So if I say Midnight on Tuesday that is Midnight going from the Monday into the Tuesday or in other terms 24 hour clock terms 00:00. Tuesday then runs from 00:00 to 23:59 and the next day would be midnight on the Wednesday. So it should have been running for 18 hours or so. However if I say 12PM, then that is in 24 hour clock terms 12:00 and mid-day. If that was the case then it should have been running for just under 7 hours. I mean it's Tuesday, all the weeklies have reset, so if this doesn't start for another 5 hours then there's not much point in doing anything today (for us non Americans it'll be after midnight by the time it starts 'today'). I realise the time in the events page states 4 PM PST/12 AM GMT but that's not the 'normal' start time (also 12AM GMT on the 22nd was more than 18 hours ago) and it makes no sense for that to be the start time so it's understandable for people to be confused by this. The event page says the event was aimed to start at 4PM Pacific, however, it is actually scheduled in game to start as of this morning (we often message a buffer in case we run into issues). AKA, it should have been on when we got out of maintenance. We are looking into why the event didn't turn on properly, I will let you know what we discover. Well, 4pm in one time zone is 12 am in the other, but BioWare has never been able to communicate these things correctly. Judging by Eric's post they even managed to confuse themselves. I can see local practice, and if used in an informal way such as with my friends I might mean midnight on Tuesday to be the evening. In my official capacity and at work, at midnight or 00:00 the date moves forward and any actions I take are now taking place on the new day. 23:59:59 is the last moment of the day and 24:00/00:00 is the new day. So my understanding with a professional organisation it would be the same, or they could use the 24 hour clock to avoid any confusion, though this probably isn't helped in they are using GMT which at the moment is correct for Iceland. I have tried this on 3 toons... fast traveling is fine, exiting to fleet etc is fine, just when I travel with U.... This has only happened after update... Or did you not even read my first post to begin with? They didn't take into account that some of us work early mornings and have to be getting to bed close to that time either. And nevermind the “PST” when all of the North America Pacific time is presently on PDT. And, anyway, Eric said they screwed up. Big surprise. I don't think it will be fixed any time soon, however it also affects access to the CM market (I've found both neither the cm button nor the Ctrl+M work).
