  1. Go for Force in Balance, then Force Strike, then Crush Spirit, and of course finally Sever Force.
  2. Full 34's can definitely hit 4.2k (though you will need some luck) and easily do above 4k. A good APM would be somewhere between 41-42.
  3. It was restricted to Madness Sorcs so I'm 99% positive it will be tied to the "new" Hatred tree for Sins.
  4. You always have the best sig <3
  5. I can't really say much without seeing a parse aside from you could definitely be breaking 4k at least with the gear you have. Hopefully Torparse will be up within the next few days. If you link one once it's back up I'm sure I can let you know what is wrong.
  6. Like Aelanis said, separating the DoTs by an odd number of GCDs, it allows you to always reapply DoTs when they expire and use FiB on cooldown. It used to be that only one GCD of separation was used, but now that you can always get the proc for MC, I started using 3 GCD separation so that the most you would have to delay MC was 2 GCDs, whereas with one GCD separation, you could potentially have to delay MC by 3 GCDs. You could do one GCD if you wanted, or 5, or 7 too. But with 3 its still pretty easy to track DoTs; just count each GCD after applying the first DoT and after 3 you know you need to apply the second.
  7. Definitely Whirling Blow needs a cost reduction or a damage buff. I'd also like to see something added to Shadow's Training that Balance Shadow's can get a benefit from in PvE content aside from a measly 300 health. While 300 health can be the difference between a kill and a wipe, that is rarely going to be the case. The spec was redesigned to literally remove Project from the list of abilities it should normally use, so it doesn't get any benefit from the extra damage on Project. And while the reduced cast time on Force Lift is great for PvP, especially tied with the one skill, it is completely useless on 90% of boss fights. Every other AC gets a great benefit from their special AC passives in all content and specs, whether it be something necessary for the spec/AC to function (like increased force for Sages or increased range for Slingers) or just a great added effect (like ammo and health regen from AoE damage for Vanguards or focus generation when taking damage for Guardians). I don't really know what would be something that wouldn't be OP, but if it were say 3000 extra health as opposed to 300 I'd be happy with that.
  8. I would just like to point out that dps in this fight can be misinterpreted depending on how quickly you make your way through phase 1. If you are holding, then lower dps numbers aren't necessarily bad. The 3k dps numbers come from pushing that phase as fast as possible. Just make sure that you're taking into account how you handle phase 1 when you think about dps.
  9. I know exactly what he meant. Part of the quality of an expansion is what new content it brings. If they can't say they're confident enough to talk about what is coming in an expansion that is supposed to be only 2.5-3 months away, then what all do you really expect to get in the expansion. I don't know about you, but I'd be surprised if they have time to add even one new WZ, one new FP, one new OP, and get the class changes right and somewhat balanced (at least better than 2.0) and make sure there's no extraordinary bugs. Even if they delivered those 4 things right there, that's still quite amazingly inferior to the amount of content added with 2.0 considering the size and playtime of Makeb. Yet they claim it will be of a similar size to RotHC. All I'm saying is it doesn't sound to me like this expansion has the chance to be anything that they claim its supposed to be.
  10. What does it say to have you saying you guys aren't confident enough with the content of 3.0 to be able to release just an announcement in a timely fashion. I'm sorry but if you still have faith that BW will deliver 3.0 by the end of this year, then you're crazy. And if they do somehow manage to get it out without massive bugs and some semblance of class balance by the end of the year, then I'll bet anything content that should've been in 3.0 will be pushed back as far as 3.5.
  11. Actually, all stacks got used, but on the first and second hits of Project, so GG.
  12. Dem crit percents http://gyazo.com/49990e6da0ec19ccaaf2b210ed5b9780
  13. We all know, but thanks for telling us anyways.
  14. I don't understand why it's important to argue this at this point in time. You can run either for any fight no matter the difficulty or the mode. They both have their benefits and pitfalls. When 3.0 hits, all this will be re-evaluated for the new fights and then people can make it known which spec is better suited for what fight and if a spec is unplayable for a given fight, and then people can decide if they want to respec every fight if that's needed or if they want to deal with the downfalls of a spec for certain fights. But that's still a while and most likely more spec changes away. For right now do whatever the **** you want. You like Infil? Run that then. Balance is more to your liking? Go ahead. You wanna run the 5/18/23 Hybrid? It'll be a little lower dps, but it can do the job just fine. How about everyone just enjoy the "Gunther" link in my sig in the meantime.
  15. Well either you only recently started playing or you really do need to pay attention to your skills. That skill has always been 30% DR while stunned, and only that, for Sorcs since day one of 2.0, and same for Assassins. Only in 2.8 did Assassins get the added effect with AoE taunt, mainly because it's the squishiest spec in the game and also has to sit in melee range to do any damage. Also, the extra DCD came when they made our AoE taunt also our aggro drop when in DPS stances. So there was a trade-off, at least for PvE situations.
  16. Really? You're JUST NOW noticing that? That has been that way for Sorcs since 2.8 when they gave that to Assassins. No you guys don't get it, it is just a typo; but seriously, maybe pay a little more attention to your own skills in the future.
  17. I'm confused; I thought Milas put together Zorz AND was also the source of some of the best put-downs this thread has seen to date. Am I wrong? I don't give a **** what anyone says here, I'm just legitimately confused.
  18. I've tested it and it's pretty much the same. But tbh, I would personally still run 5/36/5 just because the extra 9% crit paired with 15% extra crit on Voltaic from the set-bonus and the extra damage and surge for Maul, it just makes more sense imo.
  19. Things largely stayed the same from pre to post-2.0, but then how balanced were things when 2.0 dropped? That's exactly my point. Stop wasting time balancing things that make no difference at this time. I can guarantee you they spent time working on 2.10 that could've gone to 3.0. And if you think any of the changes with 2.10 aside from the Sorc healing changes were actually majorly beneficial in any way to any aspect of the game that is currently important then I'd say you're deluded. As NiM got nerfed, the only thing that is currently important is ranked. Deception only got a buff to sustained which is basically null in ranked, not to mention the other specs that perform better than Deception and only give up a little burst to do so. Carnage you could argue got nerfed due to not having the ability to do two burst windows in a row. Engineering also got a nerf considering the only real useful thing it had was rollbanging which doesn't do as much damage now. Only thing that got a useful change for the current important things in the game was, as I said above, the Sorc healing changes, which help immensely for PvP. I have no problem with them taking the time to give the Sorc heals something they should've gotten a long time ago. But stop wasting everyone's time with putting in changes that really do essentially nothing, especially if you aren't even going to converse with the community about them. Not to mention, the changes they gave us for Deception were a joke in terms of difficulty of implementation. So why couldn't they have added those with 2.8 or 2.9 when they would've actually been somewhat useful for 16M Council NiM? Again, even if they do make changes, for us, they have always been mainly too late. All I'm saying is they ****ed up pretty majorly overall from 2.0 to now. I don't want them to repeat what they already did, so I'd rather them focus on the future where things are much much more important than what is currently important, at least with regards to our class.
  20. I've said it so many times, but I would love to go back to those days knowing what I know now to see what I could do.
