I would be fine with snipers having stealth - snipers are not some one you would ever see coming, besides I have stealth detection as well as many classes, if your close to one, and they don't see you, then its a dead sniper anyway.

I believe you, plus I am in War Hero gear, I can get 3 shotted in 3 seconds, its true. A Sage healer saw this happen not too long ago, (I have 17K HP) by the way. You wear tissue paper armour, and were not supposed to be in the middle of group fights, but rather fight people on the fringes of a battle field, picking off targets carefully apparently. Were 'supposed' to be a shut down spec, as amusing as that even sounds to me

those same ranked teams that faceroll you anyway, also queue for normal warzones too, just in case you forgot that ! I like normal WZ's I think rated would be too stressful, you can get worked up enough in a normal one anyway, so rated would be much worse. I wouldn't ever entertain the idea of rated until I have full war hero and all that is fully augmented anyway.

I am on the same server as that shadow I it seems, with the Warmongers guild, the guild I am with have faced off against them a few times, can't really say anything great or positive about Warmongers, other than the fact from what I have heard, they could well be cheating. I am not throwing around accusations, but, just saying its possible. People should be considered innocent though until found guilty, however from what the OP explained, I have seen this many times myself, with out explanation how they can break so many things, while only having one CC breaker. I am talking about Warriors here, that are engaged in combat as well, because I have thrown several stuns and CC's at that class, and most time they work on mara's and Juggernaughts, but against some, a minority they have no affect at all. Not exaggerating, I have seen this sort of thing happen 'in combat' as well as when they are out of it. (nope not referring to when they did some leap) either, this is just plain old melee fighting, not just after they leaped. Not pointing any fingers, just thinking this is a possible exploit or cheat.

hi !, very interesting read, I am a shadow Infiltrator (I know) I came to spy on your forum but I was told by an experienced player with MMO's that I needed to stack power, I have been told this several times, as it supposed to be better for use playing in the dps specs. I find what you guys are saying really, very much a surprise, and the expense you go to to install power or willpower augments is like a money hole in the end. I'll certainly might look at Augment replacements though to see if this is fact better than my currently stacked power.

OP: A very well thought out post, plus several other comments by fellow shadows in the Infiltration tree. I am really surprised at what this developer said, and clearly doesn't care about what the Shadow/Assassin community think. I am really feeling empty on this, I was hoping some one could come and rescue this skill tree from the bin, but clearly, they have no intentions of ever fixing it. So sad.. No I don't want to tank, your only leaving me with the option now of a Infiltration/Balance spec hybrid. ok, it plays very nice, but its not full Infiltration which I love to play.. Sadly, our DPS just isn't up to spec compared to other melee classes, but sure, you just want us to hit and run, I am fine with that, and yes I do that in PVP all the time, thanks, so why the long CD's on our escape mechanisms then ??

I completely agree, ! I earned the BM gear, we shouldn't of had to trade it in for WH gear. Plain stupid really.. As for the other things in this thread, I do see your points, but I think there should be the valor requirement to wear BM gear, not just that your level 50. To otherwise get BM gear with very low valor, (below 50) at least doesn't seem to me like you really earned some thing to use, that's really going to put you 'above' the woes for recruit gear. Recruit gear is only supposed to be a starter set, don't forget that, and to be honest ? you should really knuckle down and earn that gear you want to wear as we have who are now in War Hero or Battle master gear, when we DID have to grind for comms, in bags for the hope of gathering up enough comms to actually buy some thing. Your not entitled to anything, earn your place in PVP. ( I know you got a family and kids) but you still need to play the game as well do.

Really makes no sense, your just replacing grinding PVP gear for PVE gear. Really, I don't think this is well thought out to be honest. People in Raid gear, as it was in pre 1.2 would also dominate Warzones.

exactly this. I this the Op really needs a F2P game where you have to pay for everything like I did playing DA: Legends. I really like SWTOR the way it is to be honest.

yeah well, this happened to me too last night, refer to my other post on this too. Stun locked to death literally, my guild friend, was healing me the whole time, tried to keep me alive.. nope. ! If its a bug or glitch its one they know about and are exploiting it. Its a perma stun, so lasts for a while. (wasn't counting) sorry

yes happened to me last night, on our server. Exact same thing, then they were nice enough to push me into the fire pit too ! lovely job guys !! good for u !

