  1. These are brilliant, please keep them coming! They always brighten my day
  2. Like most things the players are unhappy with, the Devs have taken a stuff fingers in ears and hope it goes away approach. I really wish those who had complained about the giggle in the first place had thought to do the same!!!
  3. What CaptainApop said is very true, you can change your entire outfit just by changing the chest and you can wear crit crafted synthweaving gear too (medium armor of course) giving you a nice Sith kinda look, plus covering up gopping trousers, and in my case horrible boots (bright red and looked like wellies!!!). Also when you start getting campaign gear, the set bonus is bound to the armoring allowing you to move that into the item of your choice as long as it's the equivalent (gloves to gloves for example). What you need to ask yourself is, how often do you use Kolto Infusion? Looking back over my parse logs, I found I didn't use it as much as I thought so it wasn't too much of a big deal for me to swap out a couple of items to get augmented gear. Kolto infusion is good for those moments when you really need to land a big heal in quick, but I found popping an alacrity adrenal and using kolto injection to be more than enough. Suppose, everyone has their own ways of healing, I just found the set bonus to be a bit meh.
  4. I dunno about ones with black straps but my armormech can make Sniper Elite Leggings which are white like that with a grey thigh strap (schematic/picture).
  5. It is a minor request which makes it all the more boggling that they bothered to take it out in the first place. Give agents our giggle back or have it toggle at client side. I miss my giggle.
  6. I personally loved the IA story line and quite a few others did (see this thread). If you like twists, turns, subplots, intrigue and James Bond, you should enjoy it
  7. I think when I first started doing ops, all I had was orange gear with the mods and stuff bought with daily commendations, and my guild were running Hard Mode ops, though they did run a few Story Mode ones for me to get gear at first. I don't recall any issues because of my gear but it might have been because I was a healer and it didn't matter much that my gear wasn't the best, but it sounds like your gear greatly outstrips what I started to raid in! You didn't say what class you are, but if your guild is giving you a hard enough time for you to bring this to the forums, then perhaps it's worth just buying the columi gear to quiet them down and hope that you get better from running the ops with them which is comparable to the PvP gear you've already got.
  8. Have you tried reading this thread? If you want a hard and fast response, then out of the two, sorcs are better.
  9. It's more how uncomfortable you can make him when you flirt with him that appeals to me. I've not gotten very far in his story arc yet but I can't wait to see where it goes and how my SW will deal with the outcomes of future events. However, my hands down favourite romance would have to be Torian. My mates started taking the p*** out of me cos I wouldn't shut up about him! My IA romanced Kailyo, and I thought that was really well done. He went into that romance with his eyes wide open, fully expecting it to be nothing more than a fling, so it was really nice when Kaliyo finally admitted her true feelings for him (after a little bit of prompting, I might add!). Temple however just creeps me out, and I find her voice really irritating; can't see why anyone would wanna romance that!
  10. After immediately getting off on the wrong foot with SCORPIO, I've grown quite fond of her chilling, insta-death threats. I also love the way she randomly yells "Burn!" at mobs while I'm quietly picking them off. Having now completed all the dialogue for her, she's actually become one of my favourite companions. I <3 SCORPIO!
  11. I rolled a male agent and for me it just made the class. My other half rolled a female one so we got to compare, and we thought both the voice actors are very well done. Playing as a male character does make some of the more subtle bits of the class quest more meaningful (at least in my opinion), and I found the ending totally epic in how it tied in with the way I'd played my agent as a serial flirt throughout. The only other deciding factor is if you like the romance options. For me it had to be our little anarchy driven insane and downright nutjob Kaliyo (I imaging she'd show my agent a thing or two!), or the other female companion you get later on (I found her incredibly annoying, but that's just me). Where as my other half only had the option to romance Bugman. Either way, the agent is your smooth talking, suave, mysterious and deadly super secret spy, and is incredible fun.
  12. I personally levelled up with medic and in your face (or behind) stabby stabby for the most part, switching to medic and ranged attacks when I began to level up in Warzones (slower than adventuring but much more fun!). The up close and personal style was great for picking off groups of mobs one by one, while Kaliyo tanked them for me and if I bit off more than I could chew, operatives get quite a few crowd control abilities which certainly helped turn the tide in my favour. I really enjoyed levelling this class as it was a nice mix of skills, challenge and picking your targets well; pretty much how I imagine a real life agent would be Happy levelling!
  13. While you made some very valid points in your post, I have a problem with this above. I am a raider, I'm not in a hardcore guild but I choose to raid regularly and I do not think that the whole of the community issues are to be put on hard core raiders doorstep. For starters, why is it not those who hard core PvP for complaining about classes that get nerfed so people unsub? Why isn't it the casual population who took 3 months and longer to get to 50 who now find they are without groups because they took their time so they unsub? Why isn't it BW's fault for not anticipating the ghost servers so people are left LFG for hours then unsub? Why isn't it game breaking performance issues or bugs that still aren't fixed months after launch that make people unsub? Yes, hard core raiders burning through content means they unsub quicker, but generally speaking, these types of players who eat content and aren't prepared to wait for more, aren't the ones that stay with a game long term anyway. I'm sorry, but there are numerous issues with what is a brilliant game and blaming the hard core raiders for them all is in my opinion a little unfair and unwarranted. Just my opinion.
  14. 1 being poor and 10 being excellent, I'd have to say the Agent story is an 11! Just my opinion though.
  15. I've not played DPS on either but I have levelled both merc and operative healers to level 50 and run Nightmare Mode operations. Hands down the operative is more fun and versatile healing-wise, but I think that is just because it suits my heal style more. Both the story lines are great but I also think the agent one wins again in terms of pure awesomeness, plot twists and the way it really got my emotions running. Don't get me wrong, I thought the bounty hunter one was brilliant as well, but the ending just seemed a little lacking where as I had the biggest grin on my face at the end of the agent one. Hope this helps a little!
