  1. Guss Tuno when I click on him from time to time: "Why are you always looking at me? Don't you trust me yet?"
  2. You pay our subscription and you can tell us how to play. Until then, we'll do as we want.
  3. Exactly. I have the Rakghoul armor on my Sage and on my Sentinel's Kira Carsen, so it CAN be worn by both player and companion and IS Legacy armor. I just think they should have stuck with the pattern they previously set and let companions use this armor, too. That's all.
  4. I like the titles 'Jedi' and 'Master' because I have characters named Jedi and Master, which become 'Jedi Master' and 'Master Jedi' when they get the titles.
  5. I don't know why they would do this. They didn't restrict companions from using the Containment Armor from the Rakhgoul event last year. Why would they put this kind of restriction on this event?
  6. It's pretty much the same for the Jedi. My Consular was referred to by some NPC's as "Master Jedi" even as a Padawan. It's the same as referring to a Sith as "My Lord" despite their actual title/position.
  7. But, I've also found out that he makes for a great companion until you get your first real one. Even if he's got all his level 50 orange gear that doesn't affect him in any way, a naked HK-51 is still very strong...at first. With each level, his strength diminishes, so by the time you get your first normal companion, he's outlived his usefulness until you reach level 50 yourself.
  8. Well, if dark side Jedi should be banished...shouldn't light side Sith be killed?
  9. I don't understand why there's such an outcry. (Let me explain that I pve and do not pvp). We've had a couple game events now that were pve in nature. Now, we're getting an event that has pvp in it and everyone is up in arms. On top of that, the pvp'ers are complaining that they had to pve to do the earlier events so it's only fair that pve'ers have to pvp this time. Well, nobody forced anybody to do any of the previous events. You pvp'ers didn't have a gun to your head. If you didn't want to pve, you didn't have to. However, if you wanted to take part in those events, you sucked it up and did it. Now, the shoe's on the other foot. Nobody will force anyone to do these events if they don't want to. If you don't like pvp, don't do it, but if you want to reap the rewards of this event, then you're going to have to do it. It's only fair. I may not like it either, but if I want to participate in it, then I understand that I'm just going to have to group up and do it and hope my group is better than their group. If I decide it's not worth it, then I'll stop and I won't worry about it. Why all the fuss? Seems pretty simple to me.
  10. This is how I would like to see the fights. Remember back when Darth Maul (Ray Parks) fought Obi-Wan? When Obi-Wan sliced through his double bladed lightsaber to turn it into a single bladed saber, go watch how Maul/Parks handles it / swings it. That's how I think the new battles should look and feel.
  11. Personally, I wouldn't care who won, but I sure would enjoy the mud-wrestling battle between them!
  12. I believe the problem is that even on a PVE server, you get autoflagged for PVP if you go into a PVP-designated area, whether you want to or not. That's the gripe people are giving that others seem to have a problem understanding. They rolled on a PVE server for a reason, and it's not to get forced into PVP. If some people want all-out PVP, they should roll on PVP servers. The same should apply to those who don't want PVP at all. Isn't that what the PVE servers are for?
  13. I'd like to see them give us the ability ti dismiss any one of our current companions and replace him/her with an NPC of our choice. Said NPC could be mute so they don't even need to record any new voiceovers.
  14. I leveled up a Trooper not so long ago and found myself so disgruntled with the class that it became a chore to level up. At one point, I simply didn't log it in for almost 2 months, but ended up forcing myself to get back on it just to finish leveling it up When I hit 46, I nearly beat my head against the desk in frustration, though my particular problem was that I never really cared for the tank class archetype. I did finally, however, make it to 47 and immediately parked it on Ilum for the dailies that open up to everyone there at that level. From that point, I ran that character through the dailies each day before moving on to an alt I was having more fun leveling. Doing those dailies gave about a quarter or a third of a level in experience, so within the week I had it at level 50, stress free. From that point, I simply took the money and comms I made and boosted the armor, then went back and completed all the class quest lines. At level 50, some of them weren't necessarily a challenge, but I decided I would enjoy the storyline, which I did. That's what made it all worthwhile for me. I know some of my frustration was probably armor/weapon levels (or mods, at least) compared to the character level, and if I'd kept on top of those I probably wouldn't have had the trouble I did, but it was also the class type. I'm more of a magic user (Force user here) than a tank, but I did find a way to continue playing the character in a way I appreciated.
  15. It IS skippable. You do the quest once and when you've unlocked it for one of your characters, you can simply purchase it on every other character in your Legacy with cartel coins. That's what I did, anyway. Did the quest once, got it on my other toons through CC's.
  16. Did you not see THIS thread right there at the top of page 1? http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=572
  17. Make mad, passionate love to them. If they don't like you after that, dump them out the airlock.
  18. A game out of South Korea called Granado Espada allowed the player to control 3 individual characters (you actively played one, the other two followed and /assisted, and you could alt-tab or whatever the function was to switch control from one toon to another, so you could effectively position the 3 in a triangle position and hit an enemy from all sides). I don't see why BW doesn't take something like this, even if it's with only 2 characters, so you COULD use one of your alts as a companion. That said, the main/companion would have to be within a certain number of levels of each other, or anyone with a level 50 could turn around and make a level 1 with the 50 as a companion. That would be a little lopsided.
  19. My thought is that a Mando should be equivelant to a Special Forces soldier of any other general army, which makes them tougher/better/smarter than the rest, but not over the top invincible. Jedi and Sith might have a little more trouble when fighting them, but really only Jedi and Sith should give Jedi and Sith true opposition.
  20. JK #2 is hotter than JK #1. No wonder she's pissed off.
  21. AMEN...I always hated the 'no love, no marriage' crap. Hell, if the old Jedi had to give up on the things that mean the most, then what the hell were they fighting FOR?
  22. I like this one: Utini A Jawa word, essentially meaning "Get over here!" Occasionally used as "OH SH*T HELP HELP!"
  23. Just for the hell of it, I made a new level 1 character and CC bought HK-51 to see how it was at such a low level. To my surprise, it was actually quite nice. As you leveled up, its effectiveness and hp's went up, too, worthless components notwithstanding. What I did discover, however, was that it's effectiveness diminished some each time you leveled up, so when I got my characters natural first companion, I came to this conclusion: At initial levels, HK-51 is fine, so long as you switch to your classes original first companion upon getting him and save the big guy for when you hit 50. This way, you at least have a companion for every level throughout your leveling experience.
  24. Anakin fought Dooku using 2 sabers in Episode II, so for about 3 seconds, he could be considered a Sentinel.
  25. A couple thoughts: First, at Legacy level 50, I think you should be allowed to summon and run 2 companions. Second, because of the 2 companion ability, the class storylines for Chapter IV should be significantly harder. Perhaps on the scale of Heroic-4 area's (making it tougher, but not impossible to run through), which they could add to each current planet so we'd have a reason to go back and explore those planets.
