I know it will sound like e-bragging but really... HOW can you fail these? I didnt fail once til I did the 5th one the first time as I smashed into a big ***** rock.

the "destroy the enemy command ship" one is a bit tricky unless you just focus on your main objective.

If anything these are too easy.

Also. use barrel roll to avoid enemy fire.

I used to enjoy them. The experience was good and it was a good diversion.

That being said, once I got my character into the mid 40s, i could not longer do them. They just got way too difficult.

That may be due to the fact that I'm not the video game wizard I used to be lol (like my character, I am also in my 40s). Just trying to do them seems like a waste of time now since I could be getting guaranteed experience doing regular quests instead of trying and probably failing the space missions.

I still do them on all my alts though for the above reason.

I highly recommend doing the space missions, especially at 50. Get all the best possible upgrades and really aim for doing the bonus quests and secret bonuses (blowing up the command center on the huge destroyer and the communications tower below the station).

At level 50, I make something like 100,000 credits a d earn about 100 space commendations for about an hour of effort. The huge thing is that you can get an epic box for 375 comms that yield a level 50 random epic. I have some really nice stuff waiting for my alts and upgraded my helmet just from that alone :D

I do them a lot as a change of pace, grinding some xp if my char is struggling on a planet, and for the credits.

My main beef is the ones that are basically copies of each other with a name change and some minor difficulty tweaks.

I do want a full space shooter at some point, but in the meantime these are quick and fun and reasonably rewarding.

I was really enjoying them. Until I got to the second escort mission.

I'm not sure what it is, but it almost seems like the shuttle I'm escorting runs into a few asteroids at the end, because he goes from 75% health to 25% in a few seconds.

It is not fun to repeat that mission.

Yeah that one is tough. Every time I beat it it's always pretty close (like 10% left), while the others I can beat by a mile.

What I recommend is to shoot up as many turrets as on the big ships as possible early on in the match, because it's those same ships that are gonna come back to attack again later.

I would like them to release some challenging ones, or something worthwhile as a reward for them. I never do them once I get to 50.

Yeah I agree. I have 3+ gear and an 80 missile bay, and am still stuck with missions that require 1+. Guess it's my combat level...

I do them daily. When you unlock a new tier of missions the xp you get is insane, you can often do nearly an entire level if you get both new space and new pvp missions at the same or close to the same time.

I would love to do space missions. Unfortunately I can't because the XP rewards would push me even further ahead of the content than I already am. Option to disable XP gains, please.

Yeah I agree. I had to skip parts of Alderaan because of this. Now I find myself only wanting to do the gray dailies. Really stinks.

I do understand why we shouldn't turn off xp gains for PVP though.
