  3. One Sorc/Sage can't force run all the way, it's a chain of two or three. So break that chain to slow them down. Disable all pulls/speed buffs on the ball carrier would be the only fair way. To disable friendly but not enemy abilities isn't fair. This *would* make passing the ball more important than giving the pall to the Sage/Sorc.
  4. All DOT's, snares, etc should be wiped on death. I've not had your situation but I've had DOTs and other stuns persist after death.
  5. Sometimes we can't throw the ball before dying because of all the CC.
  6. As a Republic player I see many same-faction Huttball games myself lately.
  7. On my server 90% of the time the Imps control Center, it's so bad the Imps usually log out or WZ queue while in center. We do sometimes get enough of a team to fight the Imps and hold center for awhile. It just doesn't happen enough and I'm sure the Imps also like it better than running in circles for boxes. Ilum is boring for both sides with benefit going to the Imps who can at least complete the daily/weekly although in a boring/slow way. So OP, I'd rather your shoes than our usual situation of a 6-man "Ops" group trying to find a few Imps to attack or trying to get one kill before dying to the zerg of valor-farming Imps. Ilum's current design is terrible from FPS issues to the "armament" boxes.
  8. Match Pre-mades to pre-mades in 4's or 8's doesn't really matter. Two teams of 4 can be effective against a team of 8 much more so than a PUG.

  10. I also sometimes work late, guess wait, you can NOT do the daily for a night. Some times it takes me two nights to get a "daily" WZ quest completed. You want a casual lifestyle yet want to progress like a hardcore.

  13. That's when you take mid while all 8 of their guys are East/West. I've seen teams exploit the /stuck mechanic too so they can get to the speeder quicker when they're loosing a node. I don't know if it's fixed yet.

  16. EVE's DP system would not work in this game unless they radically changed the gear progression system. I love EVE too and I'm playing both games.

  18. More like Huttball favors Pulls/Leaps/Sprints classes. Vanguard/PT & Sage/Sorc teams can rule Huttball.
  19. I'll agree with that. Some classes aren't as mobile while others can leap/jump or pull all over the place. Original?! It's basically WSG capture the flag type play.
  20. Ilum currently is only fun with both sides have a 20+ person Ops group(s) in laggy zergs at center. I want to play a game not a sub-20fps slide show. Zergs also get a bit old even if it wasn't laggy. The zone is a huge map and there is potential to make it better than it currently is. I agree that my suggestions are just a starting point but I'm still against more PVE in a PVP zone. I agree there needs to be more incentive/objective to being there than just collecting boxes or trying to get on kill mails.
  21. I agree with OP that Ilum needs work, but I do not agree with his suggestions. I want less PVE in the Warfront not more. I also want less mindless zergs. - Arms need spread around the other capture points and lower the number around center. - Spreading out the Arms would help break up the zerg to let the undermanned side have a chance. - Randomize the location where the arms spawn so people can't just camp. - Work on performance issues on Ilum, why is that the only zone that gives so many sub-20 FPS? (spreading the zerg would probably help this some)

  23. Adding NPC's to Ilum doesn't sound like PVP improvements to me. Adding a bunch of gathering mats and PVE quests to the zone also doesn't seem like an improvement. Sorry OP but I don't see how they'd improve Ilum. I'm on Ajunta Pall too and have teamed up with Coba many times. Ilum does have FPS issues, unlike other zones, so I do hope performance improvements are inbound. LOL, no Ajunta Pall is not a "Republic Dominant" server. There are many more Imperial than Repbulic players on Ajunta Pall. We're 99% underdog on Ilum, usually about 2:1 odds.
