  1. It's not sexy, but it's a very good talent. Calling it terrible is wrong. Any move that dumps heat is very useful when worked into a rotation. And comparing talent to talent isn't very useful; compare the entire package of talents and abilities.
  2. Grapple fails all the time in PVP. It goes off, but then because it does it's pull on WZ lag time, gets LOS'd essentially, putting the 45 sec CD up and smashing your dreams.
  3. We need better CDs, but amg would that be OP.
  4. I use that build for HM flashpoints and raids (I tank trash and when needed on some EV bosses, but otherwise dps). The dps it does is fine. Just have to learn to fish for procs and manage heat. It's a bit streaky, though, but I pull aggro constantly with CGC on.
  5. Probably not the class for you. It's not hard to manage. You should not go over 40 heat in almost any situation. Heat management is part of the class and this does not go away at endgame. If anything, it requires more management. If you're leveling Pyro, the heat management is not great, tbh.
  6. You shouldn't go over 50 heat if Vent Heat is on CD. Mixing in a Rapid Shots early >>>>>>>>> overheating.
  7. His dialogue/voice is designed for teenage girls to adore. Thus, I do not use him.
  8. PTs are good in PVP. The best part is the variety of ranged abilities for lag/kiting/etc... They have a different tool set. If you're bad at heat management or suffer from tunnel vision you can end up in a pickle.
  9. My guild usually looks for 1 dps for operations and we always want a sniper for gear drop diversity if nothing else.
  10. If your tank is built around Pyro, then yes it's bad for tanking. If it's at least 21 in ST (with the appropriate talents), it's fine.
  11. Use the Carolina Parakeet build, use CGC, and have fun with RS procs (and the laugh).
  12. Since Grapple usually fails in Huttball, I imagine the hate mail would be from my own team. So no.
  13. I still get chain laughing (when RS CD reset procs, character laughs) all the time as a Carolina Parakeet. Seems to be working fine.
  14. Changed my graphics from Windowed to Fullscreen. Was wondering why my alt-tabbing took so long. Why would a patch change settings like that? Is there a reason from the developer side?
  15. Rogues are the least popular class in Wow and have been for a long time, actually. Operatives are fun to play, but involved. Talk about running out of hotkeys. Lack of movie inspiration doesn't help, either.
  16. I use it quite a bit if I can hit 3+ mobs. Less damage taken. Can usually get in a good FT before they move around (hits for about 1k/tick). Explosive dart and Unload on ranged regular mobs for the CC effect. Seriously, though, Carbonite Spray is amazing.
  17. I would take Kolto Vents over Power Armor, personally.
  18. Yup. I run CGC to PVE as dps in HM flashpoints and ops when we don't need a second tank.
  19. This. It's an irritating change, but not a nerf.
  20. You can pick up Rebraced Armor (lose 6% aim) and Combust (lose 2 points in either tier 1). As a dpser in this spec I love having Combust for 4% less boss damage to my tank while getting CGC procs and also fishing for RS procs, which helps heat management.
  21. Tier 1 talent in Pyro to have FB always proc it. If you're ever going to use CGC I would recommend it over lol 3% endurance. I used this build on a full clear of EV/HH today, plus several HM FPs (as dps). Works fine. Plays different, getting used to playing riskier with heat is interesting.
  22. 8, Bob. 8? Yes, 8. Even operations (except this week when I got all but chest for columni gear).
  23. Shield Tech and hybrids with 21 in ST are very mobile. Others, less so. Lots of instants/ranged, etc... very fun. ST one of the most mobile classes in the game.
  24. ^ I respect that you're being helpful. Of course I'm doing all that. I still think Unload is worthwhile, although back of napkin math is close. The trash in FE is fun, but by far the most difficult part of that place. I love the challenge. I'm just saying that Juggs have so many less tools for spread out mobs, knockbacks with slows, parachuting in mobs 25m away, etc... When I solo tanked it we used no CC, so it was a fun challenge trying to keep control over 2 elites plus 3-4 strongs, all spread out.
