Class: Juggernaut

Spec: 2/33/6 Vengeance

DPS: 1589

All 61 except 58 might armorings in bracers

Kind of depressing actually I can't see how you could squeeze much more out of this class.

 

You could squeeze a lot more out actually, I was told strength max should be around 2100, and your crit should be 30 and 75 and you got a lot to spare that you could put into strength and power that that would boost your dps a lot

Gear is close to BiS but missing a few armoring/enhancements and bracers

The screenshot messed up slightly, I alt tabbed and screenshotted straight away to see it without it dipping but didn't have the main part up, you can see the dps number on the small pop-out though.

 

 

This is hillarious BTW. Apart from casting thermal detonator once and incindiary missile once or twice all you did was:

-Flame Burst

-Rocket Punch

-Railshot

-Rapid shots

 

The only problem I see with your rotation is managing to stay awake. Why not drop thermal detonator all together and get 3% more Aim to dumb it down more and do more DPS :D

I do agree, the powertech rotation is very simple. However I am casting incendiary missile whenever it runs off the target, the damage you see there is just from the impact, mox records it like that for some reason. A lot of other classes are like that though, both sorcerers and mercenaries both only use around 4/5 abilities.

Edit: My previous reported parses were done using the incorrect dummy. Stupid stupid me. I have removed the previous parses to avoid confusion from people that cannot read edits.

 

Here's my most recent parse with no inspiration, exotech might stim, full buffs and a single use of valorous call since I would be using the other for inspiration anyway..

That's it. *retires vengeance jug*. A freakin pvp class of a sent is out dpsing the best vengeance parse ever recorded. How the bells is that balanced? I have as much strength as this combat sent and I'm stuck at 1450-1500

I just want to point out the stupidity of saying "pvp class of sent." Combat has been extremely viable for PVE for a long time now. It may be FotM for pvp, but that does not take away from it's viability in PVE.

Hi there, i'm a french gunslinger (on the server "Battle Meditation") and i did a little test on 5 minutes or more and my best score alone is 1946 dps on 324 sec on the ops dummy

 

I did a video of that with MoxDesktopParser to follow my dps during the fight :

dont want to be rude but next time chek if you are on the correct training dummy since thats is not ops mk5 training dummy and that means your dps on ops mk 5 is about 1250-1350 and the whole idea of this post was to compare dps on ops training dummy mk5 not combat one

Hence why I posted to ignore the first couple parses on there. The dummy I used for the parse in the edit was on my gulidmate's ship, it was the operations dummy sans armor debuff. So it is the correct dummy. Might as well go ahead and remove the confusion and delete the parses on the incorrect dummy from my post. Also, btw I caught my own mistake, no need to tell me again.

ok sorry then, but still as i understand there is difference between the one you can unlock on your ships and the mk-5 if not please clarify

No difference between the ones on the ship and the ones on fleet. I only wish there would be more ops dummies on the fleet so more than one person can use them at a time without putting in additional effects for other players.

 

Actually, I've found that there is a difference.

I parse higher on my ship's dummy than I do on the fleet dummy.

Only thing I can think of is that there is less lag on my ship.

I've tested this theory multiple times and on the average, I get 100-200 dps higher on my ship dummy. (this was back in 1.3 patch), I haven't tested this post 1.6 since I re-subbed.

Arsenal Mercenary. 1862 dps. I could probably do better if I made another attempt or two. I'm 1 or 2 mods short of min/maxed BH/Campaign. No adrenal or on-use relic. Rakata Stim.
