  1. Entered my Pre order code on the 2nd of Dec - because it basically took Zavvi 4 days to cough up my code, that after I was on the phone to them twice.
  2. I was going to use Game Station. But chose Zavvi instead. They delayed sending my code out, first phone call they said they are sent out within a few days, few days later - nothing. We phoned again, and a very kind operator did sort the problem out, and I got the code via email by the end of that day. So it took me 4 days to get my code and then register it.
  3. I should think so ? - during the beta I saw several other slots for other characters on the one account when I was on the home acreen.
  4. I did my pre order late November BUT the company I ordered from where messing around taking their time about it to get me my Pre Order access code, wasn't able to submit that code until the 2nd of Dec.
  5. I'll cancel my pre order probably. Then buy it on the 20th from local retailer. I wish they had been more clear about how this system would work, I would of attempted to pre order much earlier, than I did (November). All this has served to do, is cost my online retailer who took my order, a customer, as they won't get a sale, and me loosing some respect in Bioware. The idea of staggering deployment with early access as a reward sounds great, they way they are going about it - is not great,. Really ? I don't recall seeing anything about that. I have visited this website pretty much every week for several months now.
  6. I hope we see a couple of servers on in the UK, I am a little worried with the lag being connected to a U.S server. During the beta weekend I was on a french server which was pretty good - very little lag. It crashed a couple of times mind you, but hey, as long as we have some UK / EU servers on that are stable then cool. I wouldn't agree the primary player base is in the U.S this wouldn't make much marketing sense now would it ? - EA Game want to make money, so SWTOR has to be available in the supported regions, and provide a reasonable service.
  7. I predict in 12 months + SWTOR will go Free 2 play also.
  8. Not that its anyone business, but some people have to pay bills in the real world, and buy FOOD. This is BEFORE personal luxuries. I didn't pre order sooner because of those reasons. Can you imagine if everyone HAD all pre ordered at ONCE ? - where does your argument fit into that ?? - this would mean what exactly - everyone would of had to of all been given access together at once ? - as we know that wouldn't happen either because of the stress it would put on the servers. It does NOT matter when you pre ordered, it only matters that the wave of invites is particularly slow.
  9. QFT: I second that. While its amusing to read these constant battles between the trolls and dissatisfied customers, it is now really starting to look bad for the image of the forum. I am sure some of us at least are a bit fed up with it by now. I have been wondering to myself what motivates people into defending Bioware's roll out of the game, as well as the Rage Quitting and demands for access now type posts. Reading both sides of the argument, and I can see the points of view from all sides of this, I have to say as a customer, who also pre ordered, Bioware WAS probably some what vague at first about how and when things would happen, often saying "details would be released later" Personally as things turn out with the staggered email invites for getting access to the game, I think it does feel like Bioware are discriminating against those by using a "first come first served policy". While many people feel thats a fair policy, it would be if the process of inviting people back into the game, was handled better. The one aspect of this that I find disappointing is the fact that I pre ordered with the aim of getting early access, not really bothered about a free light saber crystal.. to find that Bioware are basically not shipping Pre orders till on the day of the 20th of Dec. This means I could of restrained myself from pre ordering, and bought the game on the day from a local retailer. This doesn't seem to be rewarding pre order customers to me. I think peoples concerns are perfectly legitimate and I too might start flagging Trolls and people provoking people who are genuinely upset by the way they feel they are being treated by Bioware. I understand EA games and Bioware have some pretty hard core fans, that despite any marketing flaws usually defend the company position no matter what. just my 2 cents.
