2.4+ DPS Leaderboard

Take operatives as an example - before the change to the SA relics they could get quadra procs if they kept corrosive dart on the boss, which was an enormous boost to their healing. It works the same now, although to a significantly lesser degree. KD SA will still proc twice, though, which makes it better than the DF SA if you can keep CD up. Keeping CD up is not particularly hard, so overall you'll get a slight boost in your healing. Could be useful for whenever NiM hits. No need for the current HMs, as they are quite easy.

 

^Pretty much the reason I am taking a break from parsing for a while until I get my KD SA Relic (and two DF implants). I know it's a minor upgrade from my UW SA Relic but...never hurts to be safe.

So I have decided to stop parsing until there is a significant reason to for Shadows, whether that be a buff or a new tier of gear. So I am going to officially post my best Balance parse since I was unable to get anything better despite my efforts. Also wanted to say nice job to Dertygun, good parse, especially considering your overall crit % was 4% lower than mine for this parse.

Just wondering why would you run so much crit in balance whene you get so much in the tree?

There are no crit bonuses in the Balance tree. There are a lot of very good surge bonuses, which is precisely why you want so much crit. The more surge a spec has the more valuable crit becomes. So with all the surge, crit becomes very valuable.

someone help me out pls because i dont know whats going on.. when i see other people parses logs, at the end like any other parse it "Ends combat" (this mark the time the dummy died) but the last ability will always go after that few 0.0.X seconds, and it should say shattered armor bla bla... 1 mil hp bla bla... X dmg dealt 5K.. Dummy Died....

thats the log... if it was like any other post my kill time would be 14:18:052... and Dmg is 1 Mil something from the back stab (3865 Dps). but when i upload the parse this happens:

the time is right... the dps is wrong, and no Kill timestamp.

 

if i move the Leave combat (with same time as the kill stamp) bottom i get this

You have to end the parse on Death, not exit combat. As far as the beginning goes, I can't say.

Torparse lumped in everything with your entering combat, so I'd say this is as close as to the actual genuine parse that you will get. Nice parse. Now I have to go back to the dummy when I get my Relic and implants someday.

I didn't see a way around this either, it happened to me on the 3771 I posted two days ago. Would also appreciate some insight.

take the full parse, the one with the combat ends, and then in torparse, in the trimming parses grab your initial time (in the overview) and the ending time where your kill msg was (usually in the same second so doesnt matter), it shuld trim it to the kill for the dps and end up the combat at Leave combat... that sounds confusing but meh lol

Adding to this, crit is very valuable for all Shadow DPS. The surge bonus Infiltration Shadows about as high. 50% to Project and Breach and 30% to Shadow Strike, our hardest hitting move. Infiltration Shadows hit very hard when they crit, and not as much when they don't. I've had disparity in parses of around 300 dps just due to poor RNG. That 9% damage swing really hurts to look at.

Just got the 78 MH so i'll probably do much better in the future, but at least the board has some blue now.

It had some blue back on page 101, I had a 4'29.995 on my commando.

But that just got beat by .021 by MVaglin, so it's back to being all red right now.

I'll work to bump mine back up this weekend.

It's a technical problem with SWTOR's logging. You leave combat before the last hit happens when dummy parsing so stupid **** like this is rather common. TORParse isn't smart enough to decipher the issue either.

People still do a lot better than me, no doubt in time people will knock me off but I thought I'd throw up the parse and fill up the Jugg/Guardian board a bit more.
