  1. Only problem I noticed was that RS wasn't going off quite often in EV. But EV has so many bugs/lag anyways I don't think it's a PT issue.

  3. Understood, but if you save it for when you lose aggro you get a nice little bump in total threat. Threat in this game is a bit more challenging than Rift or Wow, to be sure.
  4. Why would you open with Sonic Missile? DoA (if off CD), flame sweep, oil slick, carbonize, FT. Sonic Missile if you're losing mobs. Really, the only problem I have with aggro is sustained AOE (sometimes) and the lack of target of target (especially with circular droids, who are they facing?). CC... would be nice to have a 60 second CC, but I'm pretty sure we're not the only AC without one. Heat is fine unless you're trying to spam flame sweep, which is underwhelming and high heat. Be nice if shoulder slam was usable more, but every class has some free, 45 sec CD ability that can only be used on normal/strong mobs. And why would you use Neural Dart on CD? If you lose aggro you pop it and gain threat (at least 10% since it takes 110% in melee range to pull, 130% at range). Single target I've never had threat issues. Our Juggernaut, on the other hand...

  6. I love the laugh. Everyone can hear it. That and the operative laugh whenever their hot gives tactical advantage (I think that's what does it). My raid is full of laughs.
  7. This. And Missile Blast should be removed from your action bars as soon as you feel you are comfortable with your amount of 30m ranged abilities. It's a terrible ability due to the damage/heat ratio. Once you get grapple and carbonize using FT becomes much easier. You can get off a RS using the explosive dart on normal mobs since they're incapacitated. Until you get a reliable dot (IGC for ST, RB for AP, FB for Pyro) you won't use it as much as you will later (every CD).
  8. This is correct. Look at the entire builds and see what you like. Looking at just 11 points in Pyro is short-sighted because no one is advocating an X/X/11 build.
  9. Zomg just read the rest of this thread. OP is conflating a couple of different things. Is PT Pyro better than Merc Pyro? It's subjective, but probably yes. Can PT Pyro sit back at 30m and be as effective (or even 50% as effective) as Merc Pyro? Lol no. Different. Classes. Are. Different.
  10. This. Having 30m abilities does not mean sitting at 30m and "pew pew"ing to great effect. PT Pyrotech is nice because it has some effectiveness at range, but it's still a 4-10m class.

  12. I don't understand why they made so many bosses 1 tankable. It seems like every MMO has this problem, but with only 4 man flashpoints it honestly seems worse in this game.
  13. There's a lot wrong with PVP, and no one likes getting put into losing WZs back to back to back. But OP is a bit out of line. However, the issue of not getting credit for wins just sucks hard, and it's still not fixed. Lol patch notes.

  15. Not getting credit for dailies. RNG gearing. Immobilization not affected by Resolve. Plethora of CC in general. Ilum just terrible (why not make it a Wintergrasp style event?). Ability lag (improved, I'll admit). Huttball announcer. Huttball (yes, I'm Empire... guess I should have known in November when my guild picked).
  16. If you look at the patch notes and look at what they say is fixed, it is almost without fail the exact things that are broken. Weekly raid quest credit (fixed finally), the daily/weekly pvp credit (still an issue? lol). I'm trying so hard to maintain faith in this game, but I'm probably not renewing. Most of my guild is out, and it's all because of the plethora of bugs.

    I give BW a lot of leeway on things that are complicated, like class balancing, some of the encounter bugs with phases, etc... I'm not a programmer but I know that some things are not easy fixes. This is pure BS. I'm sorry, but I will not buy that it's hard to add a plus to the quest of the people who are labeled as victors. It's a binary condition. Either you're on the winning team at the end or not.

  19. See, I was expecting this in the first post based on the title. It's "why is such as such a problem for you, I never have problems." It's a humble-brag, which is fine, but it is what it is. The fact that you waited for a reply was clever, so kudos to you. Good bait.
  20. This. With no diminishing return as the bar is almost full you can eat a lot of CC. Should be a sliding scale. Being a pixel short of full resolve and eating a full stun sucks.
  21. He seems to be a very persistent troll. I agree about that particular hybrid spec, but wow what a terrible messenger. No wonder people in beta didn't like him.
  22. Flame sweep is useful as a tank in PVE to apply the 4% debuff to a group of enemies.
  23. Missile Blast has to go. Shoulder Slam... I like it, but it's okay to let go. The ED/SS combo is nice on normal mobs for a quick kill. The 20 min CD is useful to have on an action bar somewhere, but no need to keybind. Buff/Sprint don't need a keybind. I keep Recuperate on a keybind and use it quick/often after combat.
