  1. Something is. I get stunned all the time with a full resolve bar in Huttball. Also, lol Huttball. Insta-leave. Thanks no deserter debuff.
  2. Lol resolve bar. Use it? You can't "use it". Best you can do is time it with your break. CC breaker on my bar, used a lot.
  3. Disappointing. It's nice for me as a PT tank to explode dart thing a regular and shoulder slam. Sets off the charge and grabs aggro on the area. Outside of that, meh.
  4. Sorcerer Mercenary Assassin Juggernaut Powertech Operative Marauder Sniper
  5. I love them. They're cheesy, easy, and something different. However, in about a month I think I will almost never do them until new ones are released.
  6. Normal EV is doable in basically lvl 50 blues. Dailies (including the 2 man heroic) for a week will get you lvl 51 armoring/enhancements. PVP... I'd just do the daily/weekly quests. If you do all those you get 20 bags/week, which will probably get you several pieces. I've gotten chest/head/weapon from 15 bags, plus tokens to buy offhand T1 pvp. Great way to replace weak pieces. A couple of purples from crafting and you have more than enough for normal EV, which is ridiculously easy.
  7. Just wanted to add that I've heard, anecdotally, that the HM FP bosses are tougher than normal mode EV. We got 4 bosses down without knowing strats, having multiple disconnects, and a dps that just dinged 50 right before he entered (not to mention lots of other undergearing). Also, meters please. Just UI improvements in general. No target of target as a tank sucks with trash.
  8. This is absolutely correct. It wastes stat points for expertise, but it's a small part of the budget. Champion PVP gear is T2, about on par (if not better) than the T1 PVE gear I got. Upgrades are upgrades regardless of what the source or how much wasted stat budget.
  9. For leveling, you don't need the reusable for each tier. I got the reusable medpac each tier, and every other tier for a stim, alternating with an adrenal. So, for the third tier I got the reusable medpac, reusable aim stim, and used my second tier armor adrenal. Once you get to implants, I would highly recommend you do not bother even going for the blues. You get new implants every 4-5 levels anyways that are even better than the purples. If you have extra mats from just leveling Diplomacy and doing ZERO Bioanalysis missions, you will have plenty of money. I had over 400k after training everything at 50, including the mount training and a 99k mount plus an extra bank tab and three bag slots. Once you hit 50, be aware that the Rakata reusable medpac, stims, and adrenals each take a mat that drops from Operations (all bosses) and hard mode flashpoint end bosses only. All crafting professions require these, so good luck on your rolls. Implants at 50 (technically 49) can take forever to get the purple version. I RE'd 35 blue versions of my implant to get the purple, but have since gotten four other purple implants with a total of about 30 RE's. So, RNG, but definitely took more attempts that stims/medpacs when leveling.
  10. Lol we had a healer fall off the platform before SOA, then die twice getting off the speeder coming back. Was about 15 wasted mins.
  11. Nope. Also, one of our groups (4/8 people) did not get credit for the weekly boss kill.
  12. I would like mods. I just don't trust Bioware to get it right, to be honest. I know the game is just out, but not having target of target, or mouseover healing, or resizing/moving UI, etc... is just not acceptable in 2011. Rift had a pretty good UI (had other problems). Could move/resize things. Could import different settings to alts (or all settings). Had target of target. Allowing addons does not mean allowing any/all addons. Can be done smartly. But the vast community will come to better/more solutions than Bioware.
  13. 2 hours tops. Everything, front and back end, must be in the patch notes for players. Clearly, you know everything there is to know. Congrats! Maybe you know some other things. How long should it take me to write a 40 page A-paper? I use footnotes, Bluebook style, probably going to be about 100 sources (but could vary greatly based on what my research turns up). Hoping to publish, but don't need a grade on it so I'm thinking maybe I can slack and screw the idea of publishing. The game is new and has bugs. These must be addressed. Having a few hours of downtime a week after launch seems pretty reasonable to me. I certainly am not going to declare how much time (tops!) this should take.
  14. -1579, 310 are the coords for the first part. I had to reset the quest.
  15. Same, can't find Republic Satellite Outpost. However, I was able to get the lag hiccups stopped by turning off quest tracking. Runs smooth, but I'm still stuck. I went to the camp area north of Crater on the main road (right as the road turns right into another zone). I searched the area, the house (even took out 2 elites at once inside, nice lore item in there) to no avail. Anyone have coords for the first part after the supply crate at Crater?
  16. Of course not. But I didn't want to download 20 GB to try a fresh install, either. It patches before you can play. And my downloaded copy was from the massive Thanksgiving beta, which Bioware said was good. FFS, you don't always have to act like you're on the Internet even when you're on.
  17. I have the same issue, also with guild chat. I think maybe with wargames chat as well. Anyways, I submitted a ticket and they said it's a known issue with a patch to fix it upcoming. Sucks because it's really hard to get anything done. I even got booted once b/c I didn't respond to party chat. Anyways, I got the hard copy today, so I uninstalled and reinstalled/patched. Same issue. WTB fix.
