  1. Initially when I started playing WZ's I specced my Merc. DPS. Due to the HUGE gap in damage and survivability between gear sets I figured DPS was a better route to go since I already was getting demolished, I didn't want to get focused and demolished. I continued this spec into Battlemaster PvP gear and chose the Eliminator set. I'm now ready to start trading in my Battlemaster gear for War Hero gear, but since my survivability has improved somewhat I would like to respec back to heals and get the Combat Medic set... BUT I CAN'T. I can only trade in my current set for the equivalent War Hero Eliminator set! In other words I'd have to obtain a whole new set of Battlemaster gear to get the right set in War Hero. Pardon my French, but F**K THAT! There are a number of things about PvP in this game that need to be reworked. Primarily issues with class balancing, which have yet gone untouched (ex. Mercs wear heavy body armor and yet remain one of the squishiest classes in the game and on top of that they don't have enough counters and interrupts to ward off attackers, Marauders/Sents are PvP gods, and since when does a kick to the groin or a quick punch do more damage than a missile to the face). As I improve these things are less of a problem, but the gear swap for me is a deal breaker. I'm a casual player, I can't spend 15-20+ hours a week playing an MMO, so there's no way I'm grinding out another BM set just to get the right War Hero set for my current spec. and, therefore, progression/gratification is at a stand still. Here's hoping GW2 is more on the ball.
  2. I agree that some major things need to be reworked. The items you mentioned only scratch the surface, but there seems to be no mention of changes coming soon by the BioWare team, and if it doesn't, you're right, people will flock to GW2 or back to WoW.
  3. All I have to say is that I've had to role a new class just to be viable in PvP and/or PvE. Mercs are drastically under-powered and need significant boosts in damage and healing and some skill additions (i.e. more CCs and interupts and a better HoT) .

    Commando in PvP

There needs to be a significant boost in Commando/Mercenary DPS and Heals and/or a nerf of force user damage.

    Mercs need help!

Look, I know many of you are going to read this and just say I'm whining, or L2P, or stop QQing, or whatever...but MERCS NEED HELP! As a BH DPS or Healer I feel so inadequately armed for PvP combat. I'm also rocking about 1000 expertise and I know I should be in the 1200-1300 range, but at 1000 I'm still getting demolished. There needs to be a more graduated scale for PvP gear=survivability. Players with full recruit gear should still have a fighting chance. I was literally dieing in 1 or 2 hits! Now it's maybe 3 or 4. Whatever the issue is here, it's bad, and things need to be balanced out, whether it's easing up on certain class' damage or strengthening resilliance...or I guess we could all just roll Marauders/Sentinels and Operatives/Smugglers.
  6. Judging by the response I've gotten from random groups, Merc. healers cannot adequately main heal HMs or OPs unless ridiculously geared and our DPS isn't sufficient enough to take on that role either. I can dish out some pretty good DPS despite my healing tree spec., and you'd think a party would welcome that +off-heals, not so much. It's like unheard of for a healer spec. to try to DPS or something...instant boot! Merc. healers need help and I'm not just whining, this is a serious problem. Are we just supposed to fall into a permanent support role?

    Nerf stealth!!!

You're missing the point. Typical. How does it make ANY sense to allow stealth on a mount, unless your mount is equipped with a cloaking device...can I get one of those please, no, oh okay.

    Nerf stealth!!!

Hater's gonna hate. PvP is already terrible enough in this game...it's just a choppy mess of players appearing disappearing, glitching, getting hit in the head with rocks...horrific! (...or at least stop allowing them to stealth or be stealthed while on a vehicle, sheesh.)
  9. I want an option to undo the color matching!
  10. The pigs, what are they called? I agree though, there needs to be a better variety of character models,
  11. This is just a simple suggestion to color-code available mission icons over NPC's heads. (ex. Grayed-out for low level, Blue for repeatable/dailies, etc.) P.S. I'd also like to see some space missions that aren't just continuous mouse clicking.
  12. You're right, I am being nitpicky, but I've played enough MMOs to know what good mechanics are. You make a valid point for many of these, maybe it's just not for me. I thought with the time constraints I now have I'd be more excited to play when I could, but I'm simply not. EDIT: I should have clarified when I said humanoid, I simply mean races with more defined features and what I meant by the FP gear imbalance is that I could run through a FP and receive gear that was 10x better than what I was receiving for heroic or class specific quests at an equivalent level, or even what I could get with commendations. Yes, it's more difficult to run FPs on a player skill basis, but it's next to impossible with poor server population or general disinterest.
  13. I've been really disappointed with SWOTOR so far. I was greatly anticipating this game, I'm a HUGE SW fan, but I'm already bored with it. 1. Quest cut scenes on EVERY quest drag out the gameply. Leave for main storyline, heroics, and FPs only. 2. I'm level 42 and have still not run into any members of the opposing faction. I rarely see members of my own faction, it's like playing in a ghost town. 3. It's practically impossible to find groups for heroics and flashpoints. 4. PvP is terrible. Too fast, choppy, and 'frantic' with no real directive and an unbalance between the classes. Also needs level tiers. 5. Not enough variety in the races. They're all humanoid. 6. There should be one or two more classes for more variety between players. 7. General quests are mundane. 8. Still a ton of mob glitches and cut scene glitches. 9. Gear received from mobs needs to be better. Flashpoint gear is sooo much better than anything else you can get at an even level requirement. This should be more balanced. 10. The game runs increasingly poor as I progress on my PC. I more than meet the system specs., but have to play on very low quality graphics for smooth gameplay. 11. Travel between planet and fleet is tiresome. I'm sure there are more, but that's all I can think of off the top of my head. Sadly without fixes to at least some of these I will not be continuing my sub.
