I quit using the physical key bcs I didn't want to take it to work with me just so I could log into the forums. I always have my phone with me. I've never had an issue with the app on iPhone.

Yep, mine was made in '09 and is currently borked as well. I don't foresee a fix coming anytime soon either.

No sir, still doesn't work for me. Last time I heard from CS they said my case had been elevated to the development team for review and would get back to me, which they haven't yet. I thought this might have been the fix but I guess not.

To be fair, I complain when I'm not getting any too.

With this account glitch you can't even get that far. It redirects before you can get to the checkout page where you can select or edit your card details. Even when I try to view my payment history it says cannot connect to EA Billing at this time please try again later. Yet if I go to ea.com my history shows my latest sub purchase. EA's last maintenance screwed something up with how our accounts are connected. Resetting the ea,com password works for some people but not for me. My EA account is only 3 years old whereas my swtor.com account is 10 years old. Something isn't syncing correctly.

OK I did that. I'm not sure how that'll help since they're different accounts. And I still get the maintenance page after doing it. Is there something I need to do here with this account?

Every time I try to buy coins for this May the 4th sale I get the maintenance page instead of the check out page. Even in game when I click add coins (yes, I have that enabled) it tells me error code 10 try again later. I bought 60 days sub time last week so it was working last week at least. I tested to see if it was just coins so I tried to add sub time and, again, got the maintenance page instead of the checkout page. I wonder if Keith and Co even know so I'm giving them the 411 because I haven't seen any communication here or the Twitter. And, no, it's not a cookies/cache thing. i cleared that. I tried different browsers, tried my phone, tried in game all the same result. I even started getting the maintenance page instead of the forums late last night so there's some communications problem on their end. The server hamsters need to be fed.

This will eventually happen when the population gets too small to segregate. It'll be a last resort sort of thing though because it's Star Wars. Probably one more server merger before this. Keeping the factions separate is fine for immersion and RP and all that but when you you don't have a big enough pool of players for group finder to function it'll happen. With that said though, when EQ2 did it there wasn't a shortage pf players but it really improved group play and guilds drastically.

Actually, it wasn't. I would know because I made that post. I don't remember dueling ever to be a big thing. Even during the first months of the game when there were people everywhere. I've never got a duel request. In beta people tried getting dueling going on fleet only to find out you can't duel on fleet. This game doesn't even have an auto decline setting because it's never been a thing. Maybe it was on PvP servers but not on the PvE ones.

There's something screwy (technical term) with this forum. Has been for a long time. Besides Dasty's banana hammock. I always start out secure (https) but as soon as I make a post it breaks and goes insecure (http).

They're better on cookie time. Also, on topic, I completely disagree with the OP. It doesn't hurt anyone to make suggestions. They (BW) might surprise you and do them once in a while. There's been plenty of times I've said oh that'll never happen and then it's in a later QoL update. Of course, there's been plenty of times I've said nope, the engine's a piece of crap, ain't happening and it's never happened. Point is, not everyone is a game design expert and telling people to stop making suggestions, even if they do seem out there in your expert opinion, is counterproductive and a bit a of a forum nazi. No one likes forum nazis.

Right. I know. You're being practical which is all fine and good. I used to be practical too. Which is why I also understand Dasty's play it for what it is approach. But... There's always a but. All I'm saying is we've been down this road before and we know how that has turned out, more than a few times. Take the wait and see approach enough times and you recognize a pattern. And you just know this same thread will be back, whether it's made by Lhance or someone else. I'm expecting it after release. That's how much faith I have in BW anymore. I'm probably not saying anything you don't already know either. You just haven't reached the same nope, I'm done with this **** point yet.
