Stronghold Decoration Suggestions

I haven't perused this entire thread from start to finish, so it's certainly probably that I'm repeating items already requested. That said:

 

Sith apprentice (preferably two: a choice between a human one and a non-Pureblood alien)

Non-Twi'lek dancers (since a few such pop up in the game and it would be good to potentially have some variety)

Gree technologist (if I'm going to be a Perfect Gold Bisector, then I might like to have a Gree hanging around)

Imperial officer

Small arrangements of people (like the clusters of 2-3 people you see hanging together in cantinas and such)

Some other ideas that occurred to me as I was playing around with layouts for my warrior's Sith academy:

 

A pair of sparring acolytes

Utility droids projecting character-sized holograms of different people (different droid for each, obviously): armored Sith Lord, robed Jedi Master, Republic general, Imperial moff, etc.

Jedi knight

Sith Lord or apprentice

Personnel attached to and working at computer work-stations

My ultimate dream list (yes, I know people may not want them and/or they may not be feasible, but I don't care):

1) PvP and PvE terminals/mission boxes

2) Operation/FP portals.

3) un-nerfed resource nodes

4) Regulator NPCs

5) dyeable NPCs so the NPCs can color match PCs or guilds.

6) an "Outlaw's Den"-style arena (with respect to flagging rules)

7) buildable features (stairs, platforms and such)--you could restrict to hooks

8) more decos that allow platforming opportunities

9) shuttles to planets

 

If I happened to be lucky enough to get any of these on my list, I wouldn't care if I couldn't have them all deployed at the same time.

I'd love the ability to "paint" the walls and we definitely need more rug options. I wish I'd taken a shot of it but somewhere near end game there's a room with hexagonal rugs in blue and green that would be great! There should be items from the lovely and serene Manaan, particularly crates, fountains (those water walls!), and weird trashcan-looking things just to the right of the gorgeous planter I would also love here.

 

While we're at it, what about more strongholds, on Voss and Alderaan specifically but why not Balmorra and Hoth, too? More variety is always good! And add some outdoor hooks in the grassy area between the landing pad and the Yavin 4 temple. I hate to have so much wasted space.

A Voss stronghold would be pretty fantastic. Also, I wouldn't say no to some Voss personnel (a diplomat, soldier, or even mystic, perhaps?), and maybe some odd bits of Gormak tech for decorations.

A large holo table like this! i saw someone asked but they had no picture, theres lots of different ones throughout the game but this one stood out cause of the holo. theres also one on the fleet vanguard ship that shows an imp fleet. I'd like to put this in my own SH but it would really be awesome in the guild FS maybe a bit bigger then this one. would be cool if it were interactable so that you could change the holo displayed like how the holocom emote shows something different everytime you pull it up. So switchable holos between a fleet battle, whats on the one in the pic and im pretty sure i seen one that showed a planet but not how the ilum or jedi talbe show one, i think it was also in the battle of rishi fp

It also occurs to me that I'd love to have a Gree-themed stronghold - something aesthetically akin to the interior of the Gray Secant. Maybe even with teleportation between the top and bottom levels.

I want to see damage added as a SH decoration. E.g. lightsaber slashes, claw marks, blaster scorches, etc.

 

I would also like to see patrolling soldiers/civilians to add to the SH ambiance. I want it to look busy and/or simply occupied. I like the medics, beggar and the new Mandolorian and Force-User SH NPCs, but I feel there is still a lack of civilian doing daily things (stacking boxes, taking inventory or even typing so I can better customize my BH terminal from the recent packs.

 

Addendum: Caged and roaming beasts from all over the galaxy would be insane. Having only mounts (with saddle and all) or puny little pets is discouraging for adding wildlife to a SH.

bring out a armor stand to display armor sets we have gotten make it a blank stand or a posed blank statue and make it so we can put on armor from our collections to display i mad this suggestion when strongholds frist came out and also why not make a Manaan stronghold there is not much to do on that planet but an above water and underwater stronghold would be awesome you could make the entrance to it a ship flies over the water and drops the submarine in the water and then almost get eaten by a big fish on the way to the stronghold you can make a good cut scene oh and also don't take away crafting from conquests Edited September 15, 2015 by ssgriffo

I have but a simple request.

