  1. Minimum of 35% crit, and accuracy is really a useless stat anyway. I stack power, btw, also.
  2. KOTOR I for the story and content. KOTOR II for game design, and game enhancements over the original game.
  3. Bioware must of thought, IDK, that people with a higher valor rating, must have more experience so should be designated as the leader. Just really isn't true, it doesn't count for skill, Valor rating means nothing really. But if you are in a situation of being an Op Leader, and find your self in a team of scrubs, etc, there is no amount of leadership that will help you win, if the enemy team have better geared and skilled players. Yes I know a lot of this comes down to organisation, but people with very little expertise, just can't really make a team, if they are playing opposite a premade team of full War Heroes. Just my thoughts.
  4. Honestly, Shadows do nothing else but parry and deflect and still take damage, that skill would not be of any use to me personally. Just wouldn't use it to be honest
  5. really, please play a melee class and come back to us.
  6. Please first of all, by NOT wearing PVP gear to begin with your actually no use to the rest of your 'team' they may as well be playing 7 V 8 or how many scrubs there are, that are actually not contributing anything but free kills for the enemy players. I for one will not carry players like you, if your there, I leave. I won't play Warzone's with people with little or no Expertise anyway. Raid gear, does not help you in PVP, EXPERTISE helps you. Some how I am probably wasting my time saying this again,.. but never mind.
  7. where you around in 1.1 ? we did have tank healers back then that could easily take on multiple attackers. They got nerfed, and now Tanks in their proper role, should protect healers. I do not agree with OP on any of his points, Interrupts are vital in many situations and often do 'not' actually even last long enough to do much difference. with out regular ability to use interrupts, then abilities that use AOE, will be basically un stoppable, and are already causing zerg fests anyway as it is in many WZ matches.
  8. Your dps shouldn't be that low for a dps operative, you should be able to do some insane damage. How far are you with it ?! make sure you have the best gear etc, and use the right rotations, to get your burst up.
  9. Nothing surprises me here. Just another slap in the face for honest players, who do want to play the game.
  10. I quite a few times, because I am not carrying a team, if I see the rest of the team are unable to get the objectives, and are getting steam rolled, then it tells me either they lack skill, or they lack gear and expertise to be able to even compete in that WZ. I can't carry a team of scrubs. No option but to leave the Warzone and re queue.
  11. Exactly correct, in my experience
  12. Nothing worth commenting on here, OP is full of self opinion, and subjective comments, that are not representative of everyone's views. Bile.
  13. I don't agree with this to be honest. Healers have already been toned down over successive updates, and with out them, as it mostly is 'anyway', is a dps fest, especially when there no healers to be found at all. Healers do make a difference, and they should be able to heal a team effectively. Otherwise why even have healers at all.. Some classes of healers still need tweaks, but nothing that would be completely detrimental to their role in a Warzone.
  14. Agreed. The other stuff about CS I don't agree with, the Back stab, is best from stealth (actually makes sense) you would stab some thing in the back, its what rogues do, right ?! - CS wouldn't make sense for this kind of attack. I am having difficulty more lately, wondering why bother with CS at all at times. I mostly use DS and saber strike anyway. Force cloak needs work, Cloak in PVP I swear the Mara's combat stealth works better at times. The main problem I find, is having to build up towards getting some kind of damage out put, it seems like its a matter of remembering step 1,2,3 its very predictable, and anyone who has studied the class, and Infiltrators and Assassins specced in Deception, know it is. Were easily shut down almost right away. A predictable class, like we used to be known as "typical run of the mill burst Shadows" or what ever.. shows that to be true. We don't have enough chance of escape either, for a class with light armour that's supposed to be melee, we certainly don't have enough defensive abilities. Anyway what ever you agree with, or disagree with, its unlikely Infiltration will ever be fixed, because its 'us' who are not playing this spec correctly. You can take the Developers word on that, please don't point fingers at me !
  15. hmm not really. You must be some where mistaken about that, in truth its Infiltration shadows, that have the lowest performing dps, and can't match numbers of other Melee classes, I think you may actually be comparing them to ranged dps, not your entire guild who play Melee classes also, Right ?
  16. I'm calling complete rubbish of the 300-400 kills thing. *cough* Really doubt that ! I got nothing really to add to this, because its really unbelievable this is just "another" thread about Organised War Hero teams, completing in War Zones. They earned their gear, and there are no rules about full war hero's forming teams for Ranked WZ's at all.. its a given, this is what its for, so you don't have the gear to compete in ranked, then you should be playing normal WZ's. I am sure I already saw all that mentioned, but I thought I would 're emphasise' that aspect of playing in Ranked.
  17. You can't separate Warzone's by type, lots of people have mixed gear. You can't separate them, by rank, because, oh yes, people have MIXED gear. not everyone has a full set of anything. See your entire suggestion hinges on the fact you think there is a huge gap in gear, and so should separate people accordingly. It's not possible to do that, when you look at the simple fact that if people have mixed gear, then they kind of slot in between all those places. War hero & Battlemaster tier... that I think is what we have no really, with Rated anyway. Although I am seeing an increase of teams being formed demanding players have no less than 1250 expertise for RWZ. The gear gap between BM and WH is not that big, very marginal.. its really not that big.
