Like most things the players are unhappy with, the Devs have taken a stuff fingers in ears and hope it goes away approach. If they went as far as switching the tracer missile and fusion missile animation for mercs based on "popular demand" then they should give us back our damn giggle. From time to time I hear some other class giggling whenever they use a certain ability, I have no idea what it is, but it's driving me insane. I loved my giggle, hell, that was one of the reasons I made my op in the first place. Give us back our giggle, please. I believe the original reason they gave was sound fatigue. Damhooligan Posted June 16, 2012 Share Posted June 16, 2012 (edited) No. Either give all classes the ability to have a taunting, annoying, mocking sound that everyone has to hear or get rid of them.I would have no problem with your giggle if when my unload went off it said something like "Ha, HA!" or with a Powertech yelling "Get over here" when you get yoinked by the cable pull. Make no mistake, that is why it was changed and I am glad for it. Now we just got to get rid of your OP stun lock until damn near death on other players and viola' you guys are right where you need to be, in line with everyone else. coldserpent Posted June 23, 2012 Share Posted June 23, 2012 I vote to have it brought back. Seriously, having the Powertech's Grapple ability sound isn't helping any. It's not unique. The giggle was. The chuckle, the chortle, the snicker, they were one of the fun elements. Now it seems that Pyrotechs/Assault Specialists and Sith Warriors get the laughing element.
