rated WH gear requires a PVP Rating which you can not get from regular WZs. They've changed the reward mechanics so if one, "afk/derp" a regular WZ they will get little to no rewards. Thus they'll have no WZ Comms to convert.
  2. Yes, and thank you for posting them it'll be nice to have them here for reference. Not mine yet, but I'm not pleased with the notes and lack of "underlying changes". I do not see my CM being as fun to play as before, if the spec is as boring as Gunnery I'll either play an alt or leave.
  3. I assume you'd run with Plasma Cell active instead of Combat Support. Not a bad spec to try at least, it may end up better than the 30/11/0 does now. I'd miss the CD reduction on Tenacious Defense (it's getting nerfed anyway) but the recharge on stuns and 30% armor reduction on HiB would be a nice compensation.

  5. I did not see any "Power/Crit" nor "Alacrity/Surge" mods. and Alacrity/Surge mods/enhancements it was "Crit/Surge" or "Power/Surge" or "Alacrity/Power" mods.

  7. Agreed, I wouldn't be surprised if this is a long-term project for a feature in the first paid expansion which is likely 1 to 1.5 years away. I'd like Space & Cap Ship battles.
  8. ^- That Cap-Ship Battles = What do you mean? I'd like to see Cap ship vs Cap ship in battle with groups of single man fighters in huge battles in both PVP and PVE settings. Players can "defend/attack" a cap ship from/as a boarding party. Fly a 1-man fighter to pick off enemy fighters, bombers, etc. However, I include that as part of the "Full 3D space battles" section of your question. Also, boarding a enemy cap ship to disable critical parts = YES please. There is class missions similar to that already. Pod/Speeder racing = What the current on-rail "space combat" should have been. Couldn't be too hard to re-skin to include this too. AT-AT combat = Can be a cheesy or could be good but I would rather see the space & cap ship battles first.
  9. I have a low-level alt on the PTS (level 12 I think) I can check the gear on the station vendors and the crafting trainers. I thus far CBA to level up to get my ship but could if necessary.
  10. I agree myself mostly and our small guild went from about 10 people prime-time to one or two. I'm doing some dailies and leveling a JC and an Empire alt slowly.

  12. Sorry, I did not mean to give you that impression. I read your post in your sig (http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=3593657) and have to agree. Plus I read your feedback here (http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=369275) which I feel should be on your sig too. I'll be going back to Gunnery or retiring my Trooper in 1.2 and level a Sage for healing.
  13. Does your condescending attitude come naturally or was it an acquired skill? Ignoring your attitude, I will say I agree with most of your posts here but it doesn't change the fact that many do feel the changes will hurt/cripple Toopers. It's compounded by the (odd) lack of an automated copy-character-to-PTS service. The game is changing quickly, much faster than WOW over it's first 5-6 months. Sure I'd like the fixes/changes to come faster too but it's not totally realistic. You don't want to game to become alien to the players plus the unforeseen circumstances of a change to "A" causing a negative effect on "X".
  14. I fear the hybrids will be mostly killed in 1.2. I'd like to see discussion by players who actually had their characters copied to the PTS. I've seen the Devs talk about reverting/adjusting some of the Sage/Sorc changes but hardly a word about Commando. I hope enough got moved to the PTS for proper testing. I'm talking from a Gunnery perspective. If what you say is the case they should buff CB damage deep in Gunnery tree giving gunnery a incentive to use it over Grav.
  15. Gunnery is more back-loaded DPS now with the nerf to Grav & CB but greater CoF procs and boost to Demo. The nerf to survivability is annoying and I'm not sure why since it's not like we have that great of survivability now. CM took a double-whammy I think and it seems like a bigger hit than Sage. Assault got hit from the changes to Gunnery and it really needed a buff for Commandos as it's our weakest tree. Agreed, it's all still centered around Grav Round. They should not do the 10% nerf to CB since most of the buffs will proc off either CB or Grav. Grav has the added armor de-buff for the same ammo cost so why go CB if Grav is avail? By having CB do more damage it'd give you more reason to use it over Grav.
  16. That hybrid will be mostly dead in 1.2. It's not a bad spec to run for PUGing WZs when my guild isn't logged in as it does give me more 1v1 survival and is flexible depending on what the team needs dps or heals. For pre-made teams no it's not a great spec, though I've kept a few players occupied by staying alive in huttball so our team can score more than once.

  18. Yes, I think that's part of it. Resolve bar doesn't always work. You have a full resolve bar, pop your CC breaker, and still get CC'd again.
  19. A as a CM healer if I have all my CDs, sure I can live for 30sec or so until help arrives (assuming it does) but I won't live for long. However bring two or three healers (Sage / Sorc especially) then you can setup a healing train that can't be broken easy. Besides, 1.2 is already going to address healing so your QQ now is premature.
  20. Before I switched to medic I was gunnery and I can say that it wasn't that Gunnery was all that survivable before, so now we'll do about same DPS but have LESS survivability. I have spent a ton of time grinding up gear for CM spec. So, now do I stick with CM or do I switch to grinding gear for Gunnery or just roll another (more favored) class is the question. The only way to get them to review/rethink 1.2 changes again is to test, but it's a catch-22. It's very annoying that most of us CAN NOT test since we can't copy-character or instant-roll a level 50. They won't listen to non-tested feedback yet most of us can't test to give such feedback. What are we supposed to do?

  23. Yeah, I'm not too thrilled about a PVE raid being more-or-less required to PVP. It's bad enough now in 1.1x that the best PVP gear is a mix of Rakata & BM gear. There was much hope that the new gear level would correct that, but not by requiring one to PVE to PVP. To the OP: Great write up on the new World Boss.