  18. Valor has nothing to do with anything. I'm sorry, Valor rating doesn't prove the skill of a player, just that they grinded through lots of pain to get to that valor level, I don't think medals and valor are even in any way related either. Side Note ! For those who say they have no sympathy for War heroes and our arguments, I say the same to you, I don't feel sympathy for you either. Be quiet, and earn your gear, like we had to. This is how it works in this game, you earn the right to wear the gear, you grind away for. You feel an achievement at the end of it as well, for knowing you stuck around a rid the storm, to get there. Even if PVP was normalised, I got level 61 gear, fresh 50s have level 49's or 51's - I will still steam roll you. So what was your point, ? you want to take away the gear I have played for, and earned ? please do me a favour and think about what your saying.
  19. Its a sad fact, Bioware have neglected Infiltration for so long, in this game, then tell the players "your not playing it right" I have used every possible rotation, combination in Shadow Technique in the Infiltration spec, and nothing, constitutes to what this developer said. If were supposed to play this a certain way, tell us the rotation, nothing I use works effectively. I end up being force starved in most rotations. Our force pool is so low, when it drops too low, we can't even use any decent melee strikes, and have to revert to our free saber strike. (Always misses more than it actually hits anything) thanks to the thing about accuracy. Many of the skills are still broken, stealth, black out, cloak often are broken easily by NPC's not respecting stealth, or a stealth level, I have the highest possible stealth points, but NPC's just as players can, still see you. By then you click on black out.. but the little battle icon still shows, but your still in stealth, and have NPC's chasing you around. This would be amusing if wasn't so stupid ! - OFC, you should really use black out any way when passing by NPC's I only usually use that if I am actually right near them, though. (Plus I won't use Resilience unless I got dotted anyway). Were described as a shutdown spec. Seriously, ?! how ? we don't have the resources for that, you nerfed our bursts, and didn't you also increase the force cost on some things too ? I know in 1.3 the same rotations I used in 1.2 are much harder to do. Unless you like wasting 5 seconds waiting for your back stab to become available, oh, wait ! - the NPC just woke up. ! Our low slash says it stuns for like 4 seconds.. I have seen the NPC wake up either instantly, or after 1-2 seconds on this. - But ! Thanks so much Bioware. Of course, its my fault. How silly of me..
  20. Mara/Sentinels have waaay to much utility and up time,. Plus you really don't need force camo it essentially makes you a stealth class. Camo is actually better than our force cloak, which is just plain ridiculous.
  21. I play a shadow (see sig) and I have had my accuracy at 105% base rating, before its current rating of 99% and to be honest, there is a noticeable difference in how you hit things. With 99% acc, I have seen my saber clearly miss right past a target, where with 105% it hit 100% of the time. if you don't mind the occasional misses for surge and crit, then its probably a good trade off. Really wouldn't go below 95% though at least !
  22. probably plays a Sentinel/Mara I don't think nerfing classes is the answer, and is never popular with the customers I think, personally.. start buffing 'other' classes this should help with what ever problems there is, as long as the buff's help classes in a way to deal with OP classes in a manageable way with out being OP itself.
  23. Infiltration Shadow - PVP 1. How do you think your Shadow spec is perceived by other classes? Were a joke. No one wants Infiltration shadows in PVE or PVP, unless there is no one else available. People think I am crazy for still playing this role. People think were easy to kill, so there for free kills for them. People I mean everyone, tells me about how crappy my DPS is playing in this spec as well, and we can't come close to other Melee damage specs. 2. How I perceive my class ? I am an Infiltration spec, I believe I should be able to easily by pass enemies to get to an objective unseen. To a large extent we can do this efficiently. However also refer to my notes on stealth. We should also be able to support other DPS classes effectively, without being sub par to them, if we have light armour, fine, but please we should have effective DPS, that can actually shut down some thing if its needed. 1) doesn't bring enough sustained or burst damage to PVP, and is definitely lower than other melee classes. 2) supposed to be a shutdown spec, how exactly is this possible when we do not have enough resources to complete a rotation of specific abilities than will do this efficiently. Force Management is a complete nightmare to try and work through, while we have to constantly watch our force pool, which is very low to even begin with. 3) Stealth. Blackout, and Cloak, are very easily broken and you are pulled from stealth if so much as some one sneezes nearby you. The Escape mechanism should really be looked at here, as the CD's on these are fairly long, considering this class is supposed to be a hit and run, and fade away class. Even the Sentinels cloak ability is more efficient here than ours !! 4) Resilience, and Force of Will CD's are a little too long in a PVP environment, where constant stuns, and roots happen several times, before you can either decide to blow your CD's and hope you can escape the mess, or judge this badly, and find yourself unable to move or even escape from the situation, ok so, fine.. I just get rooted or perma stunned instead, and I get to watch a full minute of this, and enjoy my time being waisted. 5) Force wave, is it me, or does this so called wave not throw very far ?? - I see Jedi Knights/Warriors use some thing like this, and theirs seem to throw much further than our force wave. Its really ridiculous the short distance I see people get thrown when I use this ability, so I seldom use it. Besides which much of the time it still passes right through enemies anyway, and are unaffected anyway. My feedback, for your enjoyment
  24. Please ignore this thread. Seriously, several classes NEED stealth in order to hit and run and escape, its by their very nature of what their class is designed for. Taking stealthers down, is not hard to do either when your teams are butting down dots, and AOE damage.
  25. of course expertise is everything, since 1.2 that is your primary stat you need for PVP anyway. I see a lot of these questions, and people are walking into PVP with PVE gear thinking this is 1.1 of the game ! may of been ok back then, but not since 1.2 where you really need expertise now, in order to complete properly against other geared players.