I want phase shielding on my doorways that I can turn on and off.

I can't make my Dromund Kaas stronghold an RP prison for my Smuggler without it

I'd like to see more Alderaanian items in the Cartel Market. Back when packs were first coming out, we got some armor sets related to Alderaan Houses. When decos started coming out, we got banners for a few of them. But the list is incomplete:

 

-3 Houses don't have outfits (Teral, Cortess, Baliss) available. They also don't have decos like banners.

-2 Houses have outfits but need banners (Panteer, Organa)

 

These would be great additions. Other Alderaan items I'd like:

 

-The pretty fountains with plants around the edges

-The dome wall lights (in blue and yellow)

-The sculpture designs, like the kneeling robed figure with a blade, or the curvy figure holding a book

Droid guards! I would love to see some of the personnel have droid guards.

 

I would love to see some Wall mounted waterfalls. Sort of like the ones on Manaan but they fit on the wall slots like Republic/Imperial banners.

 

Pillars? Columns? Different kinds that you can put into your strongholds. Stone pillar's for Yavin 4, Steel for Kaas and what not.

 

It would be pretty cool to get interior upgrades as well! The imperial agent's ship is just saw cool on the inside...the BH's is more gritty. Why can't we get some options to change the default skins of the walls/floors even if they are cosmetics you need to buy via the cartel?

 

Lighting effects? For instance I would love to have the over all lighting in my Kaas City stronghold to be darker, so the Banners on the wall seem brighter and the lights give more of a glow.

 

Last suggestion, LOCKERS lets get a row of wall/gear lockers one or two level's high!

Fix the rug that is only a postage stamp size.

 

Some lights that were 25k are now selling for 300k on gtn. And you can't get them anymore. Even though Tat has 900 hooks now and there's Yavin 4.

 

just more decos in general because there are so many more options!!! and I concur about the other alderanian banners. And ones from fleet, ones from coruscant. There are many beautiful banners out there. C'mon folks. MORE!

• A single Imperial shuttle for use on a centerpiece hook.
  
• A single Republic shuttle for use on a centerpiece hook.
  
• A single neutral faction shuttle for use on a centerpiece hook. (Merc, civilian, etc.)
  
• A mixed assortment of shuttles from various factions for use on a starship hook. (Republic, Imperial, merc, etc.)
  
• Heavy assault droid guard NPCs, Republic, Imperial, and neutral. Bonus points if they go dormant when no one's around and then perk up when people enter range.
  
• Specimen cages for creatures. Wampa, tuk'ata, acklay, etc.
  
• Another type of large bar arrangement, since the Underworld Bar arrangement is no longer available. Perhaps Imperial and Republic versions this time?
  
• Cargo shipping containers. The large ones equivalent to the ones carried on cargo ships in real life.
  
• Sparring droid. Can be activated to function like a training dummy that can fight back.
  
• On the subject of sparring NPCs that can fight back, perhaps other kinds of sparring NPCs, such as Jedi, Sith, Mandalorians, etc.
  
• I sorely wish it were possible for there to be a template NPC that could be assigned the appearance of one of the player's own characters. I don't know what work that would involve to make happen, however, so I don't know how reasonable a request it is. But I would absolutely love it. Especially if it were purchasable directly from the Cartel Market.
  
• Another thing I'd absolutely love, but don't know how reasonable it is to ask for due to the work involved, are trophy racks that have slots to display actual items owned by the player, such as weapons or armor. Mainly weapons, such as setting up an armory look, or a Sith's trophy rack of Jedi lightsabers taken from defeated foes.
  
• Re-releases of discontinued decorations.

The lights are particularily nice! Adding them would be great especially since there is only 20 ceiling lights available.

 

I want all of those lights. I think some of them were even in the strongholds preview. I'd love them to be rep vendor or craftables.
