Nope, there's no way to continue later, that's why this is a huge deal. You'll have to wait for 4.4 (as announced above) for a fix. Hopefully it will get fixed by then.

This. I'm sitting on the ship and just waiting for this to be completed so i can start Chapter I. I'll come back to the game when it's fixed. I just hope it won't take months so i don't lose track of the story :|

Then that sounds like an issue between the developers and community managers, customers shouldn't get shafted because someone can't be arsed to fix something broken, not to mention only subscribers can make tickets. This is basic customer service fail.

Can't finish until the devs fix, yes it sucks. Tried with a GM to force the quest to complete but he said he can't. (why not?)

I would prefer if there was 3 variations of the story. One with the two jedi classes, one with the two siths and the third with the smuggler/hunter.

Is it Defiance? Check your mission log because i'm stuck on that one and i can't go into KOTFE because of it.

Just got to this point and went full sith - killed One, killed Two, shocked the Third, he gave up the chip and then i killed him anyway - no explosion so likely scammers. The way the Third reacted tells me they aren't even linked. But when i got back Rylee and Destris both said "stay awhile we love to have you" in a creepy way. This is the guide i use: http://i.imgur.com/vc4WCiu.jpg I would complete each class' origin story (Chapters 1, 2 and 3) - they all end at Corellia (before Ilum). Once you complete one move onto the next class. Once you complete all classes choose a class from both faction (a jedi knight and sith inquisitor for example) and use those characters to complete chapters 4, 5 and 6. Don't start chapter 6 (KOTFE) until you finish everything else. Reguardless - there's little reason to do this, as the most you'll get are the ocasional reference to a character or companion a couple of times.

As with other missions DO NOT try to teleport to tatooine using the legacy teleport. You have to manually travel with your ship to the planet before the quest triggers the zoning into the phase. I've wasted an hour just trying to find the quest location :|

Speak for yourself. Level Sync is what brought me back to the game. I am able to actually complete planets without "wasting time", i can survive against pvp heroes while leveling, "the story-guys" (myself and my gf included) love it for the reason above, as PvPers love it because now it's a fair game to gank lowbies instead of oneshotting them for no reason and PvErs now don't feel bad for doing content below max-lvl "because its faster at max lvl". Level Sync was the main reason i came back and subbed. You can't oneshot things at lower levels (you still can with good gear xD ) so you whine about it. This should've been since launch and other MMOs should adobt this mechanic.

All skills on one characters would be nice, yes. But i disagree, level sync is awesome and i love it.

Whenever i open a crafting window all sections are collapsed so i have to constantly click on every single section to expand them. Any filters I select don't stay and reset back to All | All | Difficulty if i close the window. Any chance that this is just a bug? it's really annoying to craft anything like this.

So i would often go to the fleet while leveling and pick up the newest gear from basic commendations, sometimes even the purple boxes for some nice purple items. Where are they? I only see modification vendors.

Supposedly you'll be doing the CLASS quests and the MAIN PLANET STORYLINE quests only, with any sidequests being hidden by default. So you will still be doing the planetary quests but any sidequests like "pick this up while you're there" are going to be hidden and separate. So yes generally its still shorter. You can still do dungeons or pvp to sidestep the planetary questline.

Mandatory level sync is the reason why i started playing again. Now those ganking idiots will think twice before ganking lowbies AND i can actually complete planetary story quests without "wasting time" because it's too low lvl. In fact i got my gf to start playing with me and we both rolled a new character and doing ALL the quests in order. We're 5 levels above Dromund Kaas but that doesn't matter since with level sync we'll be getting proper exp and items for our level and follow the story without skipping missions. What i WOULD love is for a complete revamp of the daily comendation gear to simply sell items that would match my level instead of having 30 different vendors for different levels.

If you're leveling the first time i suggest you ignore it and do all the quests reguardless. You still get cash and comendations. If you've done it before you can skip all quests and focus only on class quests. You have the one-time space missions and flashpoint quests to give you a bridging boost. I'm leveling my bounty-hunter and skipped balmorra completely by blazing through with class quest only. I wish 200% would stay permanently. This is much more enjoyable.

Still won't be enough to level through class quests alone :|