Actually I often find, its you guys who turn up two seconds later, and assume the kills were yours to take anyway. Your just pissy because of stealth classes. Its equally gutless to see a stealther appear from cover, to attack their first NPC, to find some ones just decided to jump in 2 seconds later to steal those kills. Even more so, to watch people deliberately wait until you have nearly killed the NPCs then decide to take the kill for yourself. Hey !! there is no effort involved with that, so good for u !

Recruit gear, is NOT garbage, its actually better than the gear I had to grind for when I first worked towards Battle master gear. We had to grind for Centurion, and Champion gear, the recruit gear, is better than those gear sets, so please don't tell people its garbage, when in comparison to older PVP gear we had to grind for, was in fact worse. thank you !

in groups, people don't usually like it when you 'need' for everything anyway. Just don't do it !! - from the story the OP explained, its really one of many. I was in one group for an heroic recently, where the guys I was in a group with, didn't understand how to operate as a team, and would not CC anything. Of course the healer died in seconds.. Experiences like that put me off wanting to group at all with anyone to be honest, its not just a matter of playing at a certain level, its understanding how to play the mission. If people don't know, or haven't done it before, really need to say before hand, so they can be walked through 'how to' do the mission. I am not worried if some one is lesser geared, or has lesser experience, just that so the group know, so they can be helped on their first runs. See this so many times ! - really NOT funny. Try Black Hole dailies.. yes you know who you are

what ever to this, I have been 3 shot killed in a mix a BM/War Hero gear fully Augmented too. 5 shots really, would love to even see that.

Hello mirror class ! To be honest, I don't even think people should be playing PVE content in an open world situation, on a PVP server, and not 'be geared' to do so. People who play PVE on the PVP servers, always should be prepared for that fact, that they will have to at some point in the day, face off against enemy players. If they really don't like this and QQ about not being able to do their dailies, people sit in the base and wont go out, until the enemy has gone home. Seriously ?! they are on a PVP server, and complain that people are doing PVP in their dailies quest area. People just need to get the right gear, and be ready for what happens.

Huttball is the worst for this I recall, from the last time I played it after 1.3 was released, but, saying this, I also 'do' think other War Zones ARE affected too, but they are not as severe. But none the less, all WZ's have been pretty un playable. on Freedom of Nadd Server I took a break waiting for BW to respond to this, and do some thing !!

I agree entirely with this. Nerf's are never good and annoy players, not to mention, when you happen to be one of those classes mentioned here.

Hey there, I'm also from that server too, I concur with what this guy is saying, because this is the very reason I have had to take another 'break' from War zones. I can just about manage some limited Open world PVP, but yes the lag is very bad on our server in general every where. It all started after 1.3 was released, yeap.

I find several problems with this daily myself, the re spawn on the boxes is way too slow, not to mention the cages on the quests for this daily. Its causing a bottle neck of players who are waiting around to try and complete their objectives, to find that there is then a mad rush from everyone standing near by to try and get to the cages or boxes first. Other peeves I have.. players. Some players are rude, and wait around to 'steal' kills from other players, they wait till the NPC's are half dead, then rush in to make the final kill, thus taking the credit for the kill at only half the work. That to b honest is bad player behaviour as far as I am concerned and shows lack of consideration to other players trying to also do their own daily. Of course their is also accusations of stealing objectives from people too, as well as loot boxes people worked for to get the rewards from. I am not interested in opinions on grouping up and what ever, this is general player attitudes and behaviour to other players. The best suggestion here is to try another instance, its probably the way to resolve this - although won't guarantee you won't find people on that instance either doing the same things.

never mind operatives, Infiltration/Deception needs buffs too. I want a gap closer too or better defensive abilities
