  1. I can't apply the mk-x kits so that I can then add the augments themselves. The buy/add tab is grayed out where it was not before.
  2. Item modification stations don't seem to allow augments to be added/bought for any piece of equipment or armor after today's maintenance. Anyone else having this problem?
  3. Make sure you're trying to put Treek down as a decoration from a character that actually has her as a companion. If you have her on Character 1 but try to decorate your room from Character 2 which does not, it may not let you. Don't know for sure if this is true, but it couldn't hurt to check.
  4. Don't know the exact number, but I think it was under 400k credits before I got my rancor, and that was just credits I earned doing a daily or two over three days to use to gamble with rather than my regular stash of credits that I'm saving to use on Strongholds if I need to. Never blew up any machines or got any of the other mounts, though.
  5. Thank God I never spent any more money than I had on me from doing one or two dailies first, so I never really 'lost' any credits over it (still got plenty to lose on messing around with Strongholds). Played a total of three days (never more than 90k credits a day) and got all my alts some of the weapons to play with, and on the third day just before I called it quits I managed a rancor for my main. Not really a horror story but I can see it turning dumbly addictive if I let it.
  6. My Jedi Consular Character name: Jedí Title: Jedi Legacy: Jedí Full name: Jedi Jedí Jedí (say it like Marsha Marsha Marsha from the Brady Bunch) Or, drop the legacy title, switch regular title to Master, and voila: Master Jedí
  7. My first (and favorite) class was the DPS Sage. I normally play the spellcasting, mage class in other games as opposed to melee (which I'll admit I suck at) so this was the closest thing to it.
  8. I *love* going into the Rakghoul tunnels on any of my characters, be they my 20's or my 55's, and watch as flagged enemy players deliberatey come into my fights to try getting me flagged, only to stand there like idiots before they realize that I do not use any AE attacks. Instead, I single target my mobs and happily go about my business and /rofl at them when they fail. It just makes my day. /happydance
  9. Exactly! Single target everything and make sure all companion ae's are turned off. No problem, and any gankers get frustrated that I simply ignore them and keep blasting away at my mobs.
  10. I've done this event on my level 22 Vanguard and 23 Sniper and haven't had any problems. All mobs scale to your level once you agro them. The only incident I can remember is losing track of which mobs were mine and accidentally targeting a higher level mob a 55 player was battling. My mistake and I ended up running but I survived. After that, I was a little more careful. Those two lowbies of mine have each gained 3 levels from just doing the dailies down there since Tuesday. Been a nice change of pace.
  11. The mobs in the infected tunnels scale to your level. I did the Rakghoul dailies on both my level 22 Vanguard and level 23 Sniper (after I did them on my 55's) and the mobs adjusted to my level when I attacked them. Went through them all (except the H4, which I did not do on them) without any trouble at all. The only problem I faced were the special yellow-con mobs that periodically spawn in a couple places. They were level 50, regardless of hitting them on my 22 or my 55.
  12. Sage / Inquisitor only needs 3 abilities: 1) Bubble 2) Heal 3) Telekinetic Throw / Force Lightning (specced high enough in Balance/Madness so it no longer has a cooldown).
  13. The first Rakghoul event started out on Tatooine, which is also a "leveling" planet. It turned out fine. It'll be fine on Alderaan too.
  14. Anyone else get the impression that Korriban felt smaller and more compact than the others? Great mood and atmosphere, though. Tython felt more spread out and larger. Ord Mantel felt more alive than any of the others. Hutta made me feel like I was slowly dying of toxic poisoning - which is exactly how it was supposed to! I kind of liked them all.
  15. I got the black/green crystal on one of my characters during the original Rakghoul event. As far as I know, that seems to be the only place/time it was offered. Perhaps it will come up again with the next Rakghoul event being planned.
  16. Yeah I try to launch the game and...nothing. So I tried a few times. This last time, I ctrl-alt-del and watched as swtor.exe simply disappeared. How wonderful...
  17. Hmm, I did it on 4 characters (after numerous deaths for each attempt...frustrating...) but it always took for me once I reached and clicked on the datacron. Might want to submit a ticket and see what (if anything) they can do for you.
  18. Exactly. I have any and all AoE attacks on a separate quickbar than all my other ones so I don't accidentally use them on a planet that has enemy players. I see them all the time popping up in packs of mobs I'm fighting, then stand there looking stupid when they realize I'm just single-targeting those mobs and going about doing my killing despite them.
  19. Not exactly. Back during the first Gree event, my Smuggler was only level 45 and I could go in and do all the solo quests just fine because my stats were bolstered in the Gree quest area. In fact, I would just do those, then leave my toon there to do them the next day, and so on, and leveled up to 50 just doing that in no time. Didn't even need any PL'ing. Course, I hear it's different this time around. Due to work constraints, I haven't been able to play, so I couldn't tell you how things are now.
  20. Empire and Jedi are both great movies, but for me, the original Star Wars (before it became A New Hope) is my favorite simply because it's the one that introduced me to this fantastic universe in the first place.
  21. I think the point trying to be made is something along the lines that PVE and PVP should be two separate animals. If people want to PVP, there are servers specifically catered to them. If they don't, then the PVE servers should not force pvp on the players just to complete whatever missions or events or dailies are offered. (Note: the Gree event could be done without any PVP at all, as that's how I did it and I still got enough to get halfway through the Hero rep and can simply wait till they bring it back to gain further points). Now, I know what people will say: if PVE'ers don't want PVP forced on them to do an event, it should be the same the other way around. I agree. What Bioware should do is formulate an event strictly for the PVP crowd and another event for the PVE crowd, with the rewards being the same. That way, you can get what gear they offer either way. No muss, no fuss. But I doubt they will.. :/
