Idk if this has been suggested yet but idk why this hasn’t been implemented yet. It’d be great to see everyone hold their lightsaber differently and or turn it on and flash it differently. It’d give a lot of personalization to our characters.

So basically two sabers beats one in the star wars universe. This explains a lot because while you may not always NEED two sabers, there are countless scenarios where someone picks up another saber to gain an advantage in battle. Examples being, magus in the return trailer, maul vs sidious in clone wars, Kaden vs the inquisitor in rebels... the list goes on. Plus every npc in swtor with the title "master duelist" is dual weilding

So basically, two sabers is better than one? And that's why the juggernaut gets armor, and the Marauder gets two sabers?

According to parsley, jugs and guards are last in dps parsing in comparison to other classes. So my question is... *** is up with that?

Is that with or without dual wield mastery?

How do marauders do more damage?

I mean I remember when marauders was mandatory if you wanted to be top melee dps. Now it's like... two sabers is more of a style of play, than a symbol of superiority. I guess that's howthe devs want it now?

Ok so with guardians now getting a 20% damage boost to their weapon damage from single Saber mastery, plus with shein form having an overall 9 percent damage boost and juyo form getting nerfed, and dual wield mastery no longer available for watchmen it seems like there is no advantage whatsoever to pick up another lightsaber and roll a sentinel/marauder. Are juggernauts/guardians the better dps class now?

That's exactly how I feel. I don't see how Carange should have the idea of being a master of dual wielding but not annihilation

If juggernauts get single Saber mastery for all 3 disciplines, why do marauders not get dual weird for all 3 specs. I feel if you roll with annihilation, there is almost no benefit in comparison to a vengeance juggernaut because they damage buff from single Saber mastery balances the small damage boost you get from one Saber as annihilation.

Yeah but I just read that bane asked him does the double blade offer more advantages? He said no, but you think it does. ??

See thats what I figure, but than why in the codex does it call sentinels peerless lightsaber combatants and why is ever dual wielding npc called a master dualists? Why is sentinel gear weapon master? It seems like bioware is communicating to us that dual wielding is superior

in swtor, apparently the lore dictates that the sentinel's are the lightsaber masters of the jedi order. and their gear is named "weaponmaster". is this implying that dual weilding is superior to single blade combat once fully mastered?

While you can defend with two sabers, I think the devs felt that heavy armor protected a person better than a second saber

Idk cuz even in the clone wars, dual weilding seems superior. Like u said, all those jedi did use a single blade, but they could also dual weild. For example, sidious used dual sabers to defeat maul and savage. And maul even took up another saber just to keep up with sidious. Anakin took up another saber too when he faced that one chick in the clone wars season finale (forgot her name). And obi wan took up two sabers when facing savage and maul. Malgus did the same in the return trailer. He cOuld not defeat that jedi WITH his master, but than he picks up another saber and he wastes him. Its like even the lore is saying dual welding is superior...

How is it superior?

When you pick your AC, the trainer explains that "sentinels are the lightsaber masters of our order". Why sentinels and not guardians included? What makes the sentinel the lightsaber master? Cuz they dual wield? Did dual welding suddenly become superior over the single blade? I don't understand this.

vengeance juggernaut is MORE than fine, and it's very suitable for nightmare ops. But in the end, yes, marauder will always dish out more dps and have better raid utilities.
