  1. I'm not one who really is bothered about the whole purebloods becoming Jedi, but I have to ask...isn't a dark side Jedi Sith Pureblood virtually the same as a regular Sith Pureblood working for the Empire? Maybe for immersion / role-play purposes, only his political stance has changed (Empire to Republic) rather than his Force alignment. Although, why would he be a Jedi? Hmm, could be that he was sent to infiltrate the Order to bring it down from within. Oh, the possibilities...
  2. I make all my characters look as similar to each other as possible because they're either 1) clones, or 2) indentical twins/triplets/quadruplets/etc.
  3. Yeah. I play both (JK to 50 and JC is coming up on 39) and I think the Consular classes recieving the Master title so early diminishes it completely. I won't even display mine until I reach 50 and feel I've earned it, the same as I did on the Knight.
  4. Wow, I think that is the best description of the difference between light side and dark side I've ever read. You should make that your signature.
  5. Maybe Bioware can do this someday: Your characters on your account are part of a separate family tree than your wife's characters on her account. But...maybe one day your characters can marry and the two family tree's can merge. Maybe wishful thinking, but it's a thought... Edit: Maybe I should have read the above post before I answered since he/she basically said the same thing.
  6. When I first hit 50 on my first toon (Jedi) I had about 2.1 million. Then went on a spending spree and got down to about 600k. Now inching my way back up to about 1.5 million doing dailies in between leveling alts. It's not really difficult, but it's repetitive and tedious which *makes* it difficult.
  7. Stiffy whips. They start off limp and droopy, but when you get excited (in the heat of battle, of course) they firm right up!
  8. Also, if you get confused as to which Emperor is the real one when all his clones pop up...go into preferences and turn off enemy npc nameplates. Only the real one will keep his name visible while the clones will not. Makes a lot of difference when you lose track of who's who.
  9. Actually, I think a Light Sith or Dark Jedi should be able to join the Hutt Cartel (or other) as a playable third faction. I also think the Smuggler and Bounty Hunter should start out in this third faction. Dark Smugglers stay, Light Smugglers join the Republic. At the same time, Light BH's stay, Dark BH's join the Empire. The only classes that are specifically Republic or Empire should be Troopers and Agents. The only class that would be specifically Hutt Cartel would be the slugs themselves. Of course, they're too fat to move, so they'd be limited to sitting on their couches surrounded by hot slaves in their palaces. Actually, that wouldn't be so bad...
  10. I did that, and I laughed so hard that I had to do it again.
  11. I've come across so many different and unique characters in my leveling travels that I'd simply like the option of removing BW's dedicated companions to make room for any of these other ones. I mean, if we're only going to be able to have X number of companions, then let us dump the deadbeats and take on someone we find a hell of a lot more interesting (and useful). I mean, seriously...Lord Scourge and his uptight girly voice? His weak combat stance? Why didn't they at least get someone like Clancy Brown to voice this character? Then he might be a little more interesting, to say the least...
  12. Dear Bioware, Please le me shoot the droid out the airlock. Thank you.
  13. Griefers are the reason I turn all my companion's aoe's off and dont' use any if i'm out there, whether I 'need' them or not. If that means I get overwhelmed, then I'm just gonna balls to the wall run through the mobzerg before they take me down in hopes of getting as far through them as I can. I can just rez myself there and continue on, which I'd rather do than give some idiot the satisfaction of having killed me.
  14. Do datacrons affect your companion as well as you? For instance, the +cunning datacron has no effect on a Jedi, but will it add to the heal companion who uses cunning as his primary stat? Just wondering if I need to get all the datacrons I can or if I can ignore some.
  15. It would be nice to open up the non-travel area's on the planet zones instead of forcing people to go through pre-determined paths. As it it, it makes us feel like we're running through a gauntlet instead of really 'exploring' the world. Plus, for future add-ons, I'd like to see planetary zones expanded even further. Imagine Tatooine even wider with nothing but sand for as far as the eye could see. That would make it really feel like you're out in the middle of a God-forsaken barely inhabitable world.
  16. Why so many SITH? There were only like TWO in the movies. How come they're all over the place?
  17. Of all the planets, I think Tatooine is the most representative of Star Wars. When you go way out into the desert, say near the Sarlacc, it really does look like the desolate sandpit you felt when watching A New Hope.
  18. The New Republic did not exist until a couple years AFTER Return of the Jedi, not during the movies. This is what happened as I see it: The Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire have been, are, and will be at war several times since their creations. During the time of the movies, Palpatine represented the Sith Empire while disguised as a Republic politician, and when he toppled the Jedi and took over the Senate, making himself Emperor, he essentially made the Galactic Republic into the Galactic (read: Sith) Empire. The Rebel Alliance was then born, upholding the values of the Republic, and after they defeated the Empire, they returned the government to what it was...while at the same time replacing some of the old ideals that were outdated and helped caused its downfall. Thus, with a newly rewritten Constitution (so to speak), the New Republic was born.
  19. It's actions of these griefers that have caused me to stop healing, buffing, or assisting other players in any way on shared repub/imp worlds.
  20. This. One of my biggest pet peeves in games is the unsolicited group invite (spam) from someone out of the blue. Every time that happens, I click decline without even reading to see who it's from. However, it's so much more appreciated when sends me a message asking if I'd like to join them for a run, even if I'm busy at that moment and can't, and if I'm busy at that moment, I send them a message back declining and thanking them for asking.
  21. Depending on your level, you should be able to roll through Esseles/Black Talon pretty easy and get (I think) around 250 light/dark points per run...I've done a couple on my 30+ Sentinel and they take no time at all.
  22. I think time sinks are ridiculous. For example, when I'm out of food, I have to go through the whole process of making a grocery list, walking from my house to my car, driving from my parking stall to the store, actually going down each aisle to shop for what I need, standing in line at the check-out counter, driving home, carrying in my groceries, and putting them in the fridge/cupboard. It would be so much easier to just have it all magically appear on my counter when I run out of something. Come on, people. The point of this game is to immerse yourself in the SW universe...and that includes less than exciting travel times via speeder or space ship. If your only goal is to get to Point B or to 50 as fast as possible, then you're missing out on 90% of the game. That's not to say there's much 'game' in the hangar ports and such, but they ARE part of that immersion. Relax, slow down, take it easy, and enjoy it.
  23. In other words: you're a moron who doesn't know what he's talking about. 'Nuff said.
  24. I haven't seen any, but what I'm looking for are PANTS for my consular. Also, for my sentinel, I decided since I'm going 'dark' I'd rather not have the standard 'Jedi' look...so I bought smuggler gear, stripped them of their mods, and put my jedi mods in them to wear. Gives me a uniquely un-jedi look.
  25. This is how I got my Founder title: 1. Bought the game the day it came out. 2. Installed it with every intention of playing for several months, knowing that there would be 'issues' that go along with newly released games and that they would be resolved sooner or later. 3. Entered CC information even though 'technically' we all got the first month free. If I found the game unsatisfying in that first month, I could have canceled before the first payment went out and not worry about it. If I liked it, it would automatically start paying on the 20th of January. 4. Stayed. 5. Got title today.
